"Oh, I see...Well, I will do whatever it takes to see you. Anything. I swear." She says with a smile on her face, then she sighs, looking at a small picture of her father, touching it delicately with her fingertips.

Nadir lingered in the shadows, impatiently waiting for Erik to finish.

"Anything..." Erik whispered to himself in a voice of finality, though, it was so light at the same that he figured Christine did not think it out of his angelic character. "You are wonderful to have such faith, my dear. I believe I could count you as the most, even if I, too, knew those who did not love music so much as yourself, as well."

By this point, the old monster had rather forgotten the Persian. His conversations with his love were far too enthralling for even thinking of going back to what would only inevitably become a scolding from his high-minded "friend."

Christine smiles at the comment that makes her feel so alive, so thrilled that she knows him. "Thank you so much. It means a lot to me that you trust me so much."

Ooc: Sorry for taking so long to write.
I was going to wait for others, but... no-one else is posting. sweatdrop

Bic: "It should be impossible, even for the mortal, who cannot see into the souls of their bretheren, for a being to not feel trust in you, Mademoiselle. You have only ever known to be honest," the monster responded with a bit of a twisted smile on the other side of the mirror, sickened, at times, by his own mindless speech on some goodness of the human race when he still hardly believed that any existed, beyond Christine. "I must trust you, Christine."

Ooc: I think I'll do Madame Giry again now. Does she know about Erik in the book, or is that just the movie?

Bic: Madame Giry slowly made her way down the stairs, seeing that all of the excitement was over. She wondered where her daughter was. That silly girl was always running off and telling wild stories to impress or scare her friends.
She glanced around, also wondering where the managers. Managers! Pah! They could barely manage themselves, let alone an Opera House. They were too rich for their own good.

"I'm so glad that you put so much trust in me. Sadly, I must take care of a few things, so I must leave you. Until later." Christine then stands and leaves the room after bidding him goodbye.

"Bon aprez-midi, Mademoiselle," Erik responded in something of a wistful voice, fighting, as he often did, to refrain from speaking on her beauty or kindness further. After all... angels did not 'see' physical qualities of people, nor were they supposed to find love to be a kindness. It was merely accepted, as the divine expected to be loved.

With nothing else to be done, the old, dark creature took his swift leave back to the rafters, and, upon spotting the dodgy old Persian in his ridiculously impatient place, Erik tapped on the wooden stake that came through to attract the man's attention before beckoning him up the stairs again. He, of all people, should have known how conspicuous Erik's coming to the floor would have been.

That was probably why he did such a thing, after all.

Ooc: She only knows him as the 'ghost' in the book, who talks to her in the box and all that jazz. razz

The Persain looked at him. "Ah! You are finally one!" he noted, "I have been patiently waiting for you."

Ooc: Yeah right...
PostPosted: Thu Mar 12, 2009 5:12 pm

OOC: I've never really read the book, to tell you the truth.

"'Patiently?' I could practically hear your frustrated thoughts on my conversation from behind my mirror. Come, now... what did you wish to speak of?" Erik returned in a more dangerously jocular manner, not being the sort to act so unless it were within the mental confines of a sick game of cat-and-mouse.

Ooc: It's alright. This is supposed to be a general re-working of the book.
If you want a book summary, I can always send it to you by way of PM.

OOC: No, I don't need that. But my question is if we could have the ending be totally different then the book or do we have to fallow the guidlines of the book to a very precise line?

Ooc: Well, as long as you know the basic plot of the book. I fear that it's quite different. XD
The ending could be whatever comes at that time. We are starting very early, after all- it will be at least a week before she is 'taken' the first time, and probably several role-play months before the 'end'.
Though, of course, we might change it so much that things happen faster or slower. Depends upon the mood of the players/peoples' response time.

OOC: I see. ANd yes, I know how that can be. It could take even a year at this rate. XD

Ooc: Especailly since we don't have all of the characters yet.

Bic: Madame Giry slowly made her way to Carlotta. She still looked rather fustrated.
"That was quite a show you and that young man put on," Madame Giry observed, an amused smile on her face.
