He yawned again, "I think it can wait until tomorow, I don't know about you but I'm tired." He nussled some grass over his legs, like a blanket, until he was satisfied. He looked up at what could be seen of the stars. "Sleep well my angel." he smiled as he began to drift off, his head nodding.

Darcy smiled, "I am sure she or he wishes the same for you...rest well dark prince." He was glad that Octavius had someone special somewhere. It was wonderful to hear, though he was rather burden with lots of things so he could did not sleep too well

In the morning the soft sounds of someone splashing around in water nearby could be heard. Darcy's had rose early wanting to clean before the son of death came to wash up. His royal pale skin was bright and almost ghostly in the early morning sun. His glittering mane and wings fluttered as he moved his feathered tail heavy with water.
He seemed very relaxed and was smiling to himself splashing around like a foal every now and then. He giggled and shook it off his red eyes were light and warm.

Flashes of deams that were quickly forgoten passed before his eyes; bursts of feeling, color, sound, and other less noticable sences. He woke, bleary eyed to the sound of splashing and rose slowly, joints poping and creaking. He wandered to where Darcy had slept and not finding him there followed the sound of splashing.
He watched from a shadowed part of the bank at the glittering form of Darcy and felt a possesiveness uncommon to him. The only time he felt that was when someone threated his family and that had only happened once...

Darcy did not know of Octavius' eyes on him. He laughed flapping his wings happily and he ducked under the water and when he came up with water showering all over him he saw the dark prince. His pale cheeks darkened with a strong blush. "I...I am sorry if I woke you....I wanted to wash so you could wash up alone." He said as he stood with the water covering his belly and legs.
He moved towards the shore. "I will let you get to washing....and...I will try to find you something to eat." As he moved onto the shore his royal breeding could be seen his coat was smooth and flawless his muscles were taught and strong rippling as he moved.
"I hope you slept well dear prince of darkness"

He smiled and watched Darcy, not bothering to conceal his gaze. "You did not wake me, if I slept any longer I wouldn't be able to stand it." He worked his way out of his cloak and took off the leg armor on his front left leg. He grabed his cloak and drug in into the water, rubbing the bloodstains with sand until it was its usal grey color.
Octavius hung the cloak from a branch in the sun then turned back into the water and began scrubbing himself. He rolled his sholders happily and looked over his sholder at Darcy "So do you want to join me?"

Darcy found he could not remove his gaze as the other started to strip. He watched the beautiful red skin being revealed and he smiled softly. He really was a beautiful stallion, and even though he was not exactly of royal blood he had the clear signs of a good breeding.
He smiles and laughs softly as the red male asked for him to join him. "I thought you would never ask." he said softly and nodding he walks in slowly into the water. He shook his head and shifted his wings and he moves towards Octavius.

Octavius smiled mechiveously, suddelny using a wing to flip up a light spray of water. He danced away far enough to escape retaliation, his laugh ringing out into the early morning air. He dunked his body down until only his head peeked out of the water and then, with a big intake of air, he submurged his head under water.

Darcy shook his head and laughed as he was splashed he moves after Octavius smiling as the other ducked under the water and he playfully wrapped his front legs over Octavius' hips trying to keep him from swimming of but the other was able to slip from him. Smiling he moved over watching and waiting to see his head popping up.

Octavius managed to get a good ways away before surfacing for air. He grinned at Darcy, wiggling his eyes tantingly. "Come and get me angel." He moved farther away, keeping his front twords him. Suddenly he yellped and stumble backwards as he stepped into a sink hole. He rose up out of the water sputtering and not looking very graceful for the moment, his wet mane covering his face, a half choke half laugh erupting from his mouth.

He shook his head and moved strongly threw the water. He blushed at being called an angel, "OH my dear demon you might just tempt me to fall from heaven's grace." he teased playfully smiling brightly.
The smile faded quickly as he saw Octavius fall back and cried out. He moved quickly over watching with worry as he saw the male rise back up. He winced and moved to nuzzled Octavius helping to lift the other's head up, "Oh dear dark prince are you alright?" He asked his forehead nuzzled under the other's chin.

He shook the water from his coat, the spray going every where, he chuckled. "I am quite fine, a little surprised but otherwise nothing is wrong." He licked a drop of water from Darcy's cheek then snuck a peck on his lips, a sly smile on his lips. "I'm not sure if it would be worth it, heaven sounds like a fairly nice place, quite the opposite of hell."

Darcy smiled and when the dark prince pecked his lips he nuzzled his against the other giving the peck a longer stand. He shook his head and smiles warmly moving back to the shallows again, "To rot in hell for the one I love would be my idea of heaven if it would bring him love and peace." he nods laughing softly. "If there is love then anywhere would be a heaven." he nods and flicks his tail moving out onto the shore he shook his body out again.

His head lifted up to the sky, his smile serene as he thought over what Darcy said. "Love is both heaven and hell, there are times you don't think it is possible to love more and times when you just want to strangle the other. But no matter what you still would do anything for them." He grinned at Darcy. "Thats my description for it at least."

Darcy nods, "That is very true...but if your willing to love then you condemn yourself to the care of another, and pray that all will go well. Life is not always prefect...and it is best if you have one real and heavy fight just to see if the love can survive it."
He moves over to a large flat clean rock big enough for three adult Yumas and he lay on it in the sun. "You are very wise....I can see why my sister would want to join your family." He said sadly.

He snorted at the last comment and moved over to Darcy. "She found the one she was ment for, one day you will too and you might see why she left for another life, although I have a feeling you will stay with your mother, even when you have foals and a mate."
He nussled Darcy's cheek and then hauled himself out of the water to flop down next to him. "Love is a war; there are allies, enimes and others who you have no idea which side they are on." He smiled "And there are many small battles that take palce but all over the same thing, the heart of the one you desire."
