Serena noticed how happy Yoke was here and she was very sure she would become one of her maiko before too long.

The words flowed from her lips as she busily swept the kitchen. She even twirled a bit and giggled as the song seemed endless until the singer ended. The broom made quick work of the little dirt that was on the kitchen floor. This was such a well keep place she was certain now that this is where she belonged. As she finished the sweeping she stopped singing and placed the broom in its rightful place. Okay so this okiya might need a bit of reorginizing but she was up for any challenge.

She turned back to Serena and bowed at the waist. "Serena-sama, would it be alright if I asked you some questions about how this all works?" She closed her eyes and brought her hands together in front of her heart as she lowered her chin a little. "I want to make certain that I do everything correctly and properly."

She smiles softly at Dea-san. "How is it that one becomes a geisha here?" A loose strand of silver hair falls from the head cloth to rest between her violet eyes. "While I would be honored to be a maiko, I came here to try to become a geisha. Hoping that maybe through gaining the status that I would be able to become like the others who live here. I am often times to blunt and stubborn for my own good."

"Well you must first become a maiko. After you have become a maiko and have an onee-chan, then after soo many patrons ask for you, you can become a Geisha of the okiya,"Serena answered.

Yome blushes a bit from embarassment. "There I go again. Being bold." She bows at the waist. "Then if there is nothing else Dea-san, would it be alright if I explored the okiya a bit?" Her eyes sparkled with keen interest. "I wish to examine this home in detail so that as a maid I can know where everything is at so that I do not have to act as though my mind rides the winds constantly."

She turned her head once again to the maids' room where she went over to her bundle. She kneeled and opened the edges of it and removed the red book again. She opened it carefully and looked about for a light. Spying one she moved over to it with a flint set she always keep inside her kimono. She lits it and turns to the book once again.
"Softly ever so softly the wind doth blow
Its gentle caress sparking deep fires within"
A wry smile tugs on her lips as she replaces the tome and blows out the lamp but not before lighting a candle.

With the candle she begins to explore the okiya a bit. Unconconsciously straightening things as she explored as the sun sank lower in the west. Crickets chirped softly as the images blazened on the shoji doors seemed to dance with a small flame. Her violet eyes reflected the smae dance in their dark depths as she walked with barely any sound through the okiya.
