So, anyway, I wake up. Eat breakfast. Turn on the T.V.

Lalalalalaaaaaaa...HOO CRAP THE MARKETS ARE DYING.

AGAIN.

Officially labeling this "Black Sunday", Lehman Bros. filed bankruptcy and Merrill Lynch was sold to Bank of America (which already bought CountryWide Home Loans earlier this year).

Lehman Bros. has been in the markets for 158 years. That's BEFORE the Great Depression. They had $613 billion in debt. The largest in U.S. history to file for bankruptcy.

UGH! Everyone was all "Merrill Lynch is fine! Fiiine! Maybe they'll even buy Lehman Bros.!!!" You lie! You liiie!

Now they're all "Omg, AIG is dying toooo. Give them $20 billion dollars government!"

Jim Cramer says AIG will not fail. WILL NOT FAIL.

He said the SAME THING about Bear Stearns. Where are they now Cramer, hmm? Where. Are. They. Now.

Can Washington Mutual PLEASE not fail? They've had their share of problems in the market too and sure they've had their credit downgraded to "junk" status but...my money is in there and...I know it's safe if the bank goes under but....but....I don't want them to fail. *cries*

But, hey, oil is BELOW $100 which is awesome. And the dollar is getting a little better. See? See? Good news. Gooood neeews.

Sigh...this seems to be a current trend on the Market. What will be the next institution to fail?

EDIT: AND YAY FOR NO GOVERNMENT BAIL OUT.

Is the government finally going to stop bailing these companies out, giving them a dose of their own medicine? srsly? Maybe Paulson is serious about no more government bailouts.

Edit2: Whoops they did bail them out and now I'm told that it was essential to do so. Who knows what would have happened? eek

No what pisses me off about money? How a lot of it disappears in a social security that i'll NEVER see when I'm older. I could be INVESTING this shiz and making my own retirement fund.

I'm getting tired of driving 20 miles to school already.
It wouldn't be so bad if I carpooled with someone, but I'm the only one that chose to have night classes. stare

And I know I've said this before so many times, but I ******** HATE DRIVING IN THIS TOWN!!! scream

Half the time they don't drive the speedlimit, half the time they cut you off.
And most of the time they block you in where you can't get pass them.
Oh, and they more often then not, try to cause an accident. stressed

And now I really need to go to bed. I was in Sydney, and now I'm drifting east to Tokyo. emo

So. Back to Blackboard. I FINALLY GET IN IT RIGHT
And it logs me out.
THEN I LOG BACK IN
And it says, "ERROR NO KNOWN ID"
So, I had to change my password AGAIN
And the practice quiz I studied from it, wasn't even the quiz we took in Psych. AT ALL D<

Well, that's a wrap on entering the arena for another year or so. An entire week and only 6 ratings? Lovely. /shrug

I wasn't counting it both ways for me. I'm driving about 40 miles everyday, 3 or 4 times a week.
But that's not as bad as you. sweatdrop <********, not only am I on sleep schedule with Sydney, I'm also eating at the same time they do.

First meal 4:30pm, second meal 11:45. And snacks after that. sweatdrop

Ah, but you can be cited for obstruction of traffic if you are driving too slow.
Especially when you're in the number 1/left lane. As the saying goes, "Slower traffic keep right."

I'm not that impatient of a man, but come on.
I pisses me off when you get stuck behind someone that is going 15 miles lower then the speed limit without probable cause.

And then there are the truck drivers on the interstate that drive in the number 2 lane. Which I hate, and something that can get the drivers in trouble, since they are only allowed the 3rd and 4th lanes by california law.
