I pulled out my mask as soon as I was secure on Thintaldor's back. I summoned the ancient power that flows through the blood of my kin as well of myself and summoned control of the air. My eye's began to glow the color of Thintaldor's scales as the stench and poison vanished from the air. The air smelled clean and was easy to breath, sucking the challenge of aerial precision away from Thintaldor, but also diminishing my power.
I dove through the air with grace and speed, avoiding any and all injury with the beauty of a dragon. Eventually it got dark and I had to breath fire to see the caves around me, and my skin began to crawl. The walls had steaks of dragons blood torn down the sides with scales and chunks of flesh scattered across the fissure floor. Eventually the cave opened into a large room, and after blowing a blue fire large enough to find the king I dove and landed silently on the ground. Fifenloor stopped her incantation and I choked raggedly on the wave of extreme toxins. I couldn't breath for a while but I ignored the pain as Fifenloor tried her hardest to heal him while ignoring the dark presence surrounding us.

Giz slowly opened his eyes and tried to cough out the foul tiny critters crawling and spreading disease in him.

I let my magic fold around them, purifying the air around the heads of the two dragon's and me, praying something new would would change our unpreferable predicament. I coughed as clean air rushed back into my lungs. I wheezed until my breathing became steadier and I said with my calmest voice, "You are an idiot."

Giz blew fire through his throat and spat out the microscopic dead creatures. He narrowed his eyes at the dragon and stood up. Against his better judgement, he walked straight for the darkest corner in the cavern. Blood poured off him, but he was not as important as this mountain and the dragons who usually live on it. He grimaced at the thought of dying down here. A guttural hiss echoed through the cavern. He turned to tell the dragon to shut up, but then he remembered dragons can't make such a strange noise. He tried, but all that came out was a gurgle. He turned his head to the elf and raised a claw to his lips.

The dragon was acting foolish, or at least to me it seemed as such. The presence as easy to sense and it's aura was deafening. Still the reckless purple dragon strayed further towards it's center, risking it's life in a ignorant way.
The sound was stomach churning but a trait I learned from hanging around the elves was to never move, to never flinch, and to never show signs of any reaction whatsoever. So I watched in curiosity as the purple dragon walked deeper into the abyss.

Giz turned back and wheezed. His throat was hot with more creatures multiplying by the second. He boldly walked up to the dark corner and let out a hiss. A large blackish blobby mass pulsed like a giant heart. Tendrils whacked the air, pounding on the walls. Giz was amazed he hadn't heard the noise. Surrounding it were hundreds of filthy rats, walking on their hindlegs. A normal rat scuttered by and was smacked by one of the tentacles. Squealing in pain as its spine snapped and rearranged itself, along with its intestines, it reared up on its hindlegs and began to walk in circles. Soon, it stopped showing signs of pain altogether. Giz was curious as to what this monster was, he reached out a claw and poked it. He was shocked when his whole paw was sucked into the beast. Suddenly, Giz began to scream in pain. He felt the bones in his hand arranging, cracking, poking through his skin.

At the sound of the foolish dragon's scream Thintaldor and I snapped into action. I pulled out my duel swords made of the bones from Clawson wings and sliced the air as my spell fell free. Thintaldor purged through the air and roared as fire spurred form her mouth and planted it's blue flesh burning self onto the mass.
I burst my flames onto the creature and Fifenloor sliced her blades into the air. I know we made contact but I don't know what happened, for as soon as my flame went out all went black and I could no longer hear giz's screams, either because my ear drums were affected, Giz stopped screaming, or something else I was too petrified to think about.

Giz was swimming in black. He looked at his paw without pain as it slowly broke and re-assembled. His tail had moved to the very base of his back and now it began to stick out, hard like a raptor's tail. His wings snapped back and his limbs lengthened. He felt his spine come out of his body and go back in, but it didn't hurt. He glanced over at the other dragon. It was changing too.
In the real world, Giz was on the ground, screaming and howling in pain. He was changing in the real world also.

((Ummm.... not as sure about how to express the... transformation thingy so...
It hurt.
I watched as the two dragon's had their body torn and reassembled, and little emotion swept me, but the little that did was one I never truly faced before: Fear. I stepped back and prayed that what was happening was not real, and that we'd be spared... .....A false hope.. an ignorant hope....
...almost like a hope of a human...

((Just say how strange it was that there was pain, but it was masked. That type o' stuff)) Giz watched in wonder out of the corner of his eye as his neck shortened. He wobbled to his back paws, which had stretched out much like feet. Fin-like spines shot out of his tail and neck, thin and papery. His tail stretched outward, longer and longer. Giz moaned in indescribable pain as his upper arm lengthened and his elbow shifted. He stumbled to his feet, unaware of his actions.Giz swam through the black to the other dragon. He smiled and nodded in respect at the form the dragon had taken. Giz's anthropomorphic (furry) form (He just turned into it because of that huge creature in the cave.) (DO NOT SEARCH DRAGON FURRY! BAD THINGS COME UP! D: I AM MORTIFIED AND CRYING IN A CORNER NOW. Mommy....... crying crying crying crying gonk gonk gonk gonk gonk gonk crying crying crying

((lets see....))
I felt my organs twist and slide over their own slimy skins, I felt my bones tear from the muscles as the rippled into their new forms and positions. My neck, my back, my shoulder, all at once were tearing and sliding and creating new shape. Eventually after the transformation was complete I found myself to be a pearl-blue Wind dragon. I had a long, snake like body with not arms or legs. My head was narrow and sharp and I had two, long protruding horns behind my brows. I hissed in disgust of my new body, wishing at least to have legs.
I watched my friend change into a different shape, and although her form now resembled that of an old and quiet dragon I new her scent well enough to now this body contained her Icewind spirit.

Giz was pushed out of the darkness and back into his body. He stood up and looked down at his back paws. He was still in the same form as in the dark.

((Hmmm.... I was thinking out but if you wanted to we could make the effects of the darkness slightly different... Like have the effects take a longer time or have her body constantly changing form....))
I shot from the darkness with amazing speed. Speed, of course, of a wind dragon. I felt terrible with my strange form but I knew for a fact changing my body was doing more than I thought it would. For instance, my speed was incredible, my eyes exceptional, and my knowledge became vast. So vast, in fact, that I saw little point of being near the poison that infected the earth, this darkness, since the island was now lost to the disease.
I felt stunned yet showed no sign of emotion, shocked that my friend had changed, and was continuing to.

((Do whatever you want with your character! It is yours! )) Giz laughed at the dragon as it sped around. Giz had completely forgotten about the strange beast behind him, for it had planted a seed of itself in his body when he was changing. He turned but saw no beast, only normal rats skittering about on all fours.
