Min patted Storm's neck when he came down from the rear and said softly, "Come on boy." She turned him in a circle and then trotted him over to the others, pulling him to a stop on the other side of Pancake. "He never usually acts like this," she said looking at the other two.
Storm looked over to Pancake and Majestad and said questioningly, "Didn't do what Pancake?"

Majestad snorted and answered for her, her mane still in his mouth. "She says she didn't start this little fight here....but she did." He said, matter-of-factly.He continued lightly tugging on her mane.
Vivian nodded in agreement with Min. "Yeah, I know what you mean, Majestad's never like this either...But that's what you get when you own a stallion.." she said, patting his neck.

Storm snorted and reached over to n** the mare, and then looked away like he didn't do anything.
Min laughed, "Yeah. Well, maybe he is just starting, this is how his daddy used to act when he was this age." She looked down at him and then laughed when she saw him looking away like he didn't do anything.

Majestad let go of Pancake's mane and squealed threateningly. He wasn't happy Storm had done that. He saw Sadie bare her teeth at the other stallion, Majestad and the dog were very protective of each other.
Vivian looked down at Majestad, frowing. "Hey you! Cut it out!" She yelled at him. He swiveled his head around and touched his nose to her foot in apology. She reached down, sighing, and patted him. "No need to get so defensive, silly.."

Pancake nipped back at Storm. She saw him n** her. Pancake nipped playfully back between Majestad"s ears. "Its alright Majestad. Strom was just playing." Pancake snorted when she saw what happened when Majestad was protecting her. Spike barked and bared his teeth. Ginger fur quinced up.
"It looks like they really like each other. Alot of stallions get very aggresive over a mare." Amy said as she stroked Pancake. "Cmon lets get going." Amy smiled then moved Pancake into a trot. "Hey you know where hosting a show again this year? Western and English." Amy said happily. She loved competing and her parents had hosted a show every year.

Min looked over at Amy as Storm trotted up along side them and then said, "I didn't know that. Well, Storm will like that, he loves competions and so do I. Which might explain some of his behavior."
Storm looked back at the other stallion and nodded his head and then said like the southern gentleman he was raised to be , "I was only playing with this fine lady."

Amy smiled. "Who doesn't?" Amy said. "Competeing id soo fun even if you don't win. Pancake loves it also."
Pancake smiled. The 2 stallions where really fine gentleman like all stallions should be.

Majestad snorted, pawing at the ground and arching his graceful neck. "I'm sorry, Storm, I'm not usually around other stallions, and when I am, I get defensive. Forgive my outburst." He said, inclining his head to the other stallion. Storm may have been southern, but Majestad's bloodline ran pure through Spain, hence his graceful dressage movement and gentleman-like personality. Sadie held a defensive stance and the hair on her back and neck bristled as she continued growling at Spike and Ginger. Her breed was bred to hunt and take down lions, she wasn't afraid to take on another dog and a cat.
Vivian smiled. "I love competing! There will be dressage and western competition right?" She asked, smiling. She looked down at Sadie and rolled her eyes. "Sadie! Knock it off!" She said, clapping her hands loudly. The dog looked up with inquisitive eyes and tilted her head to one side, but did not move out of her position. If Spike came after her, she would be ready.

Pancake smiled and nuzzled Majestad. She liked both stallions. Both were very gentleman like.
"You bet yeah. Will be competeing against one of the nasty teams ever. The Blood Halks. They always cheat no mater what." Amy said.

Majestad smiled. He was glad Pancake wasn't holding a grudge against him for getting hot-tempered with Storm. He heard what Amy was saying and flicked his ears back to listen. He smiled when she said they would be up against the toughest team and they were cheaters and he held his head up high.
Vivian swished her hair behind her shoudlers, smiling. "Trust me, Majestad and I most definetly have dressage in the bag, and maybe Western Pleasure. I did tell you we were the reigning National Dressage Champs right? And we've almost secured a Western Pleasure title. He's not built for barrels, but he dominates the Pleasure ring almost as much as he does the dressage ring." She said proudly. She wasn't one to brag, but she was proud of her well-earned title. It hadn't been easy taking it: alot of sweat and blood had gone into it, and she wasn't going to lose to cheaters. She then smiled again, but blushed a little bit. "Sorry if I sound too over-proud. I'm just confident.." She said, laughing lightly.

Storm nodded his head at the other stallion, "It is fine," he said. He then turned his head to watch as Jasper lowered his body to the ground, ready to spring. Storm stopped, knowing what the cat was about to do, just as the cat took off running at full speed past the dogs and Ginger, and lept onto the stallion's back, wanting to come along.
She smiled and urged Storm to move on once the cat jumped on and climbed into her lap, she stroked the tabby with her free hand as she said, "I know Storm and I will have the barrel racing and other western events dow, no problem." She reached down and patted his neck, "Isn't that right boy?" She smiled when he nodded his head and wickered in agreement.

Amy smiled. She was glad the 2 where very confident but this was a very tough team and they wouldn't let anything get in their way. "Barrel racing, Pole Bending and Roping is what Pancake is good at. This year where trying for the show jumping event. We've been practicing all year." Amy said as she patted the appy mare. "Oh and we have some pretty bossy and mean girls at the stable but just don't let them get to you." Amy said.
Pancake whinnied happily. "Just don't get to over confident guys. You never have been against these guys. There tough , trust me." Pancake snorted.

Vivian smiled. "Awsome! Hey, later we all need to get into the ring and show each other what we've all got. That'll give us a good insight into what needs improvement and what's perfected before the show. We should also try and see how good the other team is as well. Eh, don't worry, I won't let 'em get to me." She said, patting Majestad's neck. He snorted and arched his neck in reponse.
Majestad smiled at Pancake. "I'm not overconfident....Just confident enough. I'll bet you they've never been up against a national dressage champion though have they? Trust me, it wasn't play getting to where I am now...Hard work and practice makes perfect, right?" He said, shaking his head. He sighed. "I hope I don't sound like I'm bragging...Stop me if I do." He said a bit sheepishly. He didn't want to sound like a pompous prat of a stallion.

"Sounds good!" Amy said. "Hey, how about we kick it up anotch huh? The horses could use a good gallop!" She grinned as Pancake whinnied and bobbed her head in reponse.
Pancake giggled. "Your not bragging, your just....umm confident." Pancake smiled as she nuzzled his shoulder. "And your right. Practice makes perfect and they've been against national jumping champions, and barrel racing. Also, roping and poleing. Maybe dreassage but not sure. They have this really amazing boy and his horse on the team who could dressage like mad. I'm sure you'll be able to win the dressage ring in a flash." Pancake smiled. She then leaped into a gallop at Amy's command.
