The creature broke into a strange, clanky, jerky jog as Hawk raised his sword. It was closing the distance at less than a sprint, but still quicker than the previous ones he saw as the blade of energy appeared in the sky.
And, lo and behold, strangely enough, as it zoomed out towards him, he shifted. Barely a small thing. But rather striking the head, it burned off his left arm, just below the shoulder. And it was still coming towards him.
It'd be on him in about 2 seconds.

That thing sure did moved fast and realizing this, once the first attack seared of the left arm of the robot unnoticeably, Hawk swiftly as possible lifted the Phoenix blade up towards the head as his wings pushed against the snow helping Hawk attempt to to drive his sword right between the creatures eyes.
(I'm not exactly sure when but I'm going to have to leave soon.)

((I'll be closing down shop soon.))
This one had been through Swordings already. And it was determined to make this creature work for his kill. As it came in, and that sword came up, so did the zombiebot's right arm, the only one remaining. It came in and up, using the forearm to make contact with the blade.
It pushed it up and aside at the last minute. Not by much, but by enough, sending the sword glancing off the braincase with a nice little gouge in it. But it appeared not to be fatal to the creature.
It pressed in, continuing to push the blade up with its arm, the clawed hand reaching for Hawk's throat.

Not to much surprise his plan didn't work, after all he had been pretty unlucky as well as really out of it today. There was no way hawk was going to let these mis fortunate events kill him, not if he could help it. As the clawed fingers reached for his neck Hawk slid his blade across the robots arm, where it was resting, towards where the arm ended and the hand/claw began. Refocusing his energy into the blade he hoped that joint/wrist that he aimed for was a much weaker spot, and if it was he would attempt to melt through it cutting off the hand in which he would follow up smashing into the droids head before him.
( I am really out of it today.)

( Opaj gave me the go ahead to move on so I'ma finish this squabble... -if thats a word-)
The only smart thing Hawk did since he landed was deciding to cut the robot from the wrist, and with out much delay he followed through by slicing through the skeletons’ dome short circuiting it. Pushing the loose-jaw zombie off of him Hawk took another deep breath leaning back on his wings feeling the pain shoot up from his legs where the claws got him. Stretching he hurried to begin his healing process that involved more than just resting. As an elementalist the hunter found himself learning new useful techniques everyday, one of them being the Materialization skill. Studying the human anatomy Hawk realized what he, himself, was made out of. Obtaining this knowledge he was able, by manipulating the earth and water elements, he was able to pick himself apart mentally, atom by atom, as well as put himself back together which he was doing right now. Digging into the snow until he found the cold dirt surface he telekinetically made the earthen particles rise and swirl around his wounds having his tissues quickly reform.

After a few minutes his legs were as good as new Hawk took no time to get to his feet patting himself down. Glancing at the dead robot next to his feet, and the others the laid in pieces nearby he decided to walk on the other side of the path not wanting anymore mishaps. Striding over to the left bank he proceeds towards the southwest trail where he saw the snowmobiles tracks originally. Then flashes off red lights painted the murky sky. That’s when he notice the swirling cloud mass hovering ahead, where Hawk assumed the town of Frostchild was. If it didn’t get any weirder Hawk rose an eyebrow when black smoky tendrils breeched through the nimbus and touched down into the city. “What the…” Hawk continued to march along the pass thinking. “What am I doing here?” not for the last time as he cornered the Snowdrift heading towards…

And still no zombies. Even the ones they had fought were gone. What in the hell was going on? But she couldn't think about that now. She moved through the path and was still cold, despite Kael's jacket.
And there were the other snowmobiles. Minus Sam's of course, but that didn't mean she couldn't jury rig one of the others. She climbed aboard just as an earthquake rattled the ground, making Sam thankful that the snowmobiles were heavy. But she had a feeling it was going to get worse.

And the earth began sinking?
Fudge...
Sam wasn't sure what to do. But she watched the sky...and watched the sky fall so to speak...onto the Palace dome. And the earth shook more and continued sinking. One of the snowmobiles fell along with it, ruined already. Everyone was going to have to ride double. If everyone even made it all back.

Caesar came from the hovels, following a suddenly disappeared guide.
Well, that was great. He immediately began to scour the area, in theory there were a decent number of vehicles scattered around here. He wasn't particularly quiet about it.
Neither was he quiet when he found the pair abandoned by Mozz and Gambion in the connecting pathway to the Hovels. He would wait to see if there was anyone else willing to go on the voyage home; but didn't expect much. As soon as the shaking got any worse, he'd be gone.
((Aaaand that's an evening. Stealth'd and out.))

Lah came f~lyiiiiing out of the Hovels, and actually, literally skidded to a stop beside his snowmobile. But the ground was icy, so he slipped to a stop beside his transportation, twisting his body to the sideto avoid landing on Aiolos and instead slamming down on his arm. Which was presently black and blue, just like most of him, due to standing up in a barrage of rocks.
So, with little but a hiss coming out of his mouth, he'd clamber to his feet and lay Aiolos on the snowmobile, before snagging his jacket and pulling it over him, followed immediately by pretty much climbing into his snow pants.
"Oh god, warmth, warm..." He sighed, before climbing onto his vehicle and turning it around, with Aiolos on the back pretty much draped over him. He was just waiting to see if anyone else that wasn't there was going to arrive before s**t got any worse.
Then he was going to get out of here.

Lah glanced over to the other person who hadn't been stuck in stealth, and he sighed, adjusting the KO'd man on his back ((with apologies to Oliveman, but it was just easier to RP that way)) and leaning forward on his snowmobile, revving the engine just a bit.
Seemed like Sam was the only non-stealth person there, so he'd pitch a proposal at her, since the earthquakes were still rocking the city. "Might be a good idea to back off a bit, eh? The snowmobiles are here, other people can get them, but safe better than sorry right?"
Not much enthusiasm in his voice; he just sounded drained.

And Sam just watched as everyone arrived and then left again, her eyes never being taken off the city. The radio had been shut off, she couldn't bear to hear the silence she believed would be there.
God, it was depressing and her mind wouldn't stop working. Everyone was dead, she was convinced. She did at least have the mind to let them know that Browning Enterprises would take care of everything when they got back, but she still didn't leave her seat or take her eyes off the city.

Well...
Sam and Joseph were pretty much the closest thing he could have to employers here, so as long as the earthquakes didn't threaten to cave in the Residences he could wait beside her. And pull her away if he had to.
Lah just didn't want someone else wandering off to die in that city. There'd been too much of that already, and watching Bryant just sacrifice himself to nothing had been rather hard to walk away from, considering the look in his eyes he had gotten from the man.
But he wasn't going to mention anything right now. Right now was not the time for that sort of thing.

And, in the second double post of the evening, Lah would clamber off of his snowmobile and wander over beside Sam, nudging her slightly. It'd been too long for him to be comfortable sitting around, all things considered, and he didn't want any comrades getting sucked down into the earth by some errant crack in the ice.
"Hey, uh... We should really get going." He wandered just a little bit further forward, to try and get a look at her face. If she didn't respond to the nudge and soft-spoken words, being able to read her would be good.

Her eyes barely looked away, but her ground in training kicked in barely. "I said that BE will take care of everyone once they get back to Barton. That included paychecks." Her voice was dry, bare of all emotion and she turned her attention back to the city that was all but sunk now and would probably take some of the landscape with it soon.
"I'm staying here until they all come out." Blood seeped down one side of her head from the wounds she had sustained there, the claw marks would be a while in healing and the jacket...well, the jacket was new. Not in general, but to her. It didn't look like anything she would have worn normally, but she'd fight before she gave it up even though it didn't really stop the cold from seeping in.
