-At what age did you start having an interest in Stephen King? Well, my mom's been an SK fan for, like, her whole life. She used to read 'It' to me when I was a baby as a bed time story. 'It' was also the first SK movie I ever saw, and what caused my deepseated fear of clowns, the dark, and sewers. I read my first SK book (Surprise, it was 'It') in my Junior Year of High School cause it was one of the available books to do a report or something on. Been hooked since.
-What was your first Stephen King book? 'It'
-Have you ever met him? I wish...

I was 13 when I started reading SK books. My first book was Eyes of the Dragon. I wish I could meet him and pick his creative mind.

Hi everyone smile
I can't remember exactly how old I was, I know I was young though.. before Jr. High.
I honestly can't remember which was my first book either lol I know thats terrible, but my childhood is pretty foggy.
Been to Bangor and surrounding area a few times but was never lucky enough to run into him.

I was 16 when i read Dreamcatcher. I was interested in through his movies that my friends made me watch. I'm in the middle of Nightmares & Dreamscapes, which is a collection of a bunch of his short stories. I plan of reading IT next. Then after that The Mist.. or even if i can get my hands on Red Rose. I heard he lives in Florida and Maine.. so maybe who knows i could meet him, i live in Florida.^_^. But until then.. I'm going to contiue reading.

I was 12 when I watched Children of the Corn, Amish people still freak me out. Cujo was my first and will always own a place in my nightmares. I was still 12. Stephen King has a way of creeping my mind in a manner no other reader has been able to accomplish. Take Needful Things for example, he's just talking, telling me about the townsfolk, and then bam he's got me invested in their lives and the hairs on the back of my neck are already beginning to tingle. How does he do it? I have read most of his books, I own over 40 of his hardcovers and around 10 of his paperbacks (I give away the paperbacks when I get them in hardcover) and will I read him until I die. Long Live Stephen King, may he write a thousand more!

I first started getting into Stephen King when I was about 4 or 5. My grandma would read his stories to me all the time. Cycle of the Werewolf was my first one. Ever met him? I wish!
