Well... there is Easter, which currently celebrates the rebirth of Jesus...
Of course, Easter wasn't exactly originally that either... But then again, what Christian holiday is? Anywho.
So where as Easter was originally celebrating Ēaster/Ēostre/Ēastre/Ostern/Ēostur... Or... spring, really... or passover/pascha... whatever... It's now celebrating the rebirth of Jesus...
Oi, too much to get into...
Meh... Anyway... and... I was born on 'Good Friday'/'Great Friday'/'Holy Friday'/'Day of Christs Suffering'/'Long Friday'... which is the friday before easter on which they apparently crucified Jesus. So... the day of which they celebrate the death and crucifixion of Jesus.
I think. To tell the truth, I'm not Christian and really don't know all that much about any of it. But I'm sure Loke the WikiBoi does.

im afraid im not a strong rp'er so some patience is required but i will try and keep up with you all.
also i havent quite figured all my backstory or powers

Mijin, the storyline we talked about will fit in just fine for the kind of overblown drama this guild thrives on, so dont worry smile
And with the exception of only one or two, nearly EVERYONE here started off as less confident rp-ers and nearly all of us are now recognised as elites. As long as you listen to fair cionstructive criticism when its needed, show at least a MARGINAL tolerance for grammer and dont mind explaining things people may not have understood, it'll be fine smile We PLAY monsters, but most of the guild are actually rather nice OOC xd

The holidays are coming! I awoke one day and looked outside my window to see almost permanent darkness that had loomed over every edge of the horizon. The landscape was distressed, distorted and destroyed at every angle. Buildings, bridges and any other evidence of man were all decayed. As I walked down the streets I heard the faint sound of some one walking. I yelled out, "Hello, are you okay?!" and received no response. So I began walking toward the footsteps, and as I came closer, the footsteps grew louder... and faster. As I turned the corner I saw an grossly disfigured person hissing and growling. He chased me a few blocks, leading me into my old neighborhood. I ran inside my mother's old house where she was lying on the couch with bright red eyes. When I told her what had happened she simply said, "You're movin' in with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air!" I begged and pleaded with her the other day, but she packed my suitcase and sent me on my way. She gave me a kiss and she gave me my ticket, I put my walkman on and said, "I might as well kick it!" First class, yo! This is bad, drinking orange juice out of a champagne glass? Is this what the people of Bel-Air live like? Hmm, this might be alright! I whistled for a cab, and when it came near the license plate said "FRESH" and it had a dice in the mirror. If anything, I could say that this cab was rare, but I thought "Nah, forget it; yo, holmes! To Bel-Air!" I pulled up to the house at about seven, or eight, and I yelled to the cabbie, "Yo, holmes, smell you later!" Looked at my kingdom, I was finally there to sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel-Air.

Mijin, Roan is absolutely correct. I recall among my first couple of days on Gaia, I actually went into a thread in commerce, and posted 'ASL?'....Thats right...all of 15 or so, and straight out of yahoo chat rooms. You can only imagine the quality of my posts IC. I seem to recall Dagoth as well was abit on the n00b side once, just like I was. So dont worry.
Your character, and mine, will get along SWIMMINGLY...In the sense Corbin will want to take a scalpal to Cassius...xP
Corbin does after all own a few shards of the spear of destiny/lance of Longinus.

I started rp-ing on MSN chatrooms aged about 14. Thats right folks... a DECADE ago. Bad, huh?
Gaia was the leap forward I needed I guess, and the people I have met and learnt WITH and helped to improve with make it all worthwhile still. You'll be just fine Mijin smile Looking forward to seeing you this weekend mate, though my costume wnt be great.
Still, I get the Ortus re-inked this weekend, and I wanna show em off ^^
