dunno. I just like it. perhaps the fact in sparring i have yet to be beat with them? Eh. its a throwable item, that is capable of stabing, blocking, and probably most importantly the fact that the sai makes the katana near useless.

You're thinking of Jutte now. Same principal, but different design. That was designed for combat.
A sai used to be a farm tool used to plant seeds. It was to speed things up. Make three holes instead of one.

I wonder what the BoV looks like around time of Episode III. Theta changes his armor, as seen in the personel file, but what about everyone else?

theta gets a new suit simply because his snaps in half. I don't know the excuse for the rest of yall, since you wanted to go "custom" on everything.
Not to mention, Omega's mechanical suit just seems a bit over the top, considering they could just airlift an AT-Xt or something in.

Nospai Deathous from what i understand, it's powered armor... his armor is powered, then he also has a mech. Which is what he's in currently, adn what stomps around. Read back on Kamino again. Edit: Page 25

thanks for the complements, guys. i realize i will need to totally redesign omega's armor. so, the rhaxus pic goes to gamma...makes more sense anyway. minor changes due to stealth armor...  which do you prefer? with or without camo?
