Want to make Lokapele a happy kitty for Christmas?

Hehe. I think we may end up having our little ones quite close to one another. X3 At least it'll be over soon enough and you can start to heal from all the back and hip pains. ^^;

Texas is stupid. XP Which part are you in now? I was living in Grapevine, not too far from the DFW area, but now I'm in TN and staying for now. >>

If it's on the SciFi channel, of course it'd be cheesy. XP Most shows on there are. x.x Though I am interested now... XD

If the choice in '08 is between Rudy and Hillary, "values voters" must do the Christian thing and choose Hillary. Of course, I think all religion is nuts, but at least she practices it the way Jesus suggested: privately; y'know, like a d**k Cheney energy meeting. Plus, she's raised an admirable daughter, while Rudy's kids couldn't hate him more if they were New York City firefighters. And let's not forget, Hillary didn't commit adultery. Her husband did, and afterwards she did the Christian thing and forgave him.... And then she had a GPS unit implanted in his p***s, but the important thing is she forgave him!

Now, I bring all this up because this weekend in Washington is the "Values Voters Convention." Three days of peace, love and hypocrisy: where the Republican frontrunners will spend the week kissing the asses of 2,000 social conservatives who despise liberals, homosexuals, Muslims, Mexicans and Nobel Prize winners, who believe the sound of a condom wrapper being opened makes angels die. It's kind of like a "Star Trek" convention, only the virgins are angry, and they think outer space is just a theory. So, Ann Coulter, if you've got any more f*****t jokes, this is the room for you.

But, here's something I learned while indulging one of my traditional values: reading. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the states with the most conservative Christians have the highest rates of divorce, the highest teen pregnancy rates, and the highest obesity levels. Yeah, they're fat, knocked up, and not talking to each other, but at least they put homosexuality back where it belongs: in the airport men's room. Now, I know what you "values voters" are saying right now: "Why would we listen to you, Jer? You're a bachelor from heathen New York! What do you know about family values?" Well, I know enough not to get married and live in Kansas.

I also know that if you can look at the war in Iraq, the melting environments, and the descent of America into "idiocracy," and still think our biggest problems are boobies during the Super Bowl, and the "war on Christmas," then you don't have values. You have issues. If you had "values," you'd draw the line at torture, but a startling number of people who call themselves Christians don't. And I'm pretty sure if you asked, "What would Jesus veto," it wouldn't be health care for sick kids. Why, it's almost like "values voters" don't really believe Jesus was right about anything.

"Jesus Christ: wrong on gays, wrong on taxes, wrong on torture, and wrong for America."

Religion and Politics shouldn't be mixed full stop.
Too many people do something political and claim to do it in the name of 'god'. It's ridiculous.
If you believe in god, why don't you just start believing in the fairies at the bottom of your garden? It's all the same nonsense.

Thanks Mijin, but my hands are fine... My lungs tried to burst out my chest though. You need a fog horn and a rope to get around her room.

He also started saying something about how one of his legs was unnaturally hairier than the other O.O help me, I'm dating a yeti! gonk

Lokapele: I wasn't commenting on Lokes post, I was commenting on the subject of Politics and Religion in general
as Mijin mentioned how he hated both subjects, as well as cleaning neutral ,
and stating that Religion and Politics don't mix, and should be kept as far away from each other as possible..

Lol- You guys get more insane by the day. >_____> It makes me wonder if Im sane, because I sit and I laugh out loud about it. ._.; Im all like. "HAHA. THATS FUNNY" and people kind of blankly stare at me. I feel like a freak.. >_<, but then I continue laughing when Im done realizing they are staring at me. O_O;

xD
Anyhoo.

I have this major dilema (SP?), I want to move back to NC. We have a place waiting that is paid for, basically.... NO RENT. I would only pay for electric and that's easy. Also, a car awaits us, a 1995 blazer, fully loaded. No payments, already paid for. PLUS Chris would get to keep his pickup. . . So, we would like.. insto save lots of moolah. Now, it all sounds very good, yes? His father is actually trying to help us out. Im 7 months preggers and Im having painfully strong contractions, it would mean I would have to travel long distance. Yes, long distance.

My mom, whom called me and cursed me because I told her finally that I want to go back there, threatened to never help me again and all this other bull, never call me again, never come see her Granddaughter's (all three) ever again and it wouldnt bother her, yadda. . . If I stay in texas, she wants to get a place, we would have to pay her rent and our own electric. Then we would not get a car we would still have the pickup but nothing more ....But she wants to help us... yadda.

I have not even been able to buy the crib for the babies or even carseats. I need a friggin car to even take the babies home in.

Im at a crossroads.... Go back to NC or stay in Texas? What do you think is better?

Sigh. And please, be honest.. and help me.. seriously. Im so tired of fretting and worrying...

I don't think you're suppose to travel that far after the second trimester and your in the third now... >>

I think the move to NC would be better for you though, the rent money you'd save would help you get the cribs and carseats... I wouldn't worry about your mom, she's just (Probably) hurt and upset at the thought of you wanted to leave her and she wouldn't get to see them as much as she'd want to... and hoping the threat would scare you into staying? That's the way I see it at least... And the blazer should be big enough for you to travel in with all of the kiddos and your boy. I'd suggest going to your OB though... ask her/him if they believe it would be save for you to travel so far while pregnant. Doctor knows-... well... doctors are SUPPOSE to know what's best. XP
