The amount of effort you put into an RP will net you a proportional amount of fun.
So yes. You wanna make a good RP, you will need to put effort into it.

I know someone who made a simple star wars rp. It didn't even make sense, Tatooine,Coruscant,and Naboo had a war with each other confused ?

The RP was so successful, it produced a sequel with hundreds of pages worth of RP.
I'm not kidding...The first one ended at page 198.But the sequel does have 200+ pages worth of role play and surprisingly the thread is still active.
