Well, each of our rp's varies in its theme, some allow force users, some don't, we usually like things to keep a canon feel, AE, not too far expanded from the realm of of realty in its themes as they apply in Star Wars. Though some of our Rps are pretty Fanon.
Just be sure to check out the Stormtroopers Guide and grasp the rules.
