What? What was going on? Why was Eira saying my name? Did something happen to me that I didn't see? Is something terribly wrong with me? Alice looked at Eira with wide eyes. "Is something wrong?" Sooner than later, Alice noticed that the lyrics from the song were almost the words that Eira was singing to. "Oh. My bad. I thought something was wrong since you were saying my name." Alice kind of bit her lips as she looked away embarrassed because she just appeared to have made herself looked a bit like an idiot. Great.Alice had arrived at Prom with this dress, these shoes, with a pair of black tights and a matching headband.

Raja Text to Simply: No, I m hear. I think I C U. Bee write thar. Darren fumbled with the phone before slipping away from his sister and the demon boil and headed right toward Simply. Blinking at her beard.... and rather tussled appearance, he opened his mouth to speak - but instead grabbed a drink and knocked it back. The drink had been quite bubbly which was fine - not the strangest thing he'd ever had before... That was until his face started to itch, scratching at it until a nice full beard grew almost instantly. Blinking a bit, he tugged at the black and neon green hair, wincing as it hurt. "What the Jack..." Darren grunted, before raising a brow at Simply. "... At least we match, OH! What happened to your dress! Can I help fix it?"

She tugged her phone out as it buzzed, still toying with the odd bistly hairs as she read it. "Well if he saw me then-" She tilted her head a bit curious why he wouldn't have come over to begin with, still he did show up shortly after. So all was right in the world and she beamed happily at him.
Which was quickly replaced with shock as he grew a beard of his own. "Santaitis is really contagious!" Yes, her mind was utterly blown by this concept. Darren had grown a beard just by standing near her.
Oh my goodness gosh.
"I fought with a giant Santa and then it blew up and got gooped up and rocks were falling!" She nodded vigorously the whole time as she explained this. "IT WAS A LOT OF FUN!" She forgot to mention that over five student were eaten in the process. "we got to kick it's butt you know." But it had really gotten her thirsty running around and fighting with things. So perhaps another drink?
...this one was a bit bitter. But at least it had more flavor. Actually it was BOLD. Yes, definitely the word for her. "And THAT! Darren, is why it was fun!" She stated, lifting a hand in the air with flourish as she did. Hey, her glitter was back in full force. Honestly, she was acting like every spotlight was on her, all four and a half feet of booming size.

Darrren watched her for a moment as he couldn't help but laugh as she explained where she'd run off to. Okay - a giant santa... That was... New. Still, he could think of worse things to do with your time he supposed. He grabbed another drink and knocked it back - still thirsty from all his running around to hide from Karaoke and the earlier dance mob and not quite stalking his sister. This next drink was really bland, blinking as he looked at it but finished it anyway. He went to open his mouth to reply to simply - but nothing came out. Looking at his hands he frowned as they were without color. He motioned at his throat and mouth to Simply - but no matter what he did no sound came out. Well this was awkward. Raja She's bold and he's a mime - this is going well!

After snapping a few more pictures, the baku finally lowered the camera and scanned her surroundings more intently. Now then, this was prom! What was the point of coming if she didn't socialize a little? First thing's first, maybe she could find Shun and Mitsu and--
--...or not. Xiu visibly flinched in surprise at the tap on the shoulder, only to tense up slightly when she realized that she recognized that voice. Slowly, she turned to face the vampire with a wary expression, her mind instantly flashing back to last year's prom.
A quick glance around determined that neither Vaith or Shun--her male best friend or big bro--were present in the immediate area. She wasn't sure whether this came as a relief (as that meant there wouldn't be any glaring) or as a concern. After a moment of thought, she took a deep breath and offered the boil a pleasant smile. "Hi, Lou! Having fun?" There was a beat of silence, and then she rubbed the back of her head thoughtfully. "As for a dance, well..."

How could he say no to please? Quite easily actually. Perhaps it was because he was used to such requests at home. TK laughed at Eira's play on the lyrics. He pursed his lips, but eventually stepped toward the two again, though he had yet to begin actually dancing. He shook his head at Alice. "I am afraid I do not dance." Which was a half lie. He knew how to slow dance or do traditional Japanese dance, but anything else felt too awkward for him. "How about I get drinks?" He offered.

Lou couldn't say he didn't expect the wariness. It was a normal greeting from the baku. That didn't stop his grin from fading back to a curious smile, though. "Yep. Having a tittastic time." Whoops. "I mean fantastic." He didn't seem too off put by the slip up. Couldn't take it back now.
The hesitation on her part earned the ghoul an eyebrow raise. "Really? You're gonna turn me down 2 years in a row? That's not very nice of you..." Cue fake pout.
"Maybe if I asked you a different way." The boil turned around momentarily, only to jump back around enthusiastically. "Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy! So here's my hand, lets dance maybe?" The boil extended his hand with hopeful eyes. Maybe if he made a big enough fool of himself, she'd accept to keep from being embarrassed further.

She beamed happily at him seeming to get it. Though as he drank it seemed like Darren was losing some color. And then he tried to say something and nothing came out. He merely waved his hands gesturing at himself a bit. "WHAT?" Because that was totally going to help as her voice called out loudly. She tapped her chin thoughtfully before lifting both hands in the air. "SPEAK. UP." Even when she wasn't looking to shout it felt like she was with the echo her voice seemed to have.
Really, he should have more sense of self. More sense of showing off how cool he was. Or maybe... just try another drink... actually they were kind of tasty and seemed to be doing something odd. Nah, they were just tasty... "HAVE ANOTHER IF YOU'RE PARCHED?" She said with a broad smile, shoving another drink at the boil with a flourish before downing another of her own...
And like magic, the beard she was still twirling a finger around vanished along with the fizzly concoction. Rather, as it vanished there was a 'POIT' noise from nowhere and she blinked a bit confused. She began looking around for the source, which seemed to bring along a weird wooshing noise as her head bobbed to and fro. "OH GEE GOLLY GOSH WHAT?" There was a rather comical display of her waving her arms about in the most grand fashion possible along with a few weird noises to accompany the hops and bounces. Everything she did seemed to make noise now.

There was the sound of static followed by a screech on the megaphone:"ATTENTION, PROMETEERS!There will be a dance competition held within the Big Top Tent soon, so gather up your partners and make your way over there immediately if you wish to sign up!Good looking couples only. The skimpier the outfits the bet---..." -The voice suddenly cuts off, and there sounds to be a little bit of muffled discussion shortly after this, the microphone obviously being covered with a hand. There is another loud screeching of the microphone, before a much more un-gnomelike voice rings out, his voice sounding slightly flustered- "Anybody can join! Not just couples, but singles as well. Any type of outfit, any type of...er...phyiscal...attraction?" A certain zomboils voice, which hasn't been heard all night until now, stumbles over that last part. It is just a good thing the drink he had been taking all night to quell his voice wore just in time for him to interrupt... "Anyways, thanks! I hope to see you all there." The microphone goes off again with a dull thud, and the music continues on as though nothing had happened. At 1pm PST, signups will be held in the main event/big top thread for a dance competition! You will be able to sign up as a single or as a couple! Singles will be judged separately from the couples so that there will be a winner in each category!. THE DANCE COMPETITION ITSELF WILL BEGIN AT 3PM PST. AGAIN, SIGN UPS ARE AT 1PM!

Well. He came back. Not in the way she was expecting, but he did come back. Alice looked at TK coming back to join the small group that had formed between the three students. When TK had said that he didn't dance, she for once could tell that what he was saying was not true. It was more of the tone that he was saying the words that didn't sound convincing. But she knew that if she pointed that out, that it would be rude to point out, so she kept it to herself. She nodded back. "You do not dance? That makes two of us then," she replied. "But drinks might be in order."Alice had arrived at Prom with this dress, these shoes, with a pair of black tights and a matching headband.

 She gave a laugh and gave Alice a pat on the shoulder. "I didn't mean to alarm you.~" Eira stopped for a moment, looking around to see the announcer called for some dance competition. There was no way any of them could win something like that it was probably time to take a breather anyway. “No worries, I guess we can all take a break anyway. I’m sure there are tables or games somewhere.” She shrugged a bit, as she started to push through people to get off the dance floor. Even though dancing wasn’t their strongest suit it was nice for time being.

At the bump he turns his eyes down to Rosy and leans a little to listen to her as she speaks, snorting at the agreement. Spinar looks to the outstretched and hand smirks before slapping it in a five and passing up holding it, "games are on the way might as well" he replies before shrugging. Anything would be better than being in here at the moment especially since people were already hitting the stage to sing and none of them were really any good in his opinion.
Given she didn't bother to explain herself Spinar seen it as she shrugged the topic off and got a little more annoyed. Moving past Rosy with a flick of her curls he heads out of the tent and towards the midway knowing the other would likely be on his heels, likely. While heading out he moved a hand into his pocket to thumb over the cellphone inside, still curious as to what was the deal with it.

Are you all having FUN TONIGHT?" He waited a moment for the appropriate responses before continuing, " As you all probably know, you're hearin' the sultry voice of the Rat Man, from Radio Amity, 66.6 - NOW! I aint seen nearly enough dancing out there, folks! So I want you all to couple up! Grab a partner, everyone! We're gonna' have a good ol' fashion DANCE OFF! ARE YOU ALL READY?" As he spoke, a pair of rats near his feet illustrated finding a partner and giving each other a twirl. " One of you should LEAD, remember, and the other FOLLOWS. Otherwise you'll be all over the place. NOW PARTNER UP LADIES AND GENTS! And my associate Mr. Alex-the-Mime here," And he gestured to the glowering zomboil pretending to be in a box just off to the side of the stage, " Will determine a winner through a series of arduous TESTS! Signups start now, just go fill you and your partner's names on the list over yonder.For the WINNERS of the competition, well, there's somethin' very special! He had seen her smile widen as he'd wailed along with the strangely captivating song, and although West was normally kind of horrible at keeping a straight face when he was feeling devious, he'd had no trouble doing so on stage. It most likely had something to do with how intently he had been concentrating on executing the perfect series of piercing screeches. Or maybe he was just that pissed that he'd been made to sing. Nah, probably not.
Once he was back at her side, however, it became much harder to keep up appearances. He didn't look at her as she kissed his cheek, but he relented soon enough.
"Should I?" he replied, brushing his fingers against her gloved wrist. "Does my screamin' go good with yer skelecows?" He chuckled as the music started up again. "So. What you wanna do now?" One thing was for sure, he needed to get out of this tent before anyone else tried to make him sing.
West took Levi's hand and led her from the dance floor, just moments before the competition was announced. They would be back.
