Before leaving, Nick checked up on his egg. Two more lights had yet to light up. "Don't hatch while I'm out!" he grinned, approaching Rex. "Whenever you're ready." he said.

Rex walked through the portal, appearing in Oreburgh City. "Much bigger than I remembered." Rex said, looking around.

"Hey, Rex. Check it out." Nick approached one of the geothermal pipes that were scattered all over the Sinnoh region. He stuck his head in and yelled; "OH MY GOD IT'S EATING ME!" he poked his head back out and laughed.
"That ought to scare some miners." he grinned, looking around the town.

"That is so messed up." Rex laughed. "Poor miners will be traumatized." Rex looked for where the museum might be.

"I think I found the museum. It's over there next to the sign labeled 'Orebough Museum." Nick walked in front of Rex and towards the museum.

"Yeah, I do. Let's go." he grinned, changing directions. The Museum was closed anyway, and this saved him the embarrassment of trying to walk into a close establishment. "I just wonder what kinds there will be down there..." he asked himself.

"You never know." Rex shrugged. He walked beside Nick. Squirtle popped out of her Poke Ball, wanting to be carried by Rex. "Oh fine." He laughed, picking up the turtle.

Nick searched through his Poke Balls, finally finding the one containing Buddy. He called out his Gloom to walk beside him. "So, Rex. How are you feeling after that epic battle yesterday" he asked.
