I have plenty of silvers though.

I have 5 eggs and 1 hatchling. My hatchling first. 4 days and 2 hours. Now my eggs. 1 day and 22 hours. 1 day and 1 hour. 3 days and 23 hours. 6 days and 1 hour. Thanks for all the help with my dragons. Got 'em and will run with the eggs to the ER sites which are currently working. Hope we can save them. Thanks, night! biggrin

We need new legislation: (guaranteed to slow some folks down)
Have even one drink and get behind the wheel: Attempted assault (even if you make it to your destination with no incident, you were impaired). Sell the car so they cannot use it again, and chuck their a** in jail.
Drive drunk and have an accident injuring someone: Felonious Assault - property damage is already addressed by existing laws. Sell the car to pay for the injury, chuck their a** in jail.
Kill someone while driving drunk: Murder Two. You knew you were impaired and you drove anyway. Murder two means you didn't deliberately try to murder the *specific* individual(s). No more "good old boys" response of "vehicular manslaughter". Take the car and sell it, and chuck their a** in jail.
Oh, and think about this, if you use a knife or a gun or any weapon to assault someone, they take the weapon *away* from you and put you in jail.
Rape is not sexual, it is an *attack* with a flesh weapon. Let's start taking the "weapons" away.
Robynn, hug your daughter for all of us. We are glad she is ok and will be keeping the injured man in our thoughts and prayers.VERY WELL SAID, ANGEL! 3nodding biggrin Very well said...and the man wasn't injured. He died. The CHP told me it was a murder investigation, so my thoughts are they're going for murder 2. The new law (as of last July) is that ANYONE (not just repeat offenders) can be charged with murder 2 if impaired by alcohol or drugs (legal or illegal). He may plea bargain down the vehicular manslaughter though. We'll see. I am so sorry to hear that a life was lost for the sake of an evening of "entertainment".
We have GOT to stop the wink-wink-nudge-nudge of (mostly) men condoning the grown-up version of "boys will be boys" in excusing any responsibility for actions. There should be NO PLEA BARGAINING for drunk driving. If the penalties are stiff enough, maybe, MAYBE we will get the message across.

Since it's spring, I've got a spring dragon.
