.... wow. I think the system requirements for XP actually give 256 MB as the minimum for running it stable.

RAMs pretty cheap these days. I think you can get 256 in a box of trix...

Yeah, something like that ananda.
Your motherboard has slots for the RAM. I've seen mobo's with anywhere from two to four slots. If you've got two 128 MB chips in your card it will account as having 256 MB of memory, but having two cards is better than one in many cases (what if you only have one card and it breaks for instance).
