Sorry, I was working on the map for the Tides RP. 128 is really bad... are you running Windows XP?

Yeah. I have XP.

.... wow. I think the system requirements for XP actually give 256 MB as the minimum for running it stable.

Scratch that... you can run XP with 64 MB of RAM... eek

It's just recommended to have 256 MB or more.

That wouldn't suprise me at all...*sigh*

On the bright side, the mom of one of my kids is seeing if she can hook me up with a free RAM upgrade. xd

Err, scratch that... They're 128 MB a piece, but they're still yours if needed.

RAMs pretty cheap these days. I think you can get 256 in a box of trix...

Do RAM chips have a cumulative effect? (i.e. two 128 chips= one 256 chip?)

Yeah, something like that ananda.

Your motherboard has slots for the RAM. I've seen mobo's with anywhere from two to four slots. If you've got two 128 MB chips in your card it will account as having 256 MB of memory, but having two cards is better than one in many cases (what if you only have one card and it breaks for instance).
