Why in the world do I keep giving all of my side characters in the 3.5 such normal names?

Let me elaborate on that then...

My character is named Celinnon. She is a Vampire Spawn Fighter/Blackguard (evil paladin of sorts). An interesting name for an interesting character.

Now, she has a minion/cohort that's following her around as well as her summoned Fiendish Servant.

Her Cohort is a cleric of the goddess of beauty and love, and a bishi to boot.
His name is Steve.

Her Fiendish Servant is a large, black, demonic looking horse, smelling of sulfur, and looking not unlike an Italian Heavy Draft Horse.
His name is Barry.
