Des Voh Rodyn We can dance if we want to, we can leave your friends behind. 'Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance, well they're no friends of mine. I say, we can go where we want to a place where they will never find snd we can act like we come from out of this world, leave the real one far behind. And we can dance. -dances- pirate

I know how the Paragon/Renegade meters work.
I was just complaining because this is my " Do everything thoroughly and in the Paragon way. " playthrough that I'll keep for whatever bonuses I can get from it for ME2.

Something weird happened during the Noveria: Espionage assignment besides just the fact it ticked me off about giving me Renegade points for doing it " right. "
I have both Charm and Intimidate maxed, but for some reason, when I got to the final persuasion with the guy, the Intimidate option was grayed out.

The only thing that makes sense to me is that it'd have something to do with the Paragon/Renegade meters themselves, which is kinda BS because what's the point of maxing the skills then?
Either that, or it's an error in the game. Kinda like how Singularity can screw up battles.
2 examples, both on Noveria: Liara used Singularity in the reactor room and an enemy ended up below the floor, making combat never end because it was unreachable. In this last playthrough, she used it on the 1st rachni that pops up after talking to the guard captain at the station. The one that didn't surface yet was sucked towards it while still underground, causing another endless combat glitch, which in turn made the NPCs not respond to dialogue, which means no more progress through the game. I had to reload and then disable biotic/tech use for that battle to get around that.
