The Cat's too busy contributing to the galaxy with his perfect a**, and a hologram is strictly light, it couldn't manipulate it's environment until it was remastered into hard light, before Rimmer became a real being after Lister went back in time.

That's what never made sense to me in the Yugi-Oh! cartoons.
The real world is affected by the holograms of the monsters they summon and stuff.

The EP where Kaiba " beats " Yugi in the duel before entering Pegasus's mansion, Kaiba stands on the parapets of the place so that if Yugi attacks, the monster's destruction will create a shockwave to knock him off, forcing Yugi to lose by not attacking because Yugi's a pissant goody-good.
Any EP where they " attack the player directly " you see the players like they're really getting hurt by it and stuff.

Because Yugi-Oh is a shitty overdractic cartoon that doesn't have the right to be called anime anymore than it is a corporate scam or the minds of millions of children?
