Ingo sent out Chandelure, who quickly launched a Flamethrower at Scraggy.
Electrike used it's Thunder attack, easily taking out the weakend Archeops. Klinklang was sent out, and it knocked Electrike to the wall with Flash Cannon.

Scraggy managed to endure yet another hit, but was dangerously in the red. "Alright, Coolio... Let's hurt that Klinklang with the strongest Hi Jump Kick you have!" Nick ordered. Scraggy nodded an once again landed the kick, albeit narrowly avoiding collision with the subway wall.

As Scraggy jumped up in the air, Chandelure shot a flamethrower at it, which missed. Electrike took the chance, and used Thunder Fang, causing a nice chunk of health to be lost. Suddenly, Electrike lit on fire for a moment. Flame Body had taken its toll.
As Scraggy hit Klinklang, it grimaced, but as the kick came, it took the hit, then spun around, responding to the attack right away with a Gyro Ball, which would be almost impossible to dodge as Scraggy was still close up.

Not even Scraggy's mighty defense could endure the attack, and it fainted. Nick recalled it and summoned Druddigon. "Rathalos, use Snarl on Klinklang!" he ordered. The Dragon type let out a loud sound that lowered both enemy's Special Attack.

Rex watched Nick and Kai's battle back at HQ. "Man, they are doing great." Rex smiled.

Shaydas walked into the HQ with Kipper passed out on his head. He looked over at the television, which was broadcasting a battle between Nick and somebody else. "Who's winning?" he asked Rex, trying to keep his head as level as possible.

Electrike staggered, taking Burn damage. "Hey, Nick, I think I'm going to be whiting out on this one soon." He let Electrike rest for a second, using Charge.
Ingo and Emmet concurred a fresh Pokemon was a problem. Chandelure attempted to used Psychic on Rathalos to damage it a little, and Klinklang used Gear Shift, raising its stats considerably.

"It's Nick and some guy named Kai versus Ingo and Emmet from the Gear Station." Rex said. "It looks like Nick and Kai are winning, wasn't paying much attention."

"I can get rid of Chandelure right now. Klinklang is all yours." Nick said. "Shadow Claw!" Nick ordered. The powerful claw strike made Chandelure faint, but it left its mark on Rathalos, leaving it burned as well. "Take it away, Kai!" Nick smiled.

Kai nodded. but, Klinklang had speed up greatly as well as raised its attack, and outspeed electrike easily. It threw two gears at Rathalos, Gear Grind. It would hit twice, and do much more damage because of Shift Gear.
Electrike used Spark, dealing slight damage to Linklang, who shurgged it off. Electrike was burned, reducing its attack. Electrike then fainted. "Its still standing, sorry my Pokemon wasn't much help there." He said, Electrike was one of his weaker attackers.

Nick bit his lip, sighing deeply. "Fine. Superpower, Rathalos, double time!" he ordered. The two Gear Grinds had done damage on Klinklang thanks to Druddigon's Rough Skin, and this was sure to seal the deal. Druddigon threw the strongest punch it had right at the Gear's face, knocking it out. The burn damage left Rathalos barely standing and breathing heavily.

The two subway bosses nodded. They congratulated the two trainers, then left the train.
Kai patted Nick on the back. "Nice job, sorry about my lack of skill there. I felt clouded, and I didn't really do my best. Your a great trainer." He then walked off the train.

Kipper shifted a little in its sleep, still completely balanced on Shaydas' head. "Yeah, I would've challenged it, but I got sucked up by an SIV portal, they've been there since yesterday." Rex laughed. He got some coffee then came back to the couch.

"It's quite alright! You're not a bad trainer yourself." Nick smiled, patting Kai on the back. "Say, why don't we spend our Points on the Shop?" he said, eying the girl on the counter.
