God damn man. Just to give you a break down of how long one battle in Supreme Commander can take. One skirmish battle. 10 hours 59 minutes. It would have been faster had my commander not been killed. And since when they die they go nuclear, I lost my entire landing force. Turned into a search and destroy after I nuked their base several times. Then again, I guess I deserve that for choosing a map that is 40km x 40km in size.

I think once we get some more power to us, and when i get my head out of my a** to learn how to set up a colony, we'll be a rather tough force to recon with. We already got some power to us, we have an experienced ally, and we're rather active.

Yeah, to get a colony ship you need to research impulse drive level 3 and have a level 4 shipyard. Once you get those you can make a colony ship. Once you make one, find a spot in you galaxy, preferable 4-11; I think, and then fill it full of the resources you'll need in the beginning and send it to it's destination with colonize as the objective.
