Rex smiled. "It's all good with me, I have a new one I wanna train." He took out a Poke Ball, tossing it into the air and catching it.

"Well, in that case, let's go!" Arekku dashed to the teleporter and went through to the beach. He chuckled, checking his Pokeballs for something.

"Let's go Sewaddle!" Rex threw the ball, it hit the sand, bounced, an opened up, revealing Sewaddle. "Let's do this." Rex said.
"Waddle?" Sewaddle had no idea what was going on.

Rex sighed. "C'mon man, your going to easy!" Rex looked at the Nidoran. "Start off with a String Shot!" Rex told Sewaddle. Sewaddle shot a sticky substance(bow chicka wow wow) at Nidoran.

"Easy? I think not! Marqui, Poison Sting!" The Nidoran opened his tiny mouth, shooting hundreds of tiny poisonous barbs in the general direction of the foe Sewaddle. The needle-like barbs shot through the string effectively nullifying the attack and causing the needles to spin out of control bombing the area around the small foe with sticky poisonous shards, "Not only am I an Aqua Sergeant, but I'm also a decent Coordinator. I train in interrupting an opponents attacks and turning them around. "Marqui, Dig!"

In some magical Pokemon logic, Sewaddle began absorbing sunlight, the leaf around it's head glowing. "Just absorb the dig Sewaddle." Rex nodded.

Marqui came up directly beneath the Sewaddle, aiming to knock it back on one of the gummed up poison darts that lie on the ground around it.

Tommy had snoozed off leaning against a tree, sitting down, after a few laps around the island to burn off excess energy to rid himself of the jitters. He woke up rather sore, but feeling good, full of an intense energy one finds from a deep sleep. There was none of the jitteriness either. Tommy stayed leaning against the tree, having noticed shortly the battle unfurling in front of him. He put his hands behind his head, interlocking them, and laid back to enjoy the battle.

Sewaddle was pushed/rolled back by Nidoran's attack. When it was able to stand again, Sewaddle fired the Solarbeam straight at Nidoran.

The Nidoran took the hit with relative ease thanks to the type resistance, "Now Marqui, Peck!" Marqui began running at the foe at maximum speed, readying the Flying type attack.
