patch99329 I also have a soft spot for ADF. I'm in the process of getting as much info as I can about it, before I possibly bite the bullet and just do the bloody dedicant course to see if it gels with me. really, the dedicant's program is a good course all around. even if you complete it and find ADF isn't for you, it's still a good path to finding further about yourself. don't feel that if you do it and decide it isn't for you that you've wasted your time, or even then you have to stick around.

too2sweet The Indubitable Katie-Kat For the love of all things holy and made of chocolate, someone please kidnap me until after election day! gonk I know the feeling. I've been getting phone calls almost every day from one campaign or the other (for weeks). I can tell you if either one of them really thinks that's a good way to get people to vote for them, boy are they wrong. I feel completely harassed, to the point I don't even answer my phone anymore if I don't recognize the number. I was finally able to catch the call back number for McCain's campaign and was able to get on their do not call list, but it's a little late now. scream We've actually only gotten one phone call, from Lee Terry, begging to be re-elected. The crazymaking part is my dad demanding to know who I'm voting for, telling me I'm not allowed to vote for Obama or McKinney because they're anti-American and want to make white people slaves to make us pay for the "War of Northern Aggression," that Democrats and Republicans answer to the same person and both McCain and Obama want to destroy the country and I'm not a real American unless I vote for the Constitution Party. gonk I don't think he quite realises that my vote is MINE, and at twenty years old, I'm a bit outside the influence of his indoctrination techniques. Besides, I already voted. He keeps forgetting that, too.

The british media is all for Obama to win. The bias is so obvious it's pissing me off. It's their job to cover this election fairly.
Even in the kiddie news program it's like 'OMG LOOK AT THIS COOL s**t OBAMA JUST DID...MCAIN? WHO'S THAT?'.

It's the same in Ireland. RTE (our national broadcaster) tries very hard to be impartial but it's pretty obvious they think Obama is the way to go.

OMG, if I had received a phone call, I would have told that person (either party) that I was officially voting for the other one. I almost did that a couple weeks ago when Obama people were practically accosting people every 5 feet. I saw one woman get approached 3 times in one block (the recruiters could SEE each other!!).

Even in the kiddie news program it's like 'OMG LOOK AT THIS COOL s**t OBAMA JUST DID...MCAIN? WHO'S THAT?'. Apparently, it's like that all over the world. The majority of Canadians, in a poll, wanted Obama. I mean, remember when Obama went to Germany. Multiply that reaction and effect by every developed country in the world. I think the poll that was global said that 80% of the world wanted Obama.

I'm just voting for Obama because he has a chance in hell of doing something good for the GLBT community.
Specifically for the trans community. We get ******** over by everyone else. >.<

saint dreya voted early...hmm, let me see, who on earth could i have voted for? -_o I voted Before everyone.I voted the second I registered. I voted, by not voting. My choice is "None of the above!" And All day long, when people discover this....they tell me "then you have no right to complain". I Tell them: "What DOES give you a right to complain about the president? Or...Why would someone who voted, complain about the president? Either because the president was not the one they wanted, or the president is not doing what they wanted. I want neither, And neither will do what I want them to...Ergo I have MORE of a right to complain then anyone" They just look at me blankly and repeat themselves.
