Jarod held back a squeak at Plushy's gentle tail-hug. He recognized Rodger's voice right away, and was relieved at his presence and question. "I want some water," Jarod said rather quickly. He released his hold on his mother and half-rushed towards the kitchen. "I'll catch up." Loki stood, watched Jarod go, then turned to Plushy. "I'm sorry about that. This is Jarod's first time meeting a real dragon, and I suppose it's scarier than he thought it would be. But he's looked forward to it for a long time, so I'm sure he'll try to be a friend sooner or later." She offered him a smile, and decided to answer Plushy's questions in Jarod's place. "I'm Loki, his mother. I'm a shapeshifter, and Jarod's halfway one. I've met a couple of dragons before, but you're the first red one I've seen."

"Shapeshifter, can jarod trun himself into a dragon?" Plushy asked the Loki.
Plushy would yell at Rodger latter, when the Jarld wasn't next to him, Plushy tail still wraped around Jarod's belly followed him to the kitchen, and had been pulled through the window farther into the house. my occ
"Good, hold still please" Willow reaches out and places her hand gently on the assassins shoulder and as before, in a flash of black the two were gone.
A mere moment later Willow and Shen stood in front of a large warehouse, it seemed to have been used for making newspapers in years gone by, now long abandoned, Willow took her hand away from the elf and held her hand out, a black flash and a slim blue folder was in her hand, which she began to flip though.

Lorathin snorted at Shen’s brutal comment. His face twisted in a snarl beneath the shadow of his hood as the elf decided to instead jump upon Willow’s offer.
“Fine.” Pulling the glove from his fleshed hand, he removed it from beneath his cloak and snapped his fingers. A wisp of black smoke emanated from his fingers and disappeared as quickly as it had come. In its wake, a card rested between his thumb and middle finger.
“When you’re ready,” he continued darkly, “call this number.” Lorathin tossed it like a Frisbee toward Shen, the elegant, green letters on it glinting in the five o’ clock light.
The card floated through the air, sailing easily to Shen. Before it reached the elf, Lorathin’s body seemed to sink into the ground in a puddle of blackness. The puddle vanished, leaving a patch of dead grass behind.
“Then water you shall have!” Rodger smiled down at Jarod as the boy joined him. He stepped into the kitchen with Jarod at his heels. He flipped on the light switch to his left and went to the cabinets hanging on the wall to the right of the stainless-steel sink.
Opening the dark, mahogany wood of the nearest cabinet, he pulled out a large glass tinted blue.
“So, how old are you, Jarod?” Rodger asked as he turned on the faucet.

"No, I'm afraid Jarod can't turn into a dragon," Loki answered Plushy. "He could probably figure out the human disguise of a dragon, though." She watched as Plushy worked his way into the room through the window. Jarod did not realize that Plushy's tail was around his waist. He watched Rodger move through the kitchen. "I'm se-" Jarod cut himself off and paused. "... I'm three years old." He didn't have to lie anymore, right... ? "But I grew fast, so I don't look it, and I can do more stuff than a three-year-old human can." Jarod placed his hands on the edge of the sink and peeked over them, watching the faucet water slowly rise in the glass. "But I can make myself look three if I want." He rose up onto his tiptoes for a better view. "What about you?" he asked, now looking up at Rodger.

(("turn into" vs "take shape" = dragon soul vs shapeshifter. the dragon soul turns into a dragon and can breath fire. the shapeshifter takes the shape of a dragon, but can not breath fire, though thay can fly. dragon souls also have lots of magic power and can do many things, shapeshiftes have no magic, or very little...))
