Watchign the two he smiled gentely "I guess..if any mans worthy of my Aury...its WOlf" He looked at Wolf "Man..if you dont wake up from this..I'll be the one to pull the plug"

Aury slammed her paw on the table.

"damn it Wolf!! get yer arse back here!!"

Aury slammed a kiss on his mouth.

Just then Aury sensed something outside the door, a hunter?
Aury did what Red had been trying to teach her all along.
She waited sensing him.

a hunter, male, 180 pounds, 6'2' two knives and a shot gun.

She waited. the hunter burst threw the door. and she slammed him down on the ground and took him by the neck, when she had her fangs sunken into it, she shook him with all the anger she had in her life, she snapped him like a rag doll.

She sat looking at the door.

Seraph, Glen And Red Were All Staring At Her.

She layed over the dead body.
she sobbed.
the door was open and she saw the moon.

And she howled.
howled For her Wolf.
Her Wolf...

Aury looked at her dad sadly.

They walked the full island several times, seemingly days, maybe weeks, who could tell what time was in this world... Always careful to avoid the beach where the fake Aury slept, Wolf was worried his heart would break if he had to play with her and feel her tears again.

"She's more fond of ye than she lets on... Even I could see that, and she was a pro at hiding her emotions. Seraph and Glen never could tell how she felt about anything other than seeing her smile at a new blade or knowing that she loved them."

"Nothin I can do about that. Nothin I could ever do about her. I wasn't there, she only thinks she's fond of me more than she should be because I wasn't there. Absence makes the heart grow fonder."

"Ye can't be serious about that right? I mean, ye were the one she bonded with right away. Hell, she trust ye faster than she trusted Seraph!"

"Yea, and I also never wanted ta raise another child. I told them I'd only be her teacher, uncle at best. She even called me her brother."

"She missed ye, brother. There wasn't a day untill the last 3 months that she didnt sit on top of the roof and look at the moon, debating whether or not to howl for ye. Maybe that turned inta coveting, and maybe it turned inta an obsession. But if she obsessed than she'd have come fer ye sooner, or called fer ye ta come ta her. Whatever it was though, its not somethin she controls."

"She's too young Red. I'm too old. Even IF I'm in mah prime. I age faster, I'll die sooner. I don't want ta put her through the pain I felt with Ooh Wah Saw, the pain I felt when I lost the whole pack.."

"But who are ye ta take away the pleasure she'd git from bein with ye?"

"It's not right Red."

They kept walking...

Seraph had the body hidden in a body bag, he stood there stareing at glen "Whoa" he said and shook his head "G..glen..I've..never seen ya like that"

"Kinda..freaky" He heaved the body over his shoulder "Well..can you help me sneek this think over to the cremations?"

They had thought of an idea... seeing as Wolf couldn't do it himself, Red would try something riskey on the other side. They made thier peace and said good bye and good luck, then Red returned to the hospitol room.

Looking around he saw a great deal had conspired during his absence... he could smell the fresh kill, but the body was gone, as was Aury. Glen and Seraph were discussing things.

He non-chalantly walked over to the door, locked it, and stuck a metal cart in frot of it to prevent it from opening.

Whistling as he did so he calmly walked over to Seraph and Glen and whispered in between their ears "I'm sorry fer this..." then grabbed their heads and slammed them together, knocking them out, but not injuring them.

"There...didn't wanna hafta do that, but they'd have jist tried ta stop this crazy schemin of yers brother."
Red looked at the monitor, read Wolf's chart, and determined from all the information that he was in fact very much healthy and working fine, so the plan SHOULDN'T go wrong.

He stuck the pulse monitor on Seraph's finger so it would continue to beep, and then reached down and unplugged Wolf's life support.

1 minute...2 minutes...5 minutes...his body finally started to convulse and wheeze for the air that wasn't being artificially pumped into it. Red held his brother's body down and clamped onto his throat with his teeth, keeping the airway open by not letting it close from the bite. He pumped the spotted chestplate and after about another 2 minutes it started to breath on its own.

"Huh...didn't think that would work...well, the rest is up ta ye, brother..."
