As the next day arrived, Ali woke up and stretched a bit "mmm....that was a good night" she said and looked over her should to see Tails up "morning Tails, sleep well?" she asked

"Actually no Ali, I didn't I couldn't think about anything except that chao, where did she get that power?" Tails said to Ali.

"I hope so Ali, well I am gonna go see what I can find on the beach and perhaps go for a swim to clear my mind." Tails said as he walked out the door.

"mind if i join?" Ali asked as she got up "and if you ask about my dad, he sleeps practically the entire day so it'd be a good idea just to let him sleep" she said

Ali looked at Tails in shock and quickly covered her mouth so she wouldn't yell and nodded. She then headed over to the door and waited for Tails to come after she opened the door and held it open for him while still covering her mouth

Ali looked up with a start to see Rouge "none of your business" she whispered/hissed when she uncovered her mouth
