"Sooo Tropius knows protect as well. He's a survivor I'll give him that. A very defensive pokemon with strong capabilities of offense. He has to be on his last legs though, he has already taken a beaten not to mention Substitution causing him to lose half his stamina...I'll have to end him quickly before he becomes more of a threat! Blaze cloak yourself with Fire Spin, follow that up with Thunderfang!"

Using it's speed Growlithe blazed a path along the sand, opening it's mouth the spiraling flame cloaked it's body. Growlithe's fangs began to pulse with electricity, it rushed towards Tropius jumping to clamp down on the giraffe like pokemon's body. At the same time burning It with the cloak of flame. The flames and lighting made Growlithe appear bigger and more powerful essentially giving him the illusion of being bigger then he actually was.

" This battle is beginning to get intense Rex!!!! I never thought I could have so much fun!" Itaku's body was shaking with excitement and nervousness.

The sand from Tropius's fall had blinded both itaku and Blaze, the gears could be heard but not seen. The attack connected dazing Blaze a bit, itaku was confused.... "I don't even want you to think about giving up! I know Klink isn't used to battle so this would be a great experience for him! Blaze rush in close and use Fire Fang." Growlithe raced toward the gear pokemon and attempted to bite down with blazing fangs.

" I knew Klink could levitate but whoa! That's some impressive height. My close range attacks will no longer work....I need to knock him out of the air somehow...he also used charge. His special attack and attack rises...this could get dangerous. Blaze Hidden Power once more, then Fire Spin.!" The orbs surrounded Growlithe and launched themselves in the air towards the Klink, Growlithes maw erupted with blistering heat as the Fire Spin connected turning the Hidden Power bright red, the nature of the move had switched from Psychic to Fire. Small embers fell as the orbs danced across the sky towards Klink.

"Good I would never want an opponent to give up on me! I have faith you can pull this off!!!!" Itaku was laughing he was generally happy then he had been in a long time.

Snapping out of his ridiculously long daze, he noticed that Klink had fired back with incredible power. "Nice what you did there is called an Interrupt! You just might have potential for a contest....Blaze doesn't have an attack strong enough to deflect that move. Blaze Brace yourself for impact!!!" Blaze dug it's claws into the sand and howled, the attack hit with incredible force sending the little pup flying back. Itaku hoped that the fact he hadn't taken any damage yet he might be able to survive it. Regretfully the attack was to much, Blaze was on the ground knocked out.

" Damn...that was much stronger then I anticipated....let's see who will I call out now....come on out Frostine!!!" The ball popped off his jacket revealing his Smoochum. " Your special Klink...is pretty kick a**!!" Itaku chuckled lightly signaling the first move was Rex's.

"That's how you want to play it, I see!!! Frostine Trick Room, follow it up with Powder Snow and Psychic!!!" Frostine danced across the field it's eyes glowing with fierce psychic power. Everything around the field kinda warped, the slower pokemon was no able to move first. As she spun powder snow began to surround itself all around her in a beautiful display of grace and control. It's eyes glowed once again as the Powder Snow was enveloped in a blue light. Launching itself directly at the ditsy Klink.

" Nice strategy attempting to speed him up....but you can never trust a psychic type..." Itaku was smiling as he watched the beautiful snow race towards Klink.

" Oh that was an incredible reversal....let's see if I can pull one off with equal finesse....I learned something from your Tropius...." The flash cannon connected but instead of damaging Smoochum it a puff of smoke revealed it was only a decoy. "Substitution...Quickly use Wake- Up-Slap!!!!" Smoochum was behind Klink and lashed out with a powerful slap hopefully catching him off guard.

" We both seem to be learning something from each other....." Itaku smiled and tossed back his hood, revealing more of his face.

" I'll admit that Substitute was surprising but not good enough. Frostine CopyCat!!!!" Smoochum once again disappeared in a puff of smoke the decoy was taken out. Smoochum was behind the Klink once again. " Close Range Shadow Ball!!!!" Smoochum's hands glowed with a purple aura as a ball of shadow was blasted directly into the Klink. "Normally Substitute can't be used that quick....however Copycat allows the user to copy the ability directly used before it....which would normally be Thundershock....however Trick Room is still up...meaning that Thundershock would come after Frostine's move. The move used right before...was Copycat!!!!!"

Itaku began to laugh, he was grateful that he set up Trick Room only shortly before hand.... " Come on now!!! Let's see that spunk and determination!!!!"

"Crap to close can't do anything!!! Brace for Impact!!!" Smoochum threw up her arms to take the blunt of the attack. It hit sending jolt's through her body. She flipped backwards landing gracefully on the sand.

" Good I'm glad your not finished yet, but neither are we!!!!!! Frostine use Blizzard!!! Follow it up with Toxic!!!!" A powerful snowstorm was whipped up making it's way towards the Klink. Opening it's mouth Smoochum shot out a powerful and extremely poisonous toxic that mixed itself with the Blizzard. Creating a beautiful purple snow with deadly consequences.

" The fun has begun!!!"
