King Bug Well it wouldn't be good of Vintrict not to n** his mistake in the butt. So its good for him to get rid of her. Because to Vintrict... Its never Vintrict's fault.

Hey man, it's not Vintrict's fault if people enter wildly overpowered characters. Can't just let them steamroll to #1 just because of a slip up looking over profiles.

That wasn't just a slip up. He must have just not read it. Because clearly the runes on her axes replete their power indefinitely and by using that power you create more power.

Well yes and no. I won't argue against the rune system being silly to transition to free form. WoW went through a few transitions to become increasingly casual friendly. Resources in WoW need to replenish rapidly to keep the pace of action high.
As far as I know she still has to hit to replenish rune power though. I'm not 100% sure. Sigil's character is definitely stacked though.
This isn't the first time I've dealt with this though. Before, it was me who had the more beefed up profile. Speaking from the experience of having been in that position I can say that while nerfs/bad scores suck, it was partly my fault as well. I put way more/op s**t in my profile then had any business being there and it made the game worse for everyone all around.

She doesn't have to hit with any of her abilities to generate rune power. She can just wave her arms around and do it. That was something I was gunna push to implement, but I ended up dropping the issue.

Meanwhile that jackass was complaining about how spitting on things was absolutely OP.
Yeah. I'm still mad about it.

Ah. I thought I saw somewhere that she needed to hit with an axe to generate rune power. I mean it's kind of dumb because its based off WoW, where you more or less always hit. Essentially every swing is a default hit = rune power generation.
Her character is designed to fail though. She might as well have entered General Grievous or something. The point is, the character can't really ever hit anything - anyone who doesn't LOLDODGE is just going to get killed. Her character punishes her and her opponent, and that cycle will just lead to her falling out of the tournament. It's just a matter of time.
The DK could have been made very interesting. I'm optimistic though. GTB can be a learning experience for everyone. I've never met someone who managed to land character balance perfectly on their first try. In the future she'll probably make more compelling characters, even if they are WoW inspired/based.

Well he told me he wanted to limit terrain changing/creating abilities.
Sprouting chains is an AOE snare ability. Making it so people slip around or creating rock walls ( in my case ) are substantially different.

There is virtually no way for that kind of character to be competitive in this kind of tournament.

It's something Fox and Crawley talk about all the time, but they're on a more extreme end of the spectrum. Since they do H2H low/no powers even something like a regular sword ends up posing that problem.
Most of the time though you don't have much of an issue until you get to either insta-gib weapons like lightsabers or retardedly strong weapons like great axes and warmauls. No one is going to take a solid hit from a huge fantasy war hammer almost as big as their body.

No one is going to take a solid hit from a huge fantasy war hammer almost as big as their body. That is why I like Tres incorporating more impact throws in his arsenal. I don't have the thing where grappling is boring and pisses people off. I can still use some amateur style wrestling stuff like double legs, and when they hit they make a really dramatic statement...and I know they aren't insta-kills or KO's so I know people wont avoid it at all cost Unlike mauls and great axes... but in sigil wardens defense... If your smart you can even make those big heavy insta-gib weapons land.... but...then people hate you.
