A text buzzed onto Rogue's phone with the address to his apartment, notifying her of his readiness to have the body picked up and examined.

Xander tortured the Nightwatch member for some form of information. He gleaned nothing thus far, but in his attempt to maximize the pain, the vampire before him had passed out. What he needed was a powerful psychic to pry the mind open. He was not exactly someone gifted in the psychic gifts that some of his fellow race possessed, but he did possess the raw power associated with the Sanguinarian lines. He was Rogue's younger brother, after all.
He licked the blood off his knuckles, and walked out of the room in the catacombs beneath Las Noches.
He wondered if Xandra was doing alright. He knew she would be in pain when she woke, and he was not prepared to feel her rage stir again. When they lost control...for some reason all three of them were connected.. he just happened to have the most self control. Where he held self control, Xandra seemed to lack it more often than not. His twin was a beauty, for sure. He and Xandra had lived for many years in what is now modern day Slovenia. For a few centuries, they caused terror across eastern Europe as well...It was only in the current century that they caught wind that their sister, Kaei, now known as Rogue, was still alive.
He walked up the stairs and back into the main part of the club looking for Milos, but stopping at the bar to have a casual drink. Milos would come to him. Milos, I need you now... The words drifted into Milos' mind, and Xander was then poured a glass of Grey Goose Vodka. "Ziveli, Jackson." Xander smiled as he raised his glass in cheers to the bartender.

Xander had looked at his phone after a few drinks. Rogue had texted him a while back with instructions to meet Ceon. This is going to go over well.
He stood from his seat and nodded to the bartender. He paid no tab, and none was required of him. Being the brother to the owner had its perks. He began to walk out when he felt a strange stirring in his chest. Something wasn't right but he couldn't be sure what it was. He continued on out of the club and to the address texted on his phone.

Xander lugged the body over his shoulder and entered through the shadows of a rarely used, higher security entrance. He made his way down to the catacombs under Las Noches, and dumped the body.
He got on his cell phone and called Milos, asking him to run diagnostics on the dead body, and to continue to torture the other Nightwatchman they had in custody.

As Xander was carrying the dead body from the apartments, something happened. Something Sinister moved in its ethereal form, unseen or heard, into the dead body that was over Xander's shoulder. The empty vessel made no objections to the dark intruder, and the dark form implanted itself into the dead bodies brain.
Shortly after, is when Xander dumped the body. However, when Xander began to walk away from the body and call Milos, the body's fingers twitched. slightly at first, but then the twitching spread from the fingers to the chest, making the body convulse violently. The sounds of choking escaped the mouth of the body, and saliva leaked from the corner of the body's mouth. After what was barely a few seconds, the body stopped convulsing, and was still.
After a moment of silence, it's eyes opened suddenly, glowing with a darkness that was not of this world. It then began to rise upward, as if an invisible force was lifting it upward, and forward, until it was standing. The possessed body looked at Xander with black, glowing eyes, and its face was expressionless.
After a moment, it flexed its hands, and its mouth curled into a malevolent smile. It knew who Xander was, and who his sister was as well. In fact, it knew of every being that resided here in New York.
"Hello..." the words slowly escaped its mouth, tainted by a dark inhuman voice, and continued. "...Xander." The body was merely a vessel for a darker being, one whom only a few here in the city had met long ago. Blood and saliva trickled from the sides of its twisted mouth, and the stench of decay filled the air. Though the body was possessed, it was still dead nonetheless, and its wounds still remained, though the body seemed to be unaffected by them.

Xander turned, looking at the body, eyes wide. "Listen...Milos...I'll have to call you back..." He clicked the end button and slowly brought down his phone, sliding it into his pocket, not wanting to make any sudden movements. This Nightwatchman was dead. He was sure of it. But something was reanimating the corpse. He felt there were only a few options for such madness...and he hoped his own madness was not the cause of this reanimation. He resisted the urge to pinch himself.
He narrowed eyes at the body of the Nightwatchman. This wasn't the original being come back to life...this was possession. But by who...or even what for that matter.
"Sranje...You...seem to have the pleasure of knowing my name...but haven't offered me the same courtesy. Your name, please..."

The body hissed excitedly in a very twisted and dark manner, and its eyes widened a bit, along with the malevolent smile, showing more teeth and never taking its eyes off of Xander. A shudder went through its body, and it twisted its neck to the right, causing a sickening pop. The body inhaled, and exhaled with a slight wheeze, before answering the Vampire with its head still twisted to the side.
"My name...." He hissed, the wide smile never leaving the corpses face. "...Knowing your name was never a courtesy, it is just fact." As he finished his statement, he twisted his head back to the left, and a series of more sickening pops were heard. He licked his teeth in a twisted manner, before continuing. "Shinigami... Perhaps your dear sister, Kaei has told you of me?" He stared at Xander with his frightening black eyes that almost seemed to emit the very power of Hell. "...or perhaps you have heard of me through other means..."
As the demon finished speaking, black veins began to bulge out of the corpses skin, adding more of a frightening appearance to his already malevolent demeanor.

[[Enter from apartments]]
Felicia hurriedly took a route to the club meant for protection from the elements and all but burst through the door, feeling much more confident than she had prior. She scanned the room suspiciously as she made a B-line for the bar.
Once seated comfortably at the far left of the structure, she motioned for the bartender.
"Merlot, please. Nothing more delicious than a sweet red." She winked and shooed him on.
Felicia fidgeted with her hair, looking around generally now. She sniffed and scowled slightly. Was the apartment complex really that rank? If so, she must have gotten the mother of all imprints from the poor human's death stench. A fresh kill was musically scented; this was grotesque. She couldn't quite put her finger on it.
"Your drink, ma'am." The bartender cooly passed a rose-shaped glass into her fingers.
"Thank you. Erm, may I ask you a question? Do you...smell something?"
The vampire raised an eyebrow and snickered. "You'll have to be more specific than that."
Felicia contemplated how to rephrase her question. "Does something, well...stink to you? Like, a putrid odor."
The bartender narrowed his eyes, but humored her and filled his dead lungs. His sensitive nose dissected the air around them, then his eyes widened slightly. "In fact... I do." Without being excused, he slowly turned and walked off with a look of disbelief shrouding his face.
Obviously the only kind of death that usually lingered here was that of wounded or fresh kills, human sacrifices to the royalty of this establishment. Felicia took a slow, thoughtful drink while the hair on the back of her neck stood on end.

The voice alone was unnerving, but the black veins that began to protrude from the dead vampire's body made something in him churn. The name he had heard, though he couldn't place where. Perhaps Kaei had mentioned it...but why was he associated with Kaei at all. He had not encountered many demons in his long life, and he did not wish to in the future.
Hearing his sister's name through this monster's lips made anger flicker within him. "How do you come to know my sister?" He took a step and steadied himself, his eyes not leaving the reanimated corpse.

The corpse emitted a deep raspy chuckle from its throat as Xander asked how he knew his sister. It continued stare at him with those wide black eyes for a moment, the black veins continuing to slowly spread all the way up to his eyes. The body convulsed for a split second, and became calm again. Thats when Shinigami answered.
"Your sister is a Vampire of interest, in Hell..." he paused, continuing to watch Xander with a malevolent gaze that proved further that Shinigami was who he was. "...Has she spoken to you about her constant battle with the darkness you earth dwellers refer to as the Void?" His smile grew a little, enjoying this little game he was playing with Kaei's brother. "This darkness is a product of Hell, and it has quite the hold on your sister, as well as her 'siblings'." It was obvious that he was now referring to Alexz, and Veroen, the other two Elders of the Coven.
He chuckled darkly again, finding this little interaction with Xander to be deliciously amusing. After a moment, the corpse shifted its neck, popping the head back into place, though it hung forward loosely for a moment, before moving back upright, returning its malicious gaze back to Xander.

The convulsing of this creature sickened him. The words the demon spoke made his rage flare.
In Hell. Over his dead body, in HELL. His chin slowly jutted out and the small muscles at his jaw tensed as he clenched his teeth so hard, it was likely they would crack. He had known through his connection with his sister that she had been battling this...Void darkness for some time. He refused to believe it had a hold on Kaei...even though consuming the damn black diamond a few years back had tainted something within her being. Her control as a Sanguinarian had been completely shattered and he knew deep down she was trying to find a balance again...his twin sister Xandra had never quite found the balance Kaei had early on in their lives as children of the night.
The chuckling of this creature made his hands clench tightly into fists. So many of his kind believed that they lost their true essence when they became vampires...but he knew from his slight dealings with creatures such as this...Vampires were far more human than anyone wanted to admit...and he truly believed the soul remained in tact...especially after this encounter. Why would such darkness come after that which was truly already dead? His mind raced, and he wondered if he shouldn't walk away from this creature now.
"She is much stronger than you think, demon." He tried contain his anger. His fangs elongated as he internally seethed. He wanted to rip this creature apart and sent it back to whatever darkness it aspired from. "Why are you here, and what do you want with Kaei or any of this?"

The longer Felicia lingered at the bar, the more a depressing realization set in: alcohol no longer steadied her nerves as it had in life. It dulled her senses and brought out the animal within, which was not helpful in most situations. Shot after shot after shot, and nothing was working. The stench only seemed to grow and the aura of this place was stagnant and fearsome. The liquored up vampire was filled with dread.
She patted her pockets and withdrew a pack of menthol 100s, one of which found its way between her lips. Upon further investigation, she failed to find a source of fire. She flagged down the bartender.
"Hey, uh... You got a light sweetheart?"
He raised an eyebrow and withdrew a Zippo. "Here you are." A flare briefly brightened her face. "You getting close to reaching a limit there dollface?"
She inhaled deeply and snickered girlishly. "Don't you know that's impossible at my age?" Her own joke really got the best of her and her shoulders began to roll. Little tufts of smoke sputtered from her nostrils. "I'm sorry, really. Just trying to avoid making sense of the terror I sense here. Wouldn't you?"
The bartender sighed and shrugged indifferently, though she suspected he was just as uncomfortable as she, if not moreso.
"Just pour me another martini and judge someone else," she nodded toward the top shelf liquor. "And don't skip out on me. There's a nice tip in it for you."
She turned away from him and watched the dance floor, drawing slowly on the smoke stick between her fingers. Insidious. So insidious...

Rogue had showered in her room at the Coven and had scrubbed the blood free. She dressed in a sleeveless, black, low-cut dress that draped down past her hips in the front and back, but had long slits that came up high on the outer sides of her thighs.
Her arms were muscular looking, but not overly so. It was just her natural build. Most vampires turned out to be very thin. Their body chemistry changed completely when they were all turned. Rogue was not completely an exception to this rule, for she had had a fuller figure when she was fully human. But her body maintained her natural strength during the turn. This normally happened to Sanguinarians seeing that their gifts lie in more in the physical.
She wore black high heels, though she didn't quite need to, being 5'8", the front panel of the shoes an emerald green. She also wore a silver necklace with a large emerald stone. Her midnight hair was swept back in a messy fashion, a few strands were out around her face, and framed it well.
Rogue walked into the club, her bouncers opening the door quickly for her as she surpassed the lines on the way in. She had already called a clean up team to go survey the area around where the elders and a few others had encountered the Custodiae atop a roof somewhere in the city. She also called the team to her trail of bloodshed while her bloodlust had been out of control only a short while ago.
She moved to the bar and the bartender took one look at Rogue and poured a large martini glass full of blood and scotch. She grinned at him and took the first sip. Find Xander for me, would you? Her eyes were locked on the bartender and he nodded silently and disappeared.
She had hoped Alexz and Veroen would be on their feet soon, as they had much to discuss.

Xandra was in a daze for days. She was on the seventh floor of Las Noches...a private sector of the building where her sister held multiple rooms for various purposes. This particular room was where she was being held to, 'clean up her act'. Xandra's teeth were clenched, and her eyes were closed as she growled. Two psychic vampires were using their abilities to try and create barriers inside Xandra's mind to be able to control her Sanguinarian nature.
Many Sanguinarian vampires were subject to this treatment in the last hundred years to try to even out and balance the beast within. The only reason Xandra had survived this long was her twin brother, Xander, picking up the pieces from her fits of rage and bloodlust through countless countrysides.
Mental walls and blocks were being torn down and replaced in her mind and odd forms of pain shot through her body. She tried to relax her clenched jaw and let them do their work. The only way out of this room was to let the psychic vampires work their magic.
Xandra had tended to be far too reckless, especially in recent months with her mind completely out of balance. She opened her eyes and the pain had dissipated. Her pupils focused and she looked from one vampire to the other. They both nodded to her, and the female spoke. "You're treatment is finished."
The door opened to the padded room, and several UV sensors were turned off. "You're free to go."
Seven days had passed. She had been fed small amounts of blood through that time, and her reality had been shattered and reformed multiple times. The bloodlust was still there...it never quite disappeared, regardless of how many people she killed. When she had initially woke, her blood level was so low, they had to IV her because her sister, Rogue, had drained her to the point of death because of her disobedience and lack of control that could destroy the whole vampire race's agenda. But...despite everything, Rogue had spared her life. Blood was thicker than water she had supposed, and in some way she was grateful. Family was a rare thing for their kind...to actually have anyone left alive at all...especially after so many years... Over the seven days of 'treatment' she felt extremely sorry for losing control in front of her sister and for putting everything they had worked for in jeopardy.
Xandra walked out of the room, barefoot and in a simple smock. Chains were unlocked at the door, and she walked quietly to the elevator to the second floor. She then walked down a long hallway, and entered codes into a panel, and entered into a back section of Rogue's office. There was a shower, and she was eager to use it.

"Xander is in the catacombs. He will be up shortly." The bartender smiled. Then, within her mind, she heard one of her psychic vampire employees speak. Xandra is up and about. We released her an hour ago.
Rogue looked at her glass. She had been drinking in a daze. The scotch had a burn as it went down and she welcomed it. Xandra was awake. She wondered what Xandra had even perceived during her treatment...their minds were linked to a degree. She expanded her mind for a moment, feeling out the club. Her sister was up in the office somewhere.
Her eyes were glowing softly as she used what little psychic ability she had developed over the years. Meet me at the main bar once you've showered up. I'm glad you're up and about, sister. Rogue took another drink from her glass.
