Benjamin was dozing, having woken up earlier but decided to snooze a little more. So when Icarus got up, he managed to rouse himself not long after. "Do you want to take a shower first?" he asked, stifling another yawn.

Icarus just finished her call when Benjamin finally roused awake. She thought a little on his question before smiling some. "You can go first. I ordered us some waffles from room service." she said, twirling some hair around her finger before grabbing the map again. She unfolded it and studied it before looking to Benjamin. "He's moving towards Illyria. We should get going in a while so we can make up some ground."

Benjamin nodded and headed to go take a shower.
Jethrow was still asleep in the cellar, fitfully though. He kept imagining that the other vampires were coming down into the cellar, ready to kill him. Or worse, use him to track down Icarus and kill her....

While Benjamin took his shower, the food arrived. She tipped the bellboy and placed the food on the table that was in the room. The nightingale began to eat, looking out the window at the warm morning. She thought some more before sighing. How she wished she could get a message to Jethrow. To tell him that she was coming to get him and for him to stay put.

Once Benjamin was out of the shower, he realized he was starving. He changed quickly and left the bathroom, drying his hair with a towel. "Bacon!" he said happily, crunching on the food and smiling at Icarus. She certainly seemed to be in a better mood now that they had a place to look for Jethrow.

Icarus studied the map a little bit longer before Benjamin dug into the breakfast she ordered. She smiled back at the Spaniard before carefully folding the map and placing it on the nightstand. The nightingale then got to her feet and went into the bathroom and shut the door, deciding to take a shower herself.

Benjamin continued eating until Icarus went to take her shower. He then picked up the map she had folded and looked at it himself. Sure enough, Jethrow was stationary on the road to Illyria, that is until he started moving again. And faster than before.
Jethrow was awoken unnecessarily by something loud stamping on the floor above his hiding spot. He tried to scramble into a corner or something, but soon, the trap door he'd crawled through flung itself open and some sort of tarp fell over his head. He struggled against whatever it was that had caught him, but soon he was tied up in the tarp like a bundle and tossed into what felt like a wagon. He had no idea where he was going... [OOC:] A mad scientist has captured him to play Frankenstein with. twisted

Icarus enjoyed her shower, soon getting out and dressing. She returned to Benjamin before peering over his shoulder at the map. Jethrow's symbol was moving like lightning. The nightingale frowned before quickly brushing her hair and braiding it. She then looked to Benjamin. "If he's moving that fast,t hen we have to hurry." she said urgently. She wouldn't let Jethrow get any farther. "I'm driving."

Benjamin didn't bother arguing with Icarus, instead dashing around to collect their things and pack up the remaining food--in case they didn't have time to stop for lunch. He packed it all into the sidecar and squished himself in as well, holding the map so that he could navigate while she drove. He had a feeling she liked to speed...

Icarus quickly paid the hotel tab and got out to the moped. She strapped on a helmet and some goggles and waited for Benjamin. Once he was in a moment later, the bird started the vespa, it buzzing to life. She then quickly took to the roads, following Benjamin's directions. Though he was certainly right about one thing: Icarus had a need for speed that day, pushing her vespa almost to its limits as she hit the open roads, desperate to get to Jethrow.

Meanwhile, the wagon that Jethrow was in was ambling down the road, having slowed down once they got far enough away from the cabin. They turned on a fork in the road, not going to Illyria but instead to a secluded little area with a couple cabins, all belonging to the man who'd taken Jethrow. Of course, Jethrow was still tied up in the sack in the back, so he had no clue where he was...

Icarus continued to run her vespa to its limit, but soon the engine gave a rattle and she was forced to pull onto the shoulder. Once she powered down the bike, she took off her helmet and slammed it on the ground. The engine was overheated so until it cooled off, they weren't going anywhere for quite a while. Icarus raged about this for a few minutes before sitting down next to the bike and pulling at her silver hair in frustration. She had been so close!!

Once Icarus sat down again, Benjamin showed her the map. "Look, he stopped again. He didn't go into Illyria, but it looks like this is a back road on the way. We shouldn't have too much trouble finding him, and hopefully he won't move again.

Icarus looked to the map, calming down. The thought of being with Jethrow again and being in his arms eased her mind. She nodded some to Benjamin and tried to relax. "Yeah... Hopefully he won't move.... I hope he's safe... Wherever he is." she mumbled, rubbing her head softly.

Benjamin pulled himself out of the sidecar and rubbed Icarus's back. "There we go. He'll be safe, we'll be safe, and you guys can go back to being your creepy selves once more."
