"You think I'm going to have a war going on during my wedding?" Difference of opinion there. Where he would like to say '******** you world, you're not stopping me', she would like to have it so she could kick back and not have to worry about such things as war, or said war decided to interrup said wedding. They had that kind of luck after all, didn't they? See, even as they made thier way back to perhaps engage in some fun, war was taking prioity. She had to compete with enought things for Malik's attention, she'd be damned if her wedding was going to be waiting in line for it. "Might as well..." She needed to shoot some to work out some rising negativity anyway.

"Okay, point taken. a horde of orcs woudl ruin the reception."

And down to teh archery range with them both.

"We can of course wait as you want. After all, you'll only get married once. can't have it be ruined, now can we. But we shouldn't be worrying about things like war. the lich is gone...his son may have some grudge, but there's nothing for him to work with. let Kimmuriel deal with him. We earned out time away from the front lines."

"Not to mention it's hard enough to get my mother to survive down here, I'd rather not add on the stress of trying to get her killed in the same span of time. It's just too much." Though she was already nocking her arrow to her bow, pulling back tension on the string but not releasing, test tension and sighting. Hey she'd been down here enough times to know she could bull's eye these things with her eyes closed. "Not worry about the thing that brings angry drow to your doorstep? I don't fancy that idea at all." A few hours down here would be nice, then probably a few hours in the spas, dinner, then bed. There, now she had a schedule in her head until the next morning where she would go about planning how to avoid Sevilin all over again.
PostPosted: Sun Mar 26, 2006 12:55 pm

Malik drew back on his own bow, careful, easy.

"Thing is, I don't think that is why he was here at all. all that fury and bluster..and he destroyed his own orc army, and left this place without a word. chaotic indeed."

Release and arrow, not a bullseye, but right close. yeah, stationary targets took a bit more aim than a moving one. you get use to firing a little ahead of the target, so it'll run into the arrow..rather than right on the mark.

"Who knows what he really wanted. He could thing enough reasons up, here let me list some: You're Tier'dal, you're plan opposition, you're harboring a surface elf not only in the Underdark but in your home, you pay homage to a different God...need I go on and find more?" See, she was only quiet about things. Though pulling back on her own arrow, she sighted. Though she wasn't going to center target, after all, Malik knew she could do that. So she offset the center some and let go, her own arrow spliting Malik's on the target right down the middle. "Personally I think Tarathiel has a screw or two loose, and he's overly paranoid. Couldn't even get anywhere near Meilikki." Then one of those evil little smirks she had adopted. "I think it's funny...he fusses at us over her and then he's the one to loose her after he was so confident in his stupid little castle."
PostPosted: Sun Mar 26, 2006 1:12 pm

Well. okay now she was just showing off. smartass.

"I tend to agree. he's not all there...but as for the humor...you know, I didn't think of that. it is rather funny, isn't it."

Alright miss fancy pants. lets see what you do with this. three arrows knocked, and let fly. one his the bull, the other two on just the outside rims of it.

"either way. let him deal with it. we did our part, it's not our fault, nor our concern, if he coudln't keep her safe. more likely Din took her, and is trying to do some grand scheme that'll come tumbling down like a house of cards."

Oh cute, he thought he was in her league in archery. And he may very well be but he had often said that he had nowhere near her skill. It was one of those times to see if he was just sayign things to be nice or really meaning them. How fun. But three, fine. She didn't do three at once though. The first was let to hit in the bull wiht Malik's, the second to split another one of his arrows and the third shot at an odd angle that struck and actually cut Malik's out of the target. Then a fourth was shot to take the place of Malik's previous one. "Actually, you may be able to say let him deal with it, but I can't really. I'm still in debt to that woman remember? Gave her my word for your life and I intend to keep it." Then a little shake of her had. "Though yes, next time I see him and if I have nerve enough I should rant at him about it."

Hmph. He knew he wasn't as good as her. after all Fier'Dal were trained with a bow and arrow in the same way a Tier'dal assassin was trained in poison use. Still she was showing off.

"By all means go ahead. he tries anything you know I would step in. and it's not like he has the option of killing you for insolence. though you did give your word to do a task for her. So you need her around to get that task going. That I understand. but we don't need to be involved just yet. let Kimmuriel find her and deal with Din."

Oh Piper knew she was showing off and she was in fact doing it for just the hell of it too. After all, with enough tension built up in her bow and with the right angle on a shot, she could in fact take body parts off at joints. She just wasn't into gore. "You mean let him handle it so he can throw it in our faces how we sat around?" She gave one of those stressed exagerated sighs again, leaning back against the wall on her shoulder. "I just don't know who I hate more, Sevilin or Tarathiel. I just wanna...hurt them both so bad. Are you absolutely sure I can't hit Sevilin for no reason?"
PostPosted: Sun Mar 26, 2006 1:55 pm

"Oh, let him throw it in our face that we didn't do anything, and we can spout back we didn't lose her in the first place. And yes, not for no reason. but I'm sure you can come up with plenty of reasons. a disrespectful look, a snide comment. not showing you proper respect does work."

He walked over to her, setting side teh bow and quiver, and pulled her from teh wall, massaging her shoulders.

"Why not take a trip for us down to the spas and relax. you coudl use it."

"Oh I can hear the childish fight not. 'Well you lost her', 'Well you didn't help to get her back', 'You wouldn't of let us help anyway', 'Tier'dal', 'Show off','Tel'gothrim' ,'Surface trash'. Yes we can all fight like a bunch of children over the issue, now won't that be fun? Can we throw things too? I'd like to throw and arrow at him." Wasn't she cute when she was stressing? Indeed...in some odd manner. But she let him pull her from the wall, letting her look soften. "Sounds good to me A'mael. Besides, as far as I'm concerned, you're not done paying me back either." Then one of those little smiles of her. "Does thsi mean I win our little rounds of showing off?"
PostPosted: Sun Mar 26, 2006 2:22 pm

"Yes, you win the archery showing off. I told you before you were a far better archer than me."

A smirk and a kiss on her shoulder, before leading her down ot the spas, the usual women slaves there getting them undressed and takign thier clothes to be cleaned and pressed while they got to lounge in the nice hot and steamy water.

"I just have to make sure that you're meaning what you're saying A'mael." Though she let him lead on, and got right on her schedule at that point in the night. Spas for a few hours, dinner, which she actually ate this time seeing as Malik had had her kept sated and thus she hadn't snacked teh night before. And with things going her way she hadn't intended to get the reprieve from bed and the wonderful activites that took place in that bed No, she wasn't kidding when she said Malik wasn't done paying her back in the terms of stress relief. And nine times out of ten, she got her way. A horribly wonderful night indeed...that is if you were used to the noise and could sleep through it.

Nym chitered unhappily as he paced in ferret like fashion at the sounds and not to mention sight of Sevilin on his knees in the bathroom, wretching. It horribly worried him, seeing as Sevilin hadn't been having a good reverie jusdking by his motions and when he had come up from that trance like state, had had gotten sick. Poor guy didn't have anything in his to hurl up though. Which made it all the worse really.

Sevilin was horribly sick...from himself. That was the most vile disgusting reverie he had ever had. Memories of how his sisters...'trained' him into the role of a 'proper drow male'. Names those horrible sexual acts that he had been subjected to because he was good breeding fodder as far as they were concerned. Star of said reverie? Lovely little older sister...and he had enjoyed it. At least his reverie deep mind had told him that. What the hell was that all about? Why would it change on him like that.

Getting a break from his body he fell back to sit on the floor, leaning against the wall."By Lloth..." And to think, he had to go train stupid Zahara...he was already late
.

Not too far away, an equally unhappy drow sat at the dining room table tapping those nails against the wooden surface. Sevilin was late. After all his bitching and blustering about how she had better be up 'dark and early' and he wasn't even here! Well dammit, she had gotten her a** out of bed for him, pulled on clothes and had actually made it down on time today expecting to see him sitting at the table or walking in the door. But no, he wasn't here. She hadn't had a fun night as she was currently staving off the horrible reverie that was hanging just off the horizon and he rmind was already feeling the effects. She wouldn't be able to go much longer and she knew it and almost wanted her mind to collapse. IT would be far preferable to having to experience...that all over again. But right now she was rather cross as a certain someone wasn't here. The staccato beat rang out in the deserted dining room and she didn't even feel like eating right now. "Insufferable fool. Where the hell is he?"

Malik was resting quite nicely, his state of reverie was fine. of course, Malvolence was locked away when he went into that state. a few slaves had learned the hard way that malik in reverie with Malvolence in reach was not a good thing. not only did bad reveries cause him to use it, but the ingrained psionics coudl sometimes have his reveries superimposed on his poor slaves waking minds. and that was not a pleasent experience.
