Icarus smiled a little sheepishly. "Sorry about the cramped conditions. You're welcome to drive and I'll sit in there." she offered, looking to the squished Spaniard. She was far too used to sleeping in the side car so she new the perfect way to curl up and sit and even nap.

Benjamin looked down and shrugged. "I don't know where we're going, but I'll give it a shot. You can navigate, how about that?" he said, clambering inelegantly out of the sidecar.

Icarus smiled some and rolled her eyes. She dismounted her vespa and changed places with Benjamin. She let him into the driver's seat, her getting into the side car with relative ease. She nestled down into her old bed, the duffel bag in her lap. She then looked to the Spaniard and smiled. "On to the first town I guess..."

So Benjamin drove off, and once on the road, he found it easier to get into the swing of things. It was just a road trip, really. Maybe one with higher stakes and more pressure, but a road trip nonetheless, and the Spaniard enjoyed road trips.
Jethrow waited until it was night before venturing out of the cave. He wandered for a few hours, before seeing the lights of a town in the distance. creeping closer, he hoped to see that it was somewhere he could identify, but he had his doubts.

Icarus relaxed in the side car, though she was still panicking inside. She worried for Jethrow, but she tried to remain calm for now. The bird watched as the scenery flew by, thinking about Jethrow and wondering if he was alright, and if he had eaten. But as night fell, Icarus fell asleep in the side car, snoozing contently as they reached the first town.

When Benjamin rolled into town, it was about dusk. He parked outside a diner and woke up Icarus. "Come on; let's get something to eat. We can ask the owners if they've seen Jethrow and maybe look around town a bit."
When Jethrow got to the outskirts of the village he realized how far from home he really was. He had to have been somewhere remote. The village was made up of a bunch of electricity deprived wooden huts and the people were gathered around a fire, dressed in furs. He decided not to try finding shelter. Best to avoid this situation entirely.

Icarus awoke with a bit of a start, having been dreaming deeply. The girl yawned softly and nodded, climbing out of the side car, leaving the bag inside. She headed into the diner with the Spaniard, hiding another yawn as she took a seat in a booth. Once Benjamin had joined her and a waitress had come over, Icarus pulled out a photo of Jethrow and her, showing it to the waitress. "Excuse me ma'am? Have you seen this guy come in here?"

Benjamin was eying the menu hungrily as Icarus talked to the waitress. The woman shook her head sadly and smiled. "Sorry sugar but I haven't see anyone like that. We don't get a lot of newcomers around here. If you want, the sheriff usually comes in here for some cobbler after work. I can send him over and you can ask him." "That would be great, thank you so much," Benjamin said with a smile.

Icarus smiled weakly at the waitress and nodded some, looking to the photo. She soon put it back in her wallet and sighed deeply, glancing to Benjamin, wondering what he was going to eat. He looked rather hungry...

When the waitress came back, Benjamin ordered a nice big burger. Sophia usually made sure he ate reasonably well, but he felt he deserved some good old greasy diner food.

Icarus glanced through the menu, wondering what she should eat. Unlike Benjamin, she couldn't have high protein foods. After all, Jethrow wasn't there to help her with her blood problem Soon she just ordered a small order of fries and closed her menu, sighing some.

The waitress took their orders and promised they'd be out soon. Benjamin realized that Icarus wasn't having protein for a reason and he smiled at her. "Let's talk; we haven't seen each other in a while, honestly--which is partially my fault."

Icarus was looking out the window when Benjamin spoke to her. She smiled a little and sighed. "We just got all caught up in relationships. It's a thing." she said, meaning she forgave him for his absence.

Benjamin shook his head and started eating his fries. "We shouldn't let it happen again, though. Sarah will probably kill us all eventually for this..."

Icarus smiled some and shook her head. "She just might if we're not careful." she joked, nibbling on her food a little. She wasn't very hungry currently. Her worries for Jethrow were getting in the way of her appetite. And the bird was really just waiting for the sheriff to come so she could ask about Jethrow. Now that he had popped into her mind, she began to worry again about the vampire, AKA her boyfriend.
