You cant expect me to be all kind and sweet when theres an explosion of power inside the poor boy's head. He's nothing but a puppet now, his own 'beast' is godeing Cymarron into an unescapable problem.

well...you can say that. Cym is rather well...Cym. nice guy, but he can be a tough fighter when he needs to be, and fiercely loyal. the Beast is rage and anger incarnate, fueled by hate. it works like this:
Cymarron eats a human/sentient being.
Cym learns everything that they know, and kinda 'relives' all thier experiences. Cym enjoys thier happiness.
the Beast feeds an thier pain, and thier angers and hates, including the thoughts they have about being killed and eaten by Cym before they die.
so when Cym gets really pissed, it compound his anger with teh anger of every person he ever ate which = the Beast a physical manifestation of that.
so rather than the jekyl/hyde kinda balance, the Beast is always stronger and pressing agaisnt cym to get out. which drives Cym to hunt more, to feed his 'good' persona witht eh happiness of others, even though it feeds the Beast to.
he's a riddle: A beast I am, lest a Beast I become.
it's Jekyl and 1000 Hydes in one body.
