The most I ever had at one time was about 420k, because I sold an 04 donation letter.
Before it sold though, that's when the scam PMs started happening and I switched to Friends Only. I also changed my password to something ridiculously complicated, just to be safe.
I'm still too paranoid to equip the sash.

I can see why you would be. Nothing scares me more than the possibility of being hacked again, and if you put something like that on, there'd be more people going after your account than ever

It's not even the possibility of being hacked, but the fact that too many failed logins means a 15 minute account block.
Some idiot Hell-bent on hacking tries every 15 minutes, and I can't get on until they stop.

Core Defense is a weird defense game. I kinda hate it, but it's also kinda simple enough that it's not impossible to figure out a winning strategy.

Some are fun, but most suck, especially the ones that scale endlessly while you can only have so great a defense. You can't win those at all, since it's just a deal of " See how long it takes them to overwhelm you. "
Defend Your Castle is a good example, but it stalemates. You can have an insane number of archers, wizards, and craftsmen that the endless scaling doesn't effect you beyond that, after like level 70, it's just damn impossible to do anything yourself, so you just sit and watch ludicrous speed enemies get slaughtered by the thousands.

I just tried to play defend your castle, and I was having a little fun, but then I spontaneously lost all my archers and wizards for no reason, then I got slaughtered...

You had too many. The upkeep cost was greater than the round's score. That'll do that to you, and it sucks.
My advice: Don't rely on the wizard spells except for conversion. That seems to nuke your score.
Also, upgrade your health once you can afford to. Suicide units do massive damage if they get through, enough to wipe out your castle if it's not upgraded at all.
