Icarus giggled softly, holding the vampire's hand. She walked him back to her vespa and got the small motor started. Once Jethrow was on comfortably, the bird took off towards the city. She passed through the now almost empty streets, heading back to the school. She enjoyed the peace and quiet, occasionally glancing at the passing scenery. Soon Icarus arrived at the school and slowly pulled into the garage. She parked the vespa and smiled softly, hugging Jethrow. "Thank you for the night out."

Icarus stayed in his embrace, though the vampire said nothing. She enjoyed the hug, relaxing in his arms and thinking that nothing would be wrong. If there was, Jethrow would tell her right? The girl shoved that to the back of her mind for now, leaning up and kissing the vampire sweetly. "Night, Jethrow." she murmured, giving him one last hug before beginning to leave the garage and head to her room for some rest.

Icarus walked to her room, taking some time to think things over. She thought about the school, Jethrow, and a lot of other things. Though she simply shrugged them off. After all, her wish was that her and Jethrow stay together always. Now she didn't put much faith in that kind of stuff, but this once she was willing to believe in that silly little dream.

Another vampire emerged from the shadows, the lanky boy grinning like a Cheshire Cat. "Look who's come crawling back to us. What's the word from that weirdo school of yours? Where's our precious little birdie?" he asked, poking at Jethrow with the blade of a small knife.

The lanky blood sucker scowled at Jethrow's sarcastic answer. The lad jammed the knife into Jethrow's side, twisting it. "You promised us food you idiotic little runt! We've been living off nothing but rabbits for the past few months! Where's the FOOD!!" he shrieked, ready to claw Jethrow's face off.

The lanky vampire snarled, holding his jaw. He adjusted it some, resetting it before speaking again. "I thought it went without saying. Whenever one of us goes out, they have to bring food back! That was the deal for everyone here!" he snapped, punching Jethrow in the stomach with surprising force. He then glanced to the other vampires and growling. "If he won't hunt and support the family just as we have, then he is worthless to us." the lanky vampire said, looking to the rest of the vampires, grinning. "What should we do, family? Tie him up somewhere and leave him to burn up in morning's light, or give him to the god of death himself?" he proposed, glaring down at Jethrow, but grinning sadistically.

The lad froze for a moment, but had no look of fear. He just remained still so the blade wouldn't scrape anything to vital. Once Jethrow's little speech was done, the vamp shoved him back into the first vampire's grasp. "Get rid of him. If he's going to throw a tantrum, then leave him behind. We should move on to the next target, if this school is protected." he mused, going back to his tent to plan a route to the next town over. No doubt there would be food a plenty there. And without Jethrow, that was one less mouth to feed and one less rebellious youngster to worry about.

The vampire worked for a few moments, plotting and planning before smirking and rolling up the map. He then grabbed a book, walking towards the noises of Jethrow being taught his place. He rose a hand. "Alright boys. I think you've beat his brains out enough." he said, handing the book to a fourth member. "Would you do the honors of sending this poor sap to the wilderness? I've marked the page." he said to the young vampire, patting their shoulder. The lad took his leave there, knowing the spell would send Jethrow to a random place and, supposedly, would wipe his memory clean. Though it had been said that the memory thing never usually kicked in, or when it did, it was only temporary.
