I also would have accepted:
This is 4.0! Standing up no longer provokes! Tripping is also impossible unless you have an ability that specifically states it knocks prone!

But then I wouldn't get to take a five-foot-step backwards from your 10 foot range, thus allowing me 2 squares open so that I can initiate a charge in which I use my feat from Complete Adventurer to make a trip attack on YOU, then use my Improved Trip feat to make a follow-up Power Attack while you're prone.
