Actually, it's "murked."
It comes from "merc" as in mercenary, but is spelled like it sounds, phonetically, because everyone who originated that slang were retarded.
Similar to how many ******** spell retarded "retarted." It's how it sounds (to them).
Also, I just won a towel whipping game. Kicked up a towel with the dog's piss in it into the guy's face, used that moment to disarm their towel with a well placed whip, and then welted both of their arms with dual-towel-whipping action before the first towel could hit the ground.
Damn I'm good.

I always thought it was murked like the same way there are guttersnipes and s**t. Murky as in like shady or whatever, so when you get murked, it's like when you get ghosted - as opposed to flat out openly getting killed. Just lots of mercs... murk people.
Or whatever. It's one of those things you rarely if ever need to spell.
