"You'd think that they'd start putting in a few traps at least. To slow us down or maybe even kill us. But no, they have to follow a budget."
Storm's tone showed how little she thought of that.

Kibo chuckles.
Kibo: [jokingly] Damn government, with your sense of foresight.

Storm chucked a bottle at his head, missing by several feet to shatter against a wall. She'd become slightly tispy during the last hour or so and the damn room wouldn't stop spinning.
"I'm sure you mock because you haven't had to deal with that."

Kibo: Of course not! If you're running low, steal some more! That's my motto.

"Ai, and what happens when there is no more t' steal? What'll you do then?"

Kibo: When we steal, we buy things. The store owners then pay taxes, which are shipped overseas, where pirates raid the ships, and steal them. They then bring them to Tortuga, where they're free for the taking. Unless every coin in the world was sent to the depths, there'll always be money to steal. It's called economy, love.

"An' how far would you go t' get your gold? The New World? The Far East? Would you brave the winter storms for just a bit of shine? Economy wouldn't matter if there wasn't anyone t' spend said gold or mint more."

Kibo: For every one coin that's sent off to some other country, there's 10 more that stay in the same area. And as long as there's still people left, there'll always be someone to spend said gold.

Storm laughed, even though it wasn't really funny. For some reason, her speech was getting more slurred by the word.
"Fine, I fold. There'll always be gold t' spend. An' there'll always be someone there t' spend it, I s'pose. If the' get there befor' ye do, th't is."

Storm saw Natasha roll her eyes and frowned. Her laugh lines crinkled in the center of her forehead with concentration as Storm tried to get her words out semi coherently.
"An' does th' Mistress Natasha 'ave something t' add t' our lovely conversation?"

Natasha smiles, "I'm sure he'll add something to the conversation soon."
She kicked the hatch closed and locked it. Replacing the key to it's place beneath her bow.
