Mytrax blinked at the dismay from Shard. She wasn't aware that social protocol dictated that she inform him of her graduation. "I apologize. I did not know I should have contacted you about it." And she meant it. She knew relations between chimeras and baphomets were strained at best and she really didn't want to add any more fuel to that fire.

Shard knew he had to do a lot of catching up. "Nah, nah forget it. Which Uni did you pick?" He asked and learned that she was attending Asterion. "Huh, I figured you were more of a Leviathan."

Wayne kept wandering around, passing up on the offered treats and tricks.
It was hard for Amihan to calm down when she was excited about something. Especially when it was something she could share and experience with her family. But she did her very best to follow Habagat's example (because after all she was the older sister) and squatted down, trying to minimize her bouncing on her heels. She considered grabbing for a plushie to lure the familiar closer to her and randomly picked the closest one within reach. She wasn't being picky or anything, it was probably going to end up thoroughly shredded after the vespercat had its way with it.
"Heeeeere kitty, kitty~" she called out to the familiar.

This is Avi. See Avi scowl. See Avi scowl over how friggin' embarrassing his family was being over some dumb familiar! Sure, he supposes that the vespercat and the flitterat both had some funky differences from your regular run of the mill familiars. But they were still just familiars. They weren't cool or dark. Not like they were dangerous or anything.
He didn't get why his mum and Uncle Gat were so excited. He got why Honey was because she was a dumb freshling and dumb babies get excited over anything and everything. He was grown up and therefore he was better than this whole dumb thing. He wished he could go back home to listen to his music or read his books. He was going to be a cool guy and this was not helping him become one! Ugh why couldn't his family get that?
And when Honey started acting dumber than usual and got a plushie for it, Avi wanted to smack his palm against his face. That's just going to encourage Honey!

Honey's ears pricked up at the cooing her mommy was making, and her twin tails swayed excitedly despite herself. She should try helping her Uncle Gat and mommy draw the vespercat closer and not scare it off but she wasn't sure how to go about it. Chewing on her lower lip for a moment, Honey eventually decided to get down on all fours and try to act like a vespercat. She was making audible purring noises to appear non-threatening and welcoming.
Instead she felt a hand gently pet her head. Looking up she saw it was Uncle Gat with an amused look on his face. And apparently one of the nearby booth owners found her antics amusing as well and was tossed a doll for her troubles.

Habagat let the flitterat climb up his leg and perch on his shoulder. He smiled and chuckled softly, carefully raising a hand to let the familiar get a good sniff of his hand. Another plushie was tossed at his adopted niece and instinctively his hand darted out to catch it before it beaned the bakeneko.
He turned to the stall owner whose good intentions might have caused them issues and so the glare he shot wasn't nearly as murderous as he would have normally made it. "Well, I guess this means we're going to keep you both."
And the plushie magnetism just continued. Much to Narra's dismay because what was he going to do with all these plushies? No, seriously. What was he going to do with them all? He wasn't fond of the soft things, cute as they were, but he'd gathered enough for his family back home.

Had Renge known of her older brother's predicament, she would have happily volunteered to take in all the wayward and unwanted plushies coming his way. But because she didn't know, she still stuck close to him and happily grabbed another plushie.

C.C. wanted out! C.C. had had enough and so she was leaving!
Well, Reegan sure felt like she'd "socialized" (yes, with quotation marks and everything) enough. It wasn't as if she wanted any of the treats or that she wanted to give anything to the freshlings when they came out of their stones. She wasn't even sure she and Tora would manage stones.

Jerome smirked as he grabbed for one of the candied treats. He was bringing a little gift for his special friend (yes, he does consider it as a bribe and would say so up front.)

Trudy shuffled about from booth to booth, happy with the little rock-thing she got. It brought her luck of sorts because she was being given candy and not being shooed away.
Trixie glanced towards Helena, wondering what the little Grimm was talking about. Oh, she was sharing her candy? That was so sweet! And Trixie said as much, "Oh Helena, that is so sweet and generous of you! But be sure to let me or another adult check the candy first. Here, give it to me so I can make sure that it's safe to eat." She let go of Kapit in order to reach for the candy the Grimm was offering Xelva.
It's not that she believed anyone would be so cruel as to put something awful in the candy, but it might be a trick that was disguised as a treat. She couldn't be too careful after all.

Xelva wasn't able to take so much as a bite before Trixie went and took the candy away. But it was for a good reason, right? The little hybrid couldn't even begin to imagine that her mum would be mean for no reason. And taking candy away for no reason was mean, especially when it was a gift a friend was sharing with her!
So she gave her mum a hopeful look while holding onto Helena's hand in solidarity. And then was surprised to find Kapit was putting himself between her and Helena. "Kap?"

Kapit had been trying to come up with an excuse or a good reason to let go of Trixie's hand so he could run over and place himself where he belonged and that was beside Xelva! So when the older Nixie decided to let go on her own, Kapit took this opportunity to rush off and literally get between the hybrid and Grimm.
He narrowed his pink eyes and smiled a mocking and triumphant smile at Helena, "Looks like Miss Trixie doesn't trust you or your candy. And I don't blame her. Imagine, it could be a bad-tasting candy and you were going to let Xelva try some!" He snorted and slipped his arm into the crook of Xelva's elbow. "Don't worry, Xelly, I'll make sure you only get the best stuff!"

Helena wasn't entirely sure what had happened. One minute she was offering something yummy to Xelva partly because she wanted to make Kapit livid with jealousy, and partly because she liked Xelva and genuinely wanted to share something with her. She felt a little bit hurt that Trixie didn't trust her and actually had to take the candy away. She was tempted to cry when she was forcibly shoved aside by the Naiad.
The Grimm's jaw dropped in shock that someone would do such a thing! (Well she would but she didn't think anyone else would.) "H-hey! Why'd you go and do that for?" she demanded, baring her fangs as her hackles rose. She and Kapit weren't on friendly terms as it was and this was seriously something that Helena felt warranted a fight. Or at least a couple of bites and lots of growling. No one treated Helena that way! Especially not some weird Naiad with sharing problems.
Dagger's eyes widened at Sheist's words. The naga knew! The naga clearly knew what she'd don. So why was he purposely pretending he didn't while showing he did? The naiad pursed her lips and was about to retort when Trevor handed her a bracelet. She could always trust the bakeneko to diffuse the situation and with a smile she slipped it on.

Trevor just gave Sheist a knowing look and what he thought was a pleading look that came across more as a warning for the naga to behave.
Tag risked a glance over his shoulder to see if his older cousin understood the snub. But when he found he couldn't see where the older Kirin had gone, Tag's tail flicked in irritation behind him. How dare Petro snub the fact that Tag snubbed him!

Kal wanted to keep looking. They were going to find the ultimate thing at Haunted Hallows and then they were going to attain it. Somehow. They weren't sure exactly what or how just yet. The answer will come to them eventually.
Vanna kind of felt sorry for familiar and seeing as the other familiars had been caught and everything was okay. he put one hand on the pumpka and beckoned Ren over. "Its lonely. Go tell it, its fine" Vanna stated before snapping his fingers and sparking a flame around them which he used to ignite the candle again. There were some perks to being a Chimera after all. You didn't have to carry around matches to wake up your pumpka. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Mai caught her breath as she kept up with the boys. They were definitely doing a lot of running today, but it was okay she felt pretty well today. She waved Vanna off when he looked back at her all worried, but she was okay. the air hear was definitely warmer than up in the mountain where she grew up. Then again she had almost just tripped over a plushie so maybe Vanna's concern was warranted. She picked it up. Noticed it looked a little beat up already and decided to rescue it by placing it in her bag. 'Yeah they look like they're okay. Still its lucky this little guy was here. I've heard how Pumpka can definitely give you a run for your money." Mai replied considering Vanna had directed Ren over to deal with the now awakened pumpka. ------------------------------------------------------ "Yeah they're all okay" Ren stated checking on them. In fact most of them looked like they had liked the impromptu ride. Still he felt bad that he had lead to another problem. He was just glad that no one really seemed that mad, although his heart did jump a bit when Vanna suddenly grabbed him and wheeled him over to the pumpka. He wasn't sure how Vanna was always soo good with animals but he didnt question the older man. Soon they had a reawakened pumka on the verge of crying?
"Hey there little guy. There's no need to steal all the other familiars. I would have taken you home if you wanted." Ren stated and watched as the pumpka looked kind of sheepish. "Come on. I promise we wont blow out the candle again and you can come with u-" Ren trailed off as suddenly the pumpka jumped up so that Ren was hugging it. ----------------------------------------------------- “Okay but it’s pointless” Salem stated barely keeping his voice from being all sing song like. Still they eventually got over to the skyfish booth. Salem paid for a couple turns although the net broke when he caught a couple. Eventually he managed to successfully catch a green and white one that sort of reminded him of some of Samhain’s familiars. The vendor handed him over a plushie. Well Samhain seemed to think it was cute, but he was the one that was out so he’d have to carry it with all the other ‘cute’ things.
"hmm yeah I think I got a necklace like that a while back. The glow is pretty cool, although I'd have to say the colors match me more" he teased.

He was really glad that she liked them, after all he knew a couple of different people that once they had moved seemed to put down everything that was different from their country.
Yami gave her a weird look for a second, almost as if he was wondering why she was asking him about work, but it was only for a second before his mind caught up. The Café work. Tempo after all didn’t know about the other kind of work and he was quite happy to keep it that way. “Ah nothing much. Dad introduced a couple of new drinks for the fall season. It seems to be a really big hit with customers so it’s busy, busy busy. Amatsu apparently rescued kittens with the hybrid he ran off with so we’ve been adjusting to that.” -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Uhuh and someone wasn’t paying attention in Science classes, some of the more fluffy races will grow out of their fluffiness as they get older” Layren replied shaking his head. He resisted the urge to slap the back of thayne’s head for the snickering. “Yeah, yeah we can go trick or treating I guess” after all he definitely wasn’t going to go to a haunted house or anything that had the potential to scare Thayne. Nope. They were getting on the edge of being too old to be trick or treating but some of the vendors let you go around until you were about 15. Even then enough people walked around with free plates of candy it was almost like trick or treating.
He did however finally smile, and smile fondly, when Thayne rescued the plushie. His friend would definitely give it a good home. ------------------------------------------- “yes I can” Acheron replied folding his arms now that the source of free candy was safely away and he didn’t have to pretend to be charming. “Like I mentioned, I would assume your festival has people and people no matter where they are…. No never mind it’s not worth it” Acheron yawned and listened to the geist explain why they were here. Ah home sickness… should have figured. “Yes but I have to be here” Acheron stated. He normally wasn’t one to tell personal details but it wasn’t like he was ever going to see the geist past tonight and it wouldn’t hurt. “otherwise they’ll try shuffling me off again to some family I definitely don’t get along with”
Gilly giggled a little as Soop twitched his tail in agitation at their latest score; he had gotten them to a place that gave candy, but it was the crummy kind that tasted like fakey peanut butter dog treats and candycorn tears. Though she wasn't planning to eat the candy, she still had to smile at her poor little friend; it wasn't his fault that the candy wasn't good; he just wanted to find her more candy! She reached down and scratched behind his ears. "That's okay; you found us some really good stuff tonight! And you're the best treat of all!" Gilly blinked suddenly and looked over at her friend Zoe, realizing something that had been escaping her all night. She felt suddenly sad, and a passing caretaker mistook her look for sadness at being given bad candy and handed her a plush bat, which distracted her for a moment to look at it with a big smile, missing the sudden hard look the caretaker gave to them before quickly vanishing into the crowd. She made herself focus back to her friend, and she looked down at her new plush with a conflicted look on her face before looking around at the crowd, not answering when her friend asked her what the matter was. Suddenly, she saw something she was looking for; an older kid with something she really needed to have at that moment! She walked up to him, having to tug on his prince's robe to get his attention, as he had a squalling familiar on each shoulder. "Hey, mister prince sir; can I trade you something for one of those?" She held up her bat plushie, the one she just got. "Maybe this?" When she came back to Zoe, she was beaming and holding a squirming creature in her arms. She cleared her throat and presented it to Zoe. "H-here, Zoe; I want you to have this. It's a thank-you for coming with me tonight and......you know, running off from the caretakers. I know you don't like that sort of thing, and I want to say I'm sorry too, and well.....I got Soop and you should have a friend too." She smiled as her gift seemed well-received, and was just going to suggest that they sally forth for more candy, when she felt a heavy hand on her shoulder. Whirling around in fright, thinking that the thief had come back, she was surprised to see the stern face of one of the caretakers that had taken them to the festival; apparently they had caught up with them at last. "Uh-oh".......
Zoe had gotten better luck than her friend this time; the chocolate bat was slightly melty, but she imagined it would taste wonderful. She listened to Gilly talking to her vespercat and she smiled to herself; it really was a wonderful treat to get a little friend. Pity none of the critters running around had taken a liking to her..... She suddenly noticed that Gilly had stopped speaking and was looking around for something. "Gilly, what is it?" she asked curiously, and got no reply in return. She was about to ask again when her friend suddenly took off into the crowd. "Gilly!" she called out, a bit annoyed; when will her friend learn that it was better if they stuck together! Her irritation left her when she saw her friend returning without her new bat plush and holding what seemed to her to be the most wondrous creature she had ever seen. The colors were so lovely, and the eyes seemed to fix her with a sort of pathetic eagerness. She gasped as she heard her friend's explanation, and held out her arms to accept the creature with happy tears in her eyes. "Gilly.......thank you. And don't worry; I've had the most fun with you tonight." She smiled down at the creature, who seemed content to wrap it's strangely stitched arms around her reaper's cloak. She suddenly noticed something behind Gilly and gasped just as her friend had noticed the caretakers behind her. She knew that this was the end of their night out for sure, but at least they had had some good fun! As they were led back to the dorms, she noticed the giver of the bat plushie looking on from a short ways away, and she suddenly realized who must have run off to tell the caretakers where their missing charges were. Indulging in a rather uncharacteristic moment of childishness, she poked her tongue out at him as she walked by. "Tattle-tale!"
Ruari had just visited the house before the two freshlings, and so he was graced with the same candy that Gilly had gotten. He didn't have to look too hard at it to know it was icky and not worth tasting. Ah well, maybe he could pass it out to the next brat who visited the circus and left his candy apple stuck to the circus tent. Suddenly he looked down as he felt a tug on his robe and saw a strange creature looking up at him beseechingly. "Well well, what have we here?" He reached down and scooped it up, but a low growl in his ear made him pause. "What's wrong, Rumor; don't you like your new friend?" An answering hiss and a swipe with extended claws that barely missed the creature's nose was all the answer needed. Ruari placed the shaken revenant on his other shoulder, but quickly realized that he wasn't going to get any peace that way; Rumor kept wanting to cross the back of his neck to attack the newcomer, and the latter wanted to slide down his robe to escape the unjust wrath of the vespercat. Another tug on his robe caused him to look down, hoping it wasn't another critter come to play war on his shoulders. But instead it was a freshling, dressed up in a sea monster costume and asking imploringly if he would trade a familiar for the plushie she held out to him. His first impulse was to turn her down, but he reconsidered; he didn't have a treat like the bat plush, nor had he seen it anywhere at the fair yet, and he couldn't keep on with quarreling familiars on his person. Almost as though reading his thoughts, the revenant leaped down and into the freshling's arms, almost causing her to drop her offering. Taking up the bat plush, Ruari bade the little one a princely adeiu before walking off, tucking the plush into his pail and chuckling at Rumor, who had calmed considerably since the revenant had left. "Wanted me all to yourself, did you?" He laughed at the answering purr and continued to explore the fairgrounds.
Lilo still wasn't entirely sure why they had decided to come to this thing. The young Baphomet had been content just sitting in their dorm room and scrolling mindlessly through different websites to waste time. Well not much they could do about it now, Lilo was here and that's all there was to it. Hopefully they wouldn't have to interact with many people...though there was a certain Imp that Lilo wouldn't mind running in to.
Upon entering the festivities someone ran up to them and thrust a small bag of candy corn into their hands. Lilo couldn't help but smile slightly, people were dressed in costumes and there was a lot to take in. Maybe this wouldn't be too bad after all. Lilo picked a small table off to the side to just sit and observe for a moment. There sure were a lot of people here...
Frit didn't really understand the holiday. She wandered around, looking at all the candies and treats, but wasn't sure what to make of any of this. Someone came and offered her a bucket and a lantern. Frit looked at the bucket, then up to the person who had given it to them. The stranger tried to shoo Frit away so they could go gather candy, but all the freshling did was hold up the bucket. "Oh fine! Have a treat. No run along and get lots more candies." More candy? For free? Well, this could be ok.
Muridae: 12 Treat!
Muridae was really nervous looking around the festival, she had been working for a little bit now, and here was this big event. Muridae wasn't used to this sort of life at all, so she stayed off to the shadows watching everyone for a little bit before walking over to any of the booths to look at anything. Muridae picked up the shiny locket and felt the sadness coming off the object in waves. She shivered and then looked for something else to do, to try and was away the feeling. She put the locket in her pocket and moved on. Muridae found another game to play, one that made her feel more comfortable a dart game. A game of sport. Muridae lined up her shot and threw the dart sticking it in the board.
Stachys: 6 Treat! Plushie!
Stachys grinned at the caretakers, he was dressed up as a dragon. So he could pretend he could fly all night. He growled and pretended to breathe fire as he ran up to his first stop for the night. He made funny faces at the strange turnip looking thing he was given, that certainly wasn't candy. Stachys ran over to a different booth, a caretaker following him the whole way. He grinned he was going to make sure this caretaker slept well when she was all over. Stachys jumped up and down when he saw a catch the fish gab and he got a little wet trying to catch the goldfish.
Eudica: 9 Trick! Plushie!
Trotting happily through rows of booths and clusters of trick or treaters, Eudica found herself inhaling the chill, spice scented air. Really, this was absolutely one of her favorite times of the year. The costumes, the games, the treats... It was all so wonderful. And to think, she mused silently as she took a turn at the pitching game, there are races around that had never experienced this before. Really, it boggled the mind a little bit! She came back to the present as the imp in charge of the game smiled and handed her a little ghostie treat. Smiling back, she turned to find another game to play when her she tripped slightly over a seemingly discarded plushie. Picking it up, she dusted the thing off and considered for a moment. She didn't see or hear anyone worrying about a lost toy.
Abrus: 11 Trick!
When Abrus arrived he spent some time listening to the happy screaming freshlings, watching how the caretakers took such amazing care of the freshlings. Abrus watched, how they worked, he was really amazed how they were able to keep track of so many freshlings running around trick or treating. After a little while, Abrus turned and headed to explore the booths of the festival. He picked up a lantern and started looking around the booths to see what there was to do at this event. Abrus frowned as he picked from a grab bag and picked up a strange glowy stone it was really pretty, but it felt so sad.. maybe if he kept it in a box or a glass case it would be ok.
Travesty was still holding onto his sister's hand at the next booth, he won a ghost and a plushie this time!
Facade nibbled her fingers, tilting her head to one side when she was handed a little ghost decoration.
Banshee was petting Taboo's vespercat when she noticed that another vespercat had wandered up to them. This one was seeming a bit more interested in Banshee than Taboo, had that meant she finally got a familiar?
Taboo smirked a little, happy that his sister had gotten a familiar! He went to pet it when he noticed that there was a Revenant trying to get his attention, it was so cute!
Rina watched people flocking toward the lines as she nibbled on her cotton candy. She decided it was time to take a short break before going back to trick or treating.
Korr smiled when he recieved a cute little bracelet! He immediately slipped it on his wrist.
Cass got a cotton candy from his next booth! It was really sweet though, he wondered if his sister would like some.
Arari hugged the cute little baby plushie they got! It wasn't as cute as a familiar, but it was kind of neat! They put it in their bucket before moving toward the next line.
Hiroshi was humming to himself as he reached the next game. He was in a pretty good mood and had even managed to win a cute little skeleton plushie!
Aramina was having a good time, she loved Haunted Hallow! She got a cute little ghost from the next game, more than happy to use it as a decoration in her house when she got home.
Lilium shuttered, nibbling on her lower lip when the two of them got to a booth. The girl there just smiled at her, which made Lilium slightly suspicious, but she just dropped a plushie in Lilium's bucket.
Zynas shook his head, but there was a light-hearted smirk on his face. When he got a little ghost, he thanked the girl for both of them. Maybe Lilium was better with the ladies than even he was, from the fact that the girl was still looking at her as they left.
Ashai still wasn't sure what to do at this event, but she was glad to be out of the house. She came to the next booth and tossed a coin at the bottles. Hers bounced for a while until it landed in a red one. She blinked when a familiar was handed her.
Lasia was a bit surprised that Ashai had such good luck! Her own luck waned a bit when she ended up winning a trick, not even a treat, from the game.
Affinity grabbed a pail and started to looking around the event. He ended up getting a little lollipop at one of the booths, it actually tasted pretty good!
Basil clung to their bucket as they looked around at the crowd. They moved and felt their foot hit something solid. They cringed in pain for a moment before looking down and noticing it was a rock familiar! How odd!
