I can't imagine the controls vary greatly from small transport to small transport, and I also didn't know there were security codes. I can edit, if you like.
Mon Calamar design is pretty different from standard Republic ships because most of them are designed for amphibious needs and uses, including the insides, to reflect on the species that uses them. Most controls are usually in the Mon Calamar language, too.
I am only sad about it because I made a point of mentioning it at least once... I thought I did mention the codes too, but I can't be sure because I re-wrote Malo's posts a few times before posting so they wouldn't be tl;dr and that might have gotten nipped.
Although, this is a ship that she's been living on for five years and she, being a semi-experienced smuggler and having dodged the laws of Republic & IMP space long enough I can't see why she wouldn't have security codes in place, especially in this circumstance where she's aware that her new passenger isn't in the least trustworthy.
You know I don't demand re-writes because they are a pain, so if you'd prefer to compromise with brainstorming behind the scenes explanations then we can do that!! Or if you prefer to edit it is up to you, lol.
I can always suck it up, too. I just wanted to say that I am a sad panda.
