"Yeah me either, cuz I was seeing funny things that weren't actually my fault." Tala added, " Lemme look." She darted into the kitchen, and about 12 seconds later a "WHOOHOO!" came from the kitchen. Tala came into the living room carrying most of a 24 case of Mountain Dew.
Jaime rolled his eyes, "I'm not so sure you two need any caffiene."
Tala stuck out her tongue at Jaime as she handed Damian a can and giggled. Upon closer inspection, the can read Mountain Shrimp and had a picture of little shrimps on it.

 Damian looked at the can for a sec, his look of what the hell went to a slightly evil face.he shook it and opened it toward Tala spraying her with his mountain shrimp.

Kit and Kurai talked a little while longer before noises downstairs caught the foxes attention. "Sounds like they're havin' fun..." She said, her words only very slightly slurred, then took another shot glass sized sip of her whiskey.
"Think we should call him up 'ere to talk 'bout this stuff or let him play with the children?" She asked Kurai.

"Mebbe after we finish the drinks. Don't wanna make him TOO welcome do we? Or mebbe so, there's thiz saying about loosh lips." Kurai was slurring very slightly, though her accent made it harder to tell.
Tala laughd and threw up a shield and gave it ust enough reality for a split second that it caused most of the soda to arc back at Damian. At the same time, she dispelled the can's illusion.
Jaime sighed and snagged both Tala and Damain by the backs of their collars. "All right children..." he said letting the sentence hang, dripping with a definate undercurrent of hostility.
Tala let out a sound sort of like "EEP!" as she was hoisted. She was freaked at Jaime's first real display of emotion.

"Ah ******** it. Might as well get it ********' over with before we're to sloshed." She said then scooted herself over to the door, not really feeling like standing, and yelled out as loud as she could, "OI! OI, RED EYES!..." She paused and snickered. "GAMBIT, C'MERE WOULDCHA?"
She scooted back over to Kurai and snickered before taking another drink of her whiskey and refilling the glass. "Y'know, luv, I feel better then I have all day."

Damian attempted to dive out of the way of the soda but failed getting his side all wet including his hair. "we're just playing" Damian said before perking up for a sec thinking kit was calling him, until he moped again cause she called gambit instead.

When Damian went into the kitchen for a drink Gambit looked over at the black screen on the TV. Not bothering to turn it back on he laid back and closed his eyes trying to relax. When he heard Damian if he wanted anything to drink Gambit shook his head and said, "Nop', I'm fine." When he came back with a strangely named drink Gambit opened his eyes and noticed what it was and closed them again. With a strange expression on his face he thought to himself, 'Now where you gonna' find a drink like that at?'
Not long after Damian came back with strange sodas he heard Kit calling his name. Getting up he patted Damian on the back and said to him, "Buck up, don' look so sad." Walking up stairs he reached the door and peeked inside. With a puzzled look on his face Gambit asked, "Y'all rang Mon Ami?"

"Have a seat." Kit said after finishing off her glass and setting it down next to her. Once Gambit was in and seated in a bean bag chair opposite of her and Kurai Kit put the papers she had in her hand down in front of her and looked at him. "Now, you can take this any way you want, I really could care less. We did some minor research on you and are in the process of doing more. We don't usually just trust people who blow s**t up on the street then hitch a ride with a car full of strangers."
Kit shrugged. "But obviously I felt that I could trust you to the point that I've brought you here. Now here's the thing, what we have so far says you used to work under Xavier but don't anymore. Who do you work for now, if anyone, and why are you back in Bayville?" She asked, her eyes narrowed slightly as she gazed into his. She wouldn't let him look away otherwise she'd think he was lying about something.

As she continued Gambit took note of the key things she said before having his say so. When she was finished Gambit cleared his throat and looked at Kit as he said, "Alright, well I don' blame you for lookin' into me since you just met me an all, but you could ask Ol' Gambit before you go abou' all that. And I never worked for Xavier, I lived with him as an X-man. Now I'm out of work and looking for somethin' to do which is why I was headin' towar' a hotel for the night." When he was finished he scratched his chin and looked at Kurai and ask them both, "So is there anything else y'all wanna' know?"

"Whadda ya say, Kitty? I mean Kit? I say we keep an eye on him, he turnsh on us, we let Damian and Tala get a lil extra practice on him." Kurai looked over at Kit and back at Gambit, wobbling just slightly with the motion.
Jaime shook both damien and Tala, and said, "Calm the hell down. Why don't you two go chill online or something?" He plopped them both down hard on the couch.
Tala just nodded and took off for her room as soon as Jaime put her down.

"but i gots no computer...." Damian said meekly, Jamie scared him a little. he pulled his feet up on to the couch and rested his chin on his knees. looking up at Jamie's standing level. "i don't think i ever had a computer of my own..." (could i have the BH land or what XD they been in the air for a bit or are we catching the other characters up to the same time line)

"yay" Damian said hooping off the couch but not making a smooth landing. after a loud thud and an 'I'm ok!' Damian ran/tripped up the stairs and to Jamie's room where the computer was set up. the office chair seemed more fun than the computer so Damian jumped on it a little too quick and ended up launching him self to the one wall with out anything potentially breakable and crashed. "that was awesome!" could be heard all the way downstairs

"I know we coulda asked man, but we got a fairly large group of mutants that are non-to happy with us so we just had to check." She said as she filled her glass half way then emptied it with one shot. Kit winced at the burning sensation then shook her head. "Well, if its somethin' to do you want then you can hang with us for a bit." She then glanced over at Kurai and took her glass away from her. "No more for you."
"Anyways, I can't think of anything else I have to ask or want to know right now. Oh and this is the room you'll be crashing in. I'll have to find a cot or something for you to sleep on."
(Totally forgot about Toady-kins and the rest of the brotherhood XD my bad)
After having gotten the go-ahead from Sabertooth he was able to land the jet in a large part of the cave hideout where the beast-like man was waiting for them. Mortimer and the rest of his team exited the jet and Sabertooth grinned. "Took you long enough to come crawling back up here to my group, Toad." "Shut the bleedin' hell up. You know I'm only up here because of what happened in Bayville." Sabertooth sneered then turned on his heel and started walking. "Lets go then, Morty." Toad followed the over-grown beast with his team down into a tunnel that eventually opened up into a very large open space that had several openings leading off into different parts of the mountain the cave was in.
"Sleeping areas are down that corridor. No cell reception in this place so you'll have to go to town to call the boss." Sabertooth said then disappeared into one of the openings opposite the one he pointed out. "Well, he's still as friendly as ever the t**t."

 "Meh." Kurai stood, and scuffing Gambit's hair as she went by, went down the hall to her room, warning Damian to be careful as she passed Jaime's room. Collapsing onto her bed, she slid and fell off the other side with a thump. "Damn satin sheets." She got back in more carefully and laid back. Tala was in her room surfing on her favorite site, she only needed 4721 more gold for the Mythic Hair she was questing.Jaime snored lightly on the couch.(lol even mutants heart Gaia!)
