She sobered under his touches, gold sparking and eyes half closing for a moment, givng a soft moan...before Piper laughed again, bracing her hands against Malik's chest and pushing against him some to fend him off. She knew exactly what he was trying to do and how possibly good he could be at it. "No no no. You can't know. At least not yet. It's a mother daughter thing." And no, it wasn't a wedding dress deal either. That was a human thing. " Last I checked you are not my mother." In all actuality it was sitting on her dresser, wrapped up in brown paper. Though it wasn't particularly anything distinguishible...well Malik wouldn't get it anyway. It was an Andal thing. Though with little effort shesat up some, taking to stradling Malik while her hands grabbed at his wrists, pushing them down to the mattress and holding them there. "No, you aren't going to get anything that way, Malik D'Vinn. You'll get to see...in due time. When it's done. You wouldn't want to ruin a good surprise would you now?"

She muttered a few more things under her breath and then lifting up yet another rock found what she was looking for. It looked a bit like a muskrat but with long fangs and claws and beadly little eyes. Voila, a dommell. Don't ask her why the hell it was called that, because she had not a clue. Vicious little creatures they snapped at everything whether it was food or not and loved to dig those claws into elven skin. The little beast tried spearing her boot but she moved quick enough and slammed that rock down on top of him, killing him instantly. Quick and clean and everything still intact since she didn't know which part of him she'd be using. Shoving the carcass into her bag she kept on walking. She needed two more animals and they shouldn't be too hard to find. Violet eyes pierced the night and her ears perked up and hten she heard it. The squeak of a bat. She stepped carefully searching for the origin of the sound and found it a moment later hanging upside down from a pile of rocks. Well this would be rather simple. She grabbed the first one she saw, and with one quick move with her forefinger and thumb snapped its neck and shoved it in the bag. Now a lizard and she'd be done. "I have to have all these ingredients?"

"I don't know, do you? You looked at the list, right?" There he was, being evasive again. He was determined to point out to her that he wasn't helping with this part. If she wanted to rune, she would have to provide herself the means to.

Of course there were two formula's to this concoction. The one the surface elven rune mages had devised and the one the drow had devised for thier own rune mages so that they didn't have to leave the Underdark for ingrediants. They were naturally using the Underdark one...it wasn't too pretty a thing to collect everything needed.

"If you think you're done then we can go on back to the fortress."

"Well I got the fuzzball, stupid thing, and the flying squeaker so now I need the vicious reptile." Stupid lizards. Damn she hated those more than the rat. And they were hard to find too since they blended in so very nicely with the Underdark moss. But she walked along, eyes glued to the ground searching for the barest flick of a tail or sight of a tongue. And there it was. Oh look, there were two of them laying in the grass. How cute. She eyed them for a moment and then tossed a rock in between them to split them up. They took off in different directions and she went after one. Leading him on a merry little chase as the other one came after her, she saw one raising the spines on it's back to release them and stood still waiting. She knew the other one was behind her and she timed it perfectly, jumping out of the way as those spines came towards her and the lizard effectively killed its mate for her. Ah relationships, they never lasted. She quickly scooped up the carcass and shoved it in the bag then tossed another rock at the other to get it to scurry along. She felt no remorse as the female would have eaten the male as soon as she was pregnant anyway, women were vicious in the Underdark. "Alright. Now we can go because I've got everything." Indeed, everythign that needed to be killed had been killed and everything that needed to be plucked, had been plucked. So she spun and started walking back to Triumverate Fortress.

Hey it was at least amusing for him to watch lizards chase her around a moment. Pity she was so inventive. But he only nodded at her, shoving his hands in his pockets. "If you say so." Because he was mentally tallying things in his head, yes she did have everything, but did she know that? And if he tried to tell her otherwise would she correct him.

Fun questions. But he lazily followed her back to the fortress. Well...Malik's kitchen would get messy again and it probably wouldn't smell so good either. But hey, open a few windows, give the place a good scrub down...eh it'd be fine. Coming back to the Fortress he returned to the dinning room, and thier books. A tap of a finger on the one the list was gotten from. "Grab this and let's head to the kitchen then."

Malik grinned up at her, and had a witty remark before he heard the door closing. someone was back..or had they just left? hmm. either way..no more screamign for her today...for now.

"Well...I do enjoy a good surprise. it is a good one, right?"

hey he coudl still ask questions and dig a little bit...before rolling her over on her back and looking down at her, before giving her something to squeal a bit about. another hour or so of enjoyment, before they woudl both probably have to go and stop Zahara or Sevilin from killing one another or throwing things again.

"Well...you reacted well before so yes, yes it is a good one A'mael." Then she noticed she was in trouble and lots of it too as suddenly she was on the bottom again. Though she wasn't complaining...she'd be later when she could barely talk....yeah that would make her day complete wouldn't it? OH wait...Sevilin was here still wasn't he? What time was it...oh hell she didn't need to have him hear her screaming... Though that didn't stop Malik from making her now did it?

She was rather proud of herself though she'd never openly admit it. After all, these things must be kept in modesty. And it would do her no good to gloat around Sevilin. So she merely followed him into the dining room with her bag and then picked up the book and headed to the kitchen. Dead animals were taken out of the bag and lined up on a sheet of wax paper for cleaning purposes and next to the carcasses the plants were set. She flipped open the book to the recipe to mkae sure she got everything and then glanced at Sev, "Alright teacher, teach. What's next?"

Well...at least she was clean about it. Though he look over the page a moment before laying a finger tip to it, runing something and the text on the page shifted. Hidden instructions to how to concoct this little aid. "Pretty simple, you throw it in a pot, boiling it down, strain it a bit, get a good consistency. Your basic potion making in your case."

But he reached a hand to her hip, in a quick flash pulling out her dagger from it's sheath on her thigh and held it out to her, hilt first. "But first, you gotta bleed the animals. Hurry up before it starts to congeal."

After a little bit of relaxation, time to get up. another stretch, and then back up, getting dressed in his common silks, and a smile at Piper.

"So...ready to face the darker drow? or not today?"

A grin at her, before going back down stairs and to the kitchen, and glancing at the two other drow with a perfectly calm, serious face. Potion making. joy.

"Try not to make too large a mess with that stuff. and if anything can be used necromantically from teh leftovers, let me know."

Then over to the fridge, and grabbing some fruit, and back out to go over any possible deals or sales from the various places.

She nodded and got slightly worried when he reached toward her and even more suspicious and pissed off when he pulled her dagger. Son of a b***h, what the hell was he doing? Handing it to her to where she could cut him rather easily with teh blade it appeared. But if that's what he wanted to do, then fine. She took the blade and nodded, and then in a quick motion sliced all three and bled them into vials. Most of the blood was red in various sheds although the lizards was bluish for some odd reason. "Alright, now everything goes in." Pot was gotten out, a big enough one for the potion they were making and filled wiht water then set on the stove to boil. She hissed at Malik, "Yeah right, as if I'd actually help you, you b*****d..." but he was already gone and he probably hadn't heard her anyway.

"Depends? May I hit him in the face with something hard and blunt to break his cheekbones?" Ooh. That sounded nice. Sometimes the things that came out of her were surprising. But she didn't have her answer as he went off. That man was so get up and go...barely knew the meaning of be lazy...and he probably only knew it because she lazed around sometimes. But with a sigh she got herself up, slowly of course, and dressed herself in her usual manner, but today throwing on looser pants and opting for that wonderful blaringly bright red and gold favored tunic of hers. Socks and boots were pulled on, and then her bandana was fetched from the dresser and after she brushed her hair, it was tied on, pinning back her ears this time. Alright then, time for her to go check on some horses.

"We'll keep it tidy. Morning to you too, Lord D'Vinn." Though his attention went back to Zahara who was being her. "Yup, everything in the pot, don't add anything else." Though he had rolled his eyes as she took to already throwing a temper at Malik...well at least it wasn't him. He could use a damn break...at least she'd been mostly docile today.

"Well, If you're interested in small furry Underdark critters, be my guest to have the spoils." Then a look at Zahara as he crossed his arms. "You, pay attention and leave him be. You're on my time, and I'm not going to let you waste it being petty." Then another look to Zahara.

A little tightening on Zahara's collar, yes he heard that. and just a reminder for her reference. hmm. deals in the Llothian camp were going well. they were prefering teh halfbreeds with some physicality for sacrifice he was sure. or work slaves. Nothing from Jiscal, yet. and a few longer standing customers in Honoursfield.

Writing down some notes, mostly on whom to tighten his grip and extort a bit more money from, and what kind of breeding were more popular. he'd have to have more of those bred. then a hand on Malvolence, talking to piper.

if you want to hit him with somethign hard and blunt, make sure you have more reason than anoyance. he touches you, break what you want.

Little horses with newly grown in fangs...were dangerous. She was used to them nipping at her, but now they had fangs and she was soft and fleshy, which was perfect fang puncturing material. Yeah had to watch her hands or she might loose a finger here. Though her attention was grabbed for a moment as that spark went off in her head, followed by that high pitched nosie before Malik's voice sounded in her head. What I can't just hit him to hit him? That takes the fun out of it. Then a look over to Serino as he blipped back into existance outside and gave a nicker.

In his mouth he had a bag, twitching his ears happily and only to be greeted by four little foals gathering around him. They always did that...if mom or dad disappeared, they got practically mobbed when they came back. Even the little winged Zephyrs had started to follow example. Attention was good after all.

Piper merely unlatched Nightmare's stall, so she could wander as she pleased before walking out to Serino and taking the bag, tossing him an apple in return before sitting down on a nearby rock. What was with the spending time with the horses? To get the new one's used to her and to keep the other two from being too wild, keep them all used to humanoid contact. But a mirror was pulled from that bag and she checked out the thin cut line in her cheek from yesterday. If he touches me, I'll let Ramoth stomp him this time. And after that I'm going to give him to Broog, then I am going to stuff him in a box and ship him to the nearest drow city. A little vindictive maybe?

Oh no he just did not. She actually lifted her daggers to come after him until Sevilin scolded her for it. Well dammit, that really sucked. Just for that those animals were getting all sliced up to where they weren't even recognizable. There was more than one way to bleed the little critters. And so with a slip of the dagger those critters got sliced and diced. "Oh dear. Guess Malik wont' be using these pieces now will he?" And just to make sure she tossed them in the roaring fire. "Lloth damned b*****d..." Then she went about glancing at the new recipe that had magically been runed into existence and following the directions dumped the differet amounts in and stirred letting it come to a slow boil. "Too bad I don't ahve a buddy in this class. I could rune her messages and when you walked by just rune them away."
