That one was pretty sad.Poor Shuro T-T*sniffle*
They made such a cute couple but ever since I read vol 5,I've been all up into Aki now since he turned all evil & stuff.
But when he blew off his grandfather(was it??i can't remember) I thought that was really kool!!! xD
Aki is now my second fav character heart
Sorry, I'm not trying to be picky but saying Aki is your favorite character for offing his grandfather is pretty contradictory.

Everyone on the anime freaked out too when Aki & Aya kissed.
Those ppl were way TOO dramatic & its not even Aki but just the...image is sorta disturbing >_>;;
Well,I kinda have this thing with the evil type of characters(i find them quite interesting...)so forgive me if that's a silly reason to like Aki lol xD

LHL I really don't see what people see in Touya. I personaly want to kill him, even before what happened in book 8. Yeah I didn't care much for Tooya either. I liked Yuhi much better, especially toward the end of the series. But then again I seem to like the guy who likes the main character but never gets her a lot: Yuuhi, Hotohori, Tomite (as far as I know since I'm only on book 4 since I'm in the states), Yoji, Soshi (although Riiko likes him), Frey (OMG! I love Frei. He's so awesome) anyway back to Ceres. After I finished the series I was really sad. Eveyone dies (well not everyone but a lot of people) I was crying when Shuro died. She was my favorite Ceres character, I think. It's between Shuro and Yuhi. Shuro was so strong when she went through everything with Kei.

Okay. I don't know if this issue turned up in this thread already. But...
does anybody have ANY idea why Ceres recedes when Yuhi kisses her? I've read the entire manga, seen all the episodes in the anime, own the artbook, have been obsessed with the series for 2-3 years now, analyze everything over and over...
and I still can't figure out WHY, exactly!!! gonk
Is it because Ceres doesn't want to harm him? Or does it spark something in Aya? Or what?

I always thought it was 'cause Ceres liked Yuuhi. Or maybe Yuu Watase just wanted to add kiss scenes early on. After all, Tooya wasn't really there much in those volumes. Truthfully, though, it's been such a long time since I've read the early volumes, I don't remember.

Makes sense, I guess. About Ceres liking Yuhi. Maybe it also has something to do with how he supports Aya when she needs it.
I dunno. I'm just not sure of the technicalities of it.

Ditto on Shuro being a favorite. 3nodding Yeah, it kinda upsets me when Chidori died, but I thought Shuro was pretty cool when she went out. She died a hero, and she died happy. 3nodding
Hm... I guess Chidori did too, but I wasn't quite as upset when Shuro died. I wonder why...

i liked that song from shuro
and i like toya and chidori
i dislike aki a little but not much
this is probably the only anime ( that ive seen so far ) where im glad that im not the main charecter
aya's life was a mess and even if it does have a happy ending uts not exactly happy because toya's gonna die anyway crying
