While we're still on this subject, did you hear what the Vatican recently said? They rejected Intelligent Design in favor of Evolution.

Mm..I wouldn't say they really "rejected" it...they just clarified to Catholics the message they should be getting out of Genesis, that the "universe did indeed have a creator" and that it didn't just spontaneously manifest itself.
I think that evolution and intelligent design can work together; I mean, perhaps every detail was worked out, but God wanted to witness His work grow and develop over time.
But then, who am I to speculate? XD;

I'm sorry. It was advertised like that where I found the article. I read through it again & the article is not a rejection of Intelligent Design. Clearly there's the Intelligent Designer in the Bible. I just mean it's rejecting the closed-mindedness that usually accompanies supporters of Creationism & Intelligent Design in favor of the more open-minded style of Evolution. Also, the article says that some in Italy interpreted it as a rejection of Intelligent Design.
