Pointedly ignoring the query as she shooed Dagoth out, she met him downstairs, now keenly ushering him IN to a room.

She tapped at the control panel on the wall, setting up an open grassland with a border of trees and a small pond in the centre, and commanded the drone ot take the form of a minotaur.

Her tail scooped up a visor and the other necessary items for Dagoth to put on, while she pulled on a headset herself so she could watch.

"Play ball, m'dear... play ball."

Dagoth followed her in, placing his bag down just inside the room he waited for Roan to follow him in. The Pirate took them from her and grumbled placing them on his head, hands and other parts as required. He hated these things they felt cumbersome and stifling, he had long dropped full armour and had gotten used to fighting free. Now he was on show, on parade in front of her trapped inside this horrible kit.

"This.....never mind."

The Pirate watched as one of the bots shuffled forwards to him before unfolding fully into a fighting stance. Dagoth breathed in deeply remembering the training he had taken, he took his fighting stance low to the floor arms stretched forwards towards his target. He could feel his energy roll through his body turning into pure heat building through to his chest, with a sharp and direct thrust of his fists a bright and deep orange flame burst outwards engulfing the droid. It was hot enough to flay flesh and burn wood but there was not enough heat to instantly melt metal. The droid would be left glowing in the wake of the attack, Dagoth furrowed his brow.

"s**t."

Stepping out of the bathroom whilst still toweling off his hair, William used his foot to kick the big trunk/crate he used to house the weapons selection he used for the last mission under the bed of his current stay room; finishing up his cleanup process and preparation for what he was about to undertake. Throwing the towel onto the small table in his room, Will dug through his old clothing and pulled out his phone; quickly finding the number he wanted and dialing it as he struggled to find a shirt that wasn't currently covered in gun oil, copper solvent, or grease/powder residue.

"Hey Roan, you free at the moment? Was hoping that you wouldn't mind meeting me at the stay room I'm currently using and-ack! goddamn boot.....and talk some business with me for a bit. You're recent encounter with the world of combustible substances got me thinking, and I've got an offer I'd like to make you."
PostPosted: Thu Aug 09, 2012 2:51 pm

Chuckling, Roan laughed as the drone spun and lashed out at Dagoth, even while it burned. The roar of anger of the minotaur reverberated through the room as she ducked the drone moving by.

"Good. Do it again. Try getting nice and angry. That shouldn't be hard. Life is infuriating."

Her phone went off as she spoke, and she flicked it open without looking at the screen, and was thus somewhat surprised to hear Will.
She crooked the phone against her ear and listened, grinning slightly.

"Speaking of combustible... why don't you meet me and Dagoth in the training room? We can talk here."

"Wait, training room? I need to explore this place more. Tell me how to get there and I'll be over in just a few seconds."

Listening to Roan's directions, and copying them down on a scrap of paper in short hand for safe keeping, Will would say the usual 'see you soons' before hanging up and pulling on a clean shirt before strapping his pistol belt with his snub nose around his waist and heading out; knowing that just because it was a training room, did not mean it was safe.

Will wouldn't take too long to get to where Roan and Dag where, only getting turned around once in the process of making his way. Knocking on the door before opening it up and moving in, William walked over to Roan the moment he saw her; watching as the two of them watched a drone roam about the room.

"So......what exactly is going on?"
PostPosted: Thu Aug 09, 2012 3:08 pm

Having taken a good few steps away from the action to watch without getting in either Dag or the drones way, Roan was close at hand when Will entered.

Wordlessly, she peeled off her visor and passed it to him, indicating he should put it on. As soon as he did, the charred and blackened metal drone became a hulking minotaur, armed with an ax, on the offensive against Dagoth, against a backdrop of an open grassland framed by trees, featuring a small pond. Ripples passed through the water with every hoof-fall of the massive bull man.

"You said something about an offer?"

Taking in the sight of Dag battling a Minotaur, possibly THE Minotaur, was something that William had not expected when Roan had handed him the space age VR visor she had been wearing previously; slowly lifting the goggles up so that he watched the real world, he would switch between simulation and reality a few times before speaking to Roan, impressed that she had access to tech of this kind and caliber.

"Nice toys......yeah. Watching your armory burn to cinders the other day got me thinking; that fire should have never been able to burn for that long, nor should the ammunition have been stacked out in the open like that. That shows that either you have an armorer who is stupid to the point of endangering the lives of yourself and those around you, or you don't have an armorer to run the show and have been doing the best you can with what you have. My bet is on the latter, and I am here to offer....well more like politely demand the position of armorer and quartermaster of any and all armaments that you decide to accumulate for here on other than those that you state or to remain in your own personal care."

William knew that demanding things from the woman standing next to him was a foolish and reckless thing to do, but he felt that this is what he needed to do to keep both her and himself from any further occurances of sudden explody death.

"I carry enough kit to arm my people should such be needed, and to keep some very very very nasty items out of the hands of those who should not have them."

She paused after stating that, a slight set to her jaw showing some kind of both offence, then acceptance, then debate all crossing her face in quick succession.

"The fire wouldn't have started at all, if I had been more careful and paid better attention to my people. The fault is mine. I also had no real need to fear it, as Im hardly human, and did have a contingency, of sorts.
That said, if I was to allow someone else to take over the basic armoury from myself, and Jan when he has the time to organise the place... I would be taking out several items, including the one that stopped the spread.

This would mean an entirely new system would need installing to protect both the room, and the rest of the house FROM the room.

In short... it would be no small job."

"No, no it never really is, is it?"

He would watch her carefully, watching each facial expression and mood change closely; not daring to flinch in the slightest, even though he knew that he had offended her slightly with his comments.

"While hardly human you are, I highly doubt that you are infallible all the time; at the worst this is a learning experience. As for the armory and the contents you are removing from such, I have no arguments to brook there; as I said before, I respect ones desire to maintain their own equipment. I am much the same way with my own things. The armory itself however will need to be changed and in my opinion, expanded in anticipation to future growth; most likely moved either below the mansion or out of it and into its own set of rooms dedicated to it and nothing else. I have a great many ideas of what could be done with it, but I am more interested in hearing if you are willing to indulge me with the title and responsibility."

"I am capable of admitting my short falls, William, however I do not trust easily. The fact I have so many men in my house who are not long term acquaintances is a huge rarity. It will take some time for me to trust anyone besides myself and Jan to worry about some things.

A moment, please."

Leaving Will to watch Dagoth sparring with the drone, she stepped away and opened the phone once more.

"Jan. Are you near a computer? Can you pull up the stock market please? Yes, I'll wait....

Good. I want to know how our Glaxo-Smithklein stocks are looking. No, I know we said we'd liquidate the Spanish stocks next, but the price isn't right yet, and I wish to wait and see what the Baron does. Besides, I'm looking to release funds for two projects asap.
They're good? Excellent. Liqudiate a quarter of them please, and call in the usual contractor company to do some house restructuring for me.
No no, no change to the exterior. An underground complex. We will also need electricians, and contact with the Black Eagles for the second project. I want you to hack Nasa again."

Hanging up, Roan sighed and brushed her hair out of her eyes before again speaking, to both men.

"William, you have 48 hours to put together your ideas for a new underground complex. It will handle nothing but standardised kit for now, and I will turn the old room into a holding area for the more.... unusual... items until such time as I'm willing to let you look after those too, should I ever feel the need. Trust being what it is... you will move in, William. I will organise a proper suite of rooms for you, as I have for the others.

Dagoth, you have 48 hours more to practice in here, before you will move to sparring with me outside. It's time we upgraded this room too, whatever the cost.

Prehaps it is time I accept my assets and begin a more active campaign. You have 24 hours to say no, and leave, of course."

Dagoth blocked the incoming attack and rolled to his left, turning quickly to face the large beast before him. His annoyance at being directed grew he had only trusted one teacher before, he train of thought was interrupted when Will entered the room and began conversing with Roan.

"What is this op..."

Crack, the force struck him in the sternum sending him tumbling into the wall. Now he was mad, it was one thing to training and fail to watch what you where doing it was another to be hit so hard. It dawned on him that the Robot had hit him fully a lesser man would have been crushed by that blow, he looked at Roan and then Will. What happened next was similar to the armoury, his skin began to turn grey as he tore from the wall.

He could feel the magick in his body boiling as raged forwards towards the beast, it would drain to his legs as he ran. The pirate span to the right avoiding the incoming punch, his legs burst into a light azure colour whilst he used the beasts legs as a step from there his right leg struck the head. The heat was finally enough to slowly move through its head, he would drop to the floor landing in a press up position.

"That was too hard."

Dagoth moved over to Roan whilst Will suggested the new build for the house. He coughed loudly when Roan returned and spoke to them.

"I have something for you...."

Looking casually at the mess slowly turning to slag on the floor by Dagoth, she chuckled lightly. The TR definitely needed upgrading - these boys would destroy every drone she had within weeks otherwise.
She also smirked a response to what Dag had likely guessed - the drones hit hard enough to squash mortals, because they were designed to emulate beasts of a more... durable... nature.

"You just need to practice containing your anger, holing it up, then unleashing it when you need it. I have 500 years worth of anger all bottled up for when I need it. Imagine what I could do if I had your powers."

She cocked her head curiously to one side though as the man spoke his final sentance.

"For me? And what would that be?"

Dagoth winced for a moment he could feel his ribs stitched together, he strolled over to his bag pulling a short but deep jewellery box. He would had it over to Roan, when she choose to open it the box would contain two 10,000 carrot, D colour and 0 cut diamonds. The value he didn't really know but the gesture was obvious, payment for the armoury damage he had caused he was pretty sure something very valuable was destroyed in the fire.

"I'm sorry?"
PostPosted: Fri Aug 10, 2012 12:58 pm

Curious, especially as he handed her jewellery box, Roan frowned. The man couldn't, WOULDN'T be coming on to her, so what was with the box?....

"Beautiful..."

She sighed the word out, lifting one of the two stones out to turn it in the light, her red eye quite obviously shifting and changing as it performed some kind of inhuman magnification.
She understood the gesture, and nodded slightly, pocketing the stones, but handing the case back.

"May I ask where they came from? I do not ask out of disrespect, but their provenance may prove... useful."

"Keep the box. I was a Pirate Roan, it wasn't like I sat on my arse doing nothing."

Dagoth hoped that would pass for enough of an explanation for where they had come from, they were far more important than just a horde of jewels he had stolen. They were his cut from his first full raid when he joined the skulls, it was the prize of his collection and a small part of his fortune.

"I ain't broke, so I wana pay board."
