"I need to get stronger before then, then," Roch said, finally looking up at the sky. "We were sent back in time by that ghost guy. There should be a door or something to go back through soon, right?" Although some things had been changed, which he didn't quite get. The people they rescued hadn't been the same, Lattice, Lizzy, Vieve, Edel, they'd been nowhere to be seen--

And even though he now knew they hadn't captured Xiu and Amrita, he didn't know where they WERE. Nor the rest of his team--except he did see Rikki. But G would be hard to miss, and he wasn't there. The sky looked funny. The house looked funny, too. Was it just showing they were about to be taken out? Or was there something else going on?

Had the clockwork ghost guy forgotten them? Or been killed? He wouldn't believe it, but he'd seen the Soul Harvester die earlier. It was definitely possible...

Things had calmed down, and the glowing blue boo found himself bored, and then remembered the tent.

He hated the tent, hated being in the tent. But on the other hand...there may be more pain inside it. He would have to help of course.

It felt EXHILARATING, the light which flooded the sky in an instant. Puzzling, yes, but quite the welcomed sight as both human and student paused in their assaults to be blinded by it.

It took her a moment to realize that the scene which she had been galavanting through had drastically changed. The humans were gone, leaving a lingering stench in their midsts, her friends were no longer in sight which she hoped was a good sign, and the tent...it was open to them. Shadows danced along its face, embraces of all sorts depicted by the flickering lights within. Muffled voices finally prompted the lemur to move forward, her natural form lumbering across the field with great care. (There were still traps out here!) She had to admit, she was proud of herself...and in her gait it sort of showed.

But as Natalia closed the distance, she couldn't help but succumb to the anxiousness felt. Whisper...She had yet to see Whisper through all of this! What had her ghoulfriend been up to? Was she alright? Natalia needed to know! And it was with these thoughts that suddenly her knuckles struck the earth more fervently and her tail bobbed with her lopsided run as longer legs tried to keep up with her shorter arms.

"Whisper!" A low,(MANLY) husky voice howled.

Just like that it was over.

They won?

No...that was no win. That was just their enemies decided to toy with them and leave. Sure they had landed hits but... the fact that they had left so suddenly, leaving the tent unguarded put a sour taste in his mouth. What was inside?

Everyone seemed to be entering to find out... so he too, taking a running start, jumped over the area with the disarmed traps and entered the tent.

"Nah, it was pretty silly to waste time not attacking them.." Bul frowned. "We could've really smashed them up yanno?"

If he could see Bea, he would offer her a weak smile. "Yea and I can't imagine how frightening that must be," he said to his ghoulfriend. "It should really be the other way around- us scaring them."

The tent was standing battered at the end of the field looming with a questionable darkness that Bul only remembered as the sight of cages upon cages of his comrades. While it looked like things were safe in there Bul still felt it was his duty to provide any help. "Come on we should probably go see if they need any help in there.." He said giving her hand a gentle tug but leaving her to walk at her own pace.

"Still," she shrugged "It's the thought that counts. Besides, I don't think it really matters anymore anyways..not since they all retreated like that.." Letting out an irritated sigh, she couldn't shake the thought that something seriously bad was going to happen--and the looming grey...whatever that was coming didn't inspire much hope.

Practically snorting, she nodded in agreement. "Seriously. We should inform them on that next time we see them." She added, jokingly. Tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, she spotted a certain black dog appear from within the tent. Tybalt? Was he captured?

Staring dumbly at the black dog, she regained her mind when Bul commented on heading in to the tent. "Right!" Squeezing his hand in return, she followed after him. Nearing the tent, she reached out and grabbed at Tybalt's fur as to pull him in with them. "Glad to see your still alive--in a sense.." She grinned. "Lets just say, hell broke lose and had a play day on the field. In any case, your coming with us!"

Exiting to tent, and dragging Tybalt along lol

The grey now covers most of the field and is approaching the tent area.
PostPosted: Tue Nov 01, 2011 5:03 pm

"Yep." He agreed and gave a snort at the broken doll's comment. Alive indeed. But if it weren't for the other students coming to their rescue... could he really have said the same later on?

When she started pulling at his fur for him to follow, he didn't hesitate to follow. That grey was covering the majority of the area and it didn't like it was anything healthy so it was probably better to avoid it if possible.

Tybalt is re-entering the tent!

Roch wasn't going to panic. Not when he was standing next to the biggest badass he'd ever met (short or not, hellpony stage was just total WIN) and squealing like a little ghoul after all he'd been through was stupid to the point of moronic.

But he did take a step back. A small step. But still a step. And he gritted his teeth, summoning his guitar again, not that it would do him any good.

The story thus far..

Inside:

Students had been caught by hunters in various and mostly underhanded ways. After a near loss of the kelpie, Calder, to weapon transformation, and then a strange rewinding of time, the captives soon found themselves alone to suffer the happy but painful hope of rescue together. And rescuers did come, after many searches for the cage's key cards, the rescuers took matters into their own hands, and sacrificing their own health, destroyed the hunters' generator. A bright blue light filled the room, leaving students feeling refreshed and energetic. As students reunite inside, a discreetly placed LCD screen lights up and begins counting down.

Is this the calm before the storm?

Outside:

Hunter trainees and students were taken to a room where time was held at a standstill. When they were released, they found themselves confronted with a very familiar scene: the hunter back yard encampment and a recently captured Soul Harvester. This was not a simple case of deja vu, but rather a do-over created through a deal between the Harvester and the mysterious Clockwork. The senior hunters appear to have no idea that time was manipulated in such a manner.

A battle began to take place, and the students, having run through this particular warzone before, now had a much easier time of it. But before things could really heat up...the Hunter Trainees got an new command, via text, and were transported out of the area for what was revealed to be an ambush on the other students who were taken through through the door of Space.

The benefits of going back and changing the past can be high, as are the risks. In this version of events, it was not Caelius to meet the Soul Harvester on the field as she was freed, but Dr. H and his assistant. Rather than meet her head on, power for power, the doctor took advantage of a moment of weakness to behead her, in the hopes that their portable containment unit could hold the Harvest long enough to fully contain her. But their are certain creatures in any world that should not be bound, and instead of holding her, it fully destroyed her instead.

Alone on the field against a mob of nightmare creatures, Dr. H and Clarice summoned the help of Moon Squad 12 to hold off the assault until Caelius returned with the trainees. Separately, the squad members are nothing too difficult, but their defensive coordination has created a difficult wall for those trying to fight their way into the tent. Others have sought to use stealth to sneak in the back way, but only a handful have made it through without attracting the doctor or his assistant's rather painful attentions.

A bright light burst from the tent and filled the field, giving students a renewed and energetic feeling. As students breathe a sigh of relief and wonder what exactly just happened, a creeping invasion of grey begins recolouring the field.

Is it really safe out here?

It begins below them, with the ground trembling ever so slightly. In the distance the windows of the house fill with vibrant blue light. For a moment the house seems to twist in on itself and the ground began to shake with a terrible violence. The house twists further and then, from two of it's doors, twin rainbows burst forth, slamming into the field. They cleanse the field of all the hunters' equipment and debris and know many a student off their feet. When finally the rainbow flood ceases, you look around the field and see your companions have been highly effected by the rainbow. They are sparkling. The smell rather nice. They are all wearing the same dress. And looking down...you see that you are too.

There is a collective moment of "Wait....what?" But it doesn't last, as a new figure takes the field. Is it a boo? A really giant...highly obnoxious looking boo? If so then this shouldn't be too hard, right?

Herryk didn't have time to answer Freya before a strange light caught his attention. He straightened as the area grew brighter, lifting his arms to shield his eyes. When the flash was over...

Really? A dress?

Groaning, Herryk reached down to help Freya up before he turned his attention to the ~magical giant boo~ before them. He was tired of fighting. He was tired, period.

Despite his fatigue, Herryk launched a mighty punch at the boo. Finally, he'd landed a blow.

Awesome.

Following Herryk's example, dress or not, Mort concentrated and sent a small jolt at the magical Boo.

He was rather tired of seeing these things himself.

She was about to respond to the boils when---what.the.jack..? What the hell just happened? WHAT THE HELL WAS SHE WEARING!? "No! JUST NO!" Why? Why did she always end up in a jack damned dress!? And of all dresses--one like this!? It felt like she had just been sitting in the princess corner! "Oh Jack! K-kill it!"

So much for that tent. It was as if the moment the half beast opened his mouth to say anything in there they were all going to die. Or something along those lines. Luckily for him the tent provided a moment's shield over them and spared him Mei Seiji and Tybalt any obscene damage.

Perhaps the most damage that got dealt... was to the dress Bul was now standing in.

"...."

Bul felt it necessary to shed the thing somehow and turned natural form for a moment only to find it still managed to fit him just a bit but appeared almost as a two piece now. GREAT.

Before he lashed out though he reached into the now stretched pocket and pulled out a pumpkin pill to take and refresh himself before this next great series of battle.

Before Shun could answer Mitsu or anyone else, colorful lights had flooded the tent. And before he really knew it, everyone was wearing the same damn dress.

"Oh jacking s**t! What the ******** is this?!" he exclaimed, exasperated. Sure the magic stung slightly but more than anything his pride and humility was hurt with this. Gritting his teeth, he summoned his daggers and turned towards the wizardly culprit.

Needless to say, he was incredibly unhappy with this turn of events. He wanted to end this thing right now.

... As well as grab his spare clothing to change into.

"Jacking boos..." he hissed before glancing towards Mitsu, "Now would be good to change forms I think."

With that said, he rushed forth and stabbed into the boo.
