The answer was of course, yes and no- Right now, that amount was all the concrete information Kyla was ready to part with.
But there was something else. It was something small – yet infinitely grand in how it was connected to the rest of her feelings.
This was it. A threshold was about to be crossed.
The moment in which Kyla embarked on a path of no return.
The girl was finally going to let ‘others’ inside, actually other people, not figments, not pieces, not spirits or summons, but whole- actual people! This felt different then with Louis. Originally it was still not entirely open to him; her heart that is… it was a maze, a landscape in which anyone could be lost. But she was by passing all those things and letting James and Bobbi jump right in!
If she let this happen, she would have to deal with what that would leave in her for the rest of her life.. . for however long she had left. It frightened her.
“I’m a little scared.” She admitted, “I’m afraid of what you’ll see…”
If she let them in, they’d get closer. If they got closer, she’d care more. And when it was all over- it would hurt even more. Kyla was reassured by this unacknowledged protection, this safeguard of ambiguity that reminded her how easily she could make a clean break from everyone- just in case.
But now, she was going to let this fail safe go.
“…It’s … I’m not normal. There may be something else down there too. It’s confusing. I made it like that so Ava Matt couldn’t just traipse about as he pleased. What if you get lost?”

“Don’t worry. I don’t think it will work like that- but if something goes wrong Kyla, I’ll show them the way!”
Spoke up the tiny fur ball summon from where she sat on the floor across from them. All this time Carbuncle was still observing, but now at this point she padded forward, and without missing a beat leaped right for her partner! Just before one would think she’d collide with Kyla’s chest, the creature instead phased into her- disappearing into the artists form, back into her heart.
“I see… she went on ahead. Just in case....heh... she feels terrible about what she said.”
But of coarse feels beyond requesting forgiveness at this point. At least they were allike in this way- for now, Kyla thought.

Azrael...there was no real better way to put it. He pouted, watching Rumple and Ell work on their 'thing'. As Ell pulled the seeds out of herself, Az just smirked. That stuff? That was nothing at this point for him. Of course, that was mainly because it wasn't in him anymore.

He listened as Rumple spoke, And then turned around and flumped to the ground, legs crossed as he raised his finger to write with it, the ground his paper, before he shook his head. An unversed snake, one of Az's, slithered to him from seemingly nowhere. It sat in front of him, the tip of it's tail suddenly writing in the ground as Az nodded or shook his head.

He had to plan his stuff so he wouldn't be put on the spot. Though something was nagging at him...he couldn't put his finger on it, but something seemed off to him. He ended up thinking on that, as well.

{ ATE : Liberation from Fate : 30 }
{ Rumplestiltskin : Halloween Town : Lab Rubble }

Time had passed in silence as Elleon gave the question thought. She seemed to mull over the various options--they were infinite, after all--before finally shrugging.

"You say this new heart will be uniquely my own?" she asked, though rhetorically. Her brow was raised and lips pursed, almost in doubt of the Dark One's claims. Still, the corner of her mouth tugged upward, as if to smirk. "Then so be it. The others were given gifts chosen by their heart, I'll have gifts no less fitting. Let my heart decide."

"So shall it be~" he said, bringing the bottle up between them, pulling out the stopper, and lightly blowing over the top of the opening.

As he did, green mist flowed freely, gliding over to Elleon--and the moment the first bit of the cloud touched her, it began to rapidly swirl around her form, like a storm of cosmic energy. Her body began to hover off the ground, going somewhat limp, as her eyes began to glow with blinding light.

The process had begun. Elleon would have experienced a Forced Dive, as it were, watching the deepest layers of her heart go through everything. The missing holes in her heart's memories, from her original life before replication, were filling up, and for a brief moment, it was as if she had once more become Noelle, only having lived the past few days as Elleon. As a result, however, the black core holding her faux-heart together unraveled, and in that short, immeasurable instant, she ceased to exist, no heart to keep her alive.

However, a wish cannot end in someone's death or erased existence. The memories that unraveled, which would have simply slipped chaotically into the cosmos, were gathered and managed. Those from before her replication had their heartfelt ties shed away, and with the emotional factor gone, the memories were kept stored in the mind, as information--clear, concise, but impersonal. Those from after replication, those that were uniquely her own, were once more linked together, piece by piece, into a chain of memories. However, without the tainted core, the memories were wholly blackened no more; light was allowed to shine through, illuminating moments just as often as darkness would enshroud them.

The final result of this newly-formed memory chain was a heart borne of a natural balance, with no outweighing tendencies toward obscurity or brilliance. She was Elleon, and yet she was more. Her goals and thoughts were still her own, but now she could perceive so much more on the spectrum. She was whole--but she was also unique. Alive.

The process ended as the emerald maelstrom slowed, allowing the woman to land softly on the ground, on her feet--before she fell to one knee, trying to recompose herself. In fact, she was probably still on her Station of Awakening, getting a feel for her new self.

In her mind--and her heart--she heard a soft, unfamiliar female voice:

You are still safe. Take your time.

The green dust, now simply mingling in the air, flew back into the bottle, as if sucked in by a vacuum, and Rumplestiltskin replaced the stopper, turning now to Azrael.

"You'rr~rrre up," he said, smiling, though it seemed terse. "You know the drill. Rip out that parasite and we get to business."

Azrael looked up from the scribbles on the ground, before getting up and brushing dirt and rubble off of his butt. He was smirking as he did so, turning to look at the Dark One. "We can skip that part. I already got rid of that stuff."

He clapped his hands together to get rid of the dust and dirt off of them. "I'm not the biggest fan of random things appearing in me at who knows what the cost."

He looked over at Elleon, his smirk losing a bit of his edge as he did so, but he just nodded and looked back at Rumple. "Right, well, she lived, so let's get this deal underway. You just want wishes to you and I get the heart, right?"

Rumple's initial response to Azrael's admittance was to pull his head back slightly, brows furrowed and lips pursed.

"What."

The scaled magician blinked a few times as the replica explained himself. Though he appeared less confused and more intrigued, he still tilted his head, raising a brow.

"Well. Surprises abound."

Immediately, the Dark One recomposed--his stance and expression changing as if the only change had been a flicker of light--and held out the bottle. His fingers were still gripped tightly around it, and he repeated the directions: touch the bottle, announce the forfeiture of one's wishes to the other holding the bottle, and with a tiny flurry of mist, the transaction was completed.

"So, you remember what I told her," he said, drawing the bottle back and placing his other hand gently on the stopper, ready. "Everything about you may change. Do you have anything specific in mind, or~rrrr shall your heart speak for you?"

Az shrugged. "Yeah, yeah, I heard. I couldn't come up with anything on my own though." He jerked his thumb to behind him, the snake currently slithering all over the drawings and words to erase them...or what was left considering most had been 'crossed out' already.

"So, guess it's just up to luck of the draw...of the heart...of the cards...whatever, let's just do this quickly and get it over with."

Rumple simply smiled, lifted the stopper, and blew, initiating the same process for Azrael as he'd done for Elleon. A mist appeared, it swirled into a maelstrom, and the Azrael that was went through everything heart-tugging moment, becoming nothing at all before finally being put back together as the Azrael that could be.

Finally, as the process came to an end, the once-replica was let down to the rubble once more, and in an effort to regain composure--and pull back into reality from the Dive as safely as possible--he was lowered onto one knee as well. The distant, female voice echoed in his heart and mind:

You are still safe. Take your time.

By this point, Elleon had returned to her feet as well; it had been a few minutes, after all, as long as it had been for her.

Rumple said nothing. He merely put the stopper back on the bottle and slid it, and his other hand, behind his back, where the bottle vanished and his hands gripped one another in patient biding.

[ATE: Liberation from Fate: 35]

It took him a while, but Azrael finally came back to reality. What he went through was...a rush. That was the best way he could put it to himself.

He shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts, considering he just got a whole bunch of new ones thanks to getting 'the rest of the story'. It was a lot to take in, and it made him reach up and rub his own neck. <********> It was all he could really say...well, almost.

"Is the fog a normal thing? Like a 'new heart smell' sort of thing? Or would you even know that?" He took in a breath and let it out in a sigh, rolling his head and neck as if trying to get out a soreness that wasn't even really there.

"That would be your summon," he explained to both of them, since Elleon had looked intrigued as well. Notably--at least, to Azrael--the Dark One's smell had grown more intense: strong, but not fetid, as one might expect of things tied into darkness.

Or, rather, perhaps the once-Replica's nose no longer compared the wish-giver to his own scent, which before had been so much more overpowering in its absolute depravity.

"Your fancy spirits are wells of magical energy bound and given form. The binding occurred when the travelers entered our worlds; the forming, an unintentional result of the dress spheres, which also cement the binding, enforcing obedience," he elaborated. His voice maintained its high pitch, but did so with a rather grating, know-it-all tone. Then, though, he shrugged. "Incidentally, you will both be receiving a dress sphere when we are done here, along with a couple other souvenirs~."

"However, first we must finish up! I was paid for more than just hearts~" he said, and he pulled his hands from behind his back to offer something to each of them. In his hands were small, thin glass vials of what appeared to be... water. And yet, once his arms had fully reached forward, the water began to swirl with thick clouds of purple, making the liquid entirely opaque.

"These vials contain a wealth of power--more than enough to make up for what was or may have been lost," he explained, smiling impishly. "First and foremost: an infallible masking of your presence, lest you choose to make yourself known. No more pesky "scents" or "traces"! Unless ya haven't bathed, anyway."

He giggled at his own joke, but didn't expect them to.

"Second, and almost as important: the ability to vanish and rr~rrrreappear wherever you so choose--without the use of shadow corridors," he explained, and his high tone seemed to give way to disgust at the mere mention of them. "Using the corridors now will only alert the darkest ones to your location, and worse, will allow them to place you where they choose. Be smart little dears and don't use them, hmm?"

"Third, and this one's a charmer: immunity," he said, letting that word hang in the air as he glanced between the two. "To the more established curses, anyway. No pesky battle hexes, such as poison, or forced sleep, or even petrification. No more hindrances to deal with a'tall."

"Fourth, and one you might sorely miss: minion control," he said, still smiling. "Heartless you call or create will kneel just as before, only now without the threat of taint to your precious little hearts. Further, you may still form your Unversed pets--and better, Nobodies will even heed your command. Though, of course, take care with those--once you let them go, they could just as easily report to others if they are commanded. Best to off'em, no one likes a loose end, right? Right."

Rumple seemed to hesitate, chewing his cheek as he glanced between the two. His eyes narrowed, and it almost felt as though he were sizing them up. However, finally, the water's purple seemed to flicker, as if magic dust had filtered into it.

"Finally," he said, his voice annoyed. "Access to infinite~ magical~ energy~... with certain restrictions--after all, magic comes with a price."

"Your body has natural... limiters, as it were, on the amount of magic in your veins, and the rate at which it replenishes. The power I grant you now removes the limitation of regenerating: the moment you expend energy, it shall instantly be returned. Your body will be tapping into magic without hindrance. However," he interjected, looking both dour and impish. "This does not change your maximum threshold. You may expend no more in a single spell than your body has access to, without external sources... or without removing those limiters. Do that, though..."

Suddenly, he grinned and giggled--that same high pitched, all-too-amused giggle. "And I have no idea what will happen to you!" he exclaimed, maintaining his grin. "Best to avoid it, I'd imagine, unless you're willing to pay the price."

"Drink this, and everything I've said will be yours," he said, tilting the vials just slightly in their direction, indicating they should take them. "But if at any point from now you begin to serve the darkness... you forfeit the gifts I have so gener~rrrously provided... and you will be hunted down. That is the only remaining price. If you accept... drink up~"

James remained silent as he listened to Kyla's response after Bobbi's question. She was scared, and understandably so. She was opening her heart to them in order for them to help. To the corsair this was a huge step forward for Kyla, definitely one in the right direction provided everything went well. The gunner grabbed a nearby chair and pulled it up to sit next to Kyla. He had been listening of course, he just didn't really have any input. He knew a bit more than Mizu did, especially in regards to the Nameless. He wasn't sure if that was relevant to what they were about to do though, and he didn't feel it was his place to tell her about it. Kyla would reveal that when she felt the time was right. The gunner sat down right at the point where Tyue leaped into Kyla's heart, ready to lead the way for them if need be.

"I suppose we shouldn't keep her waiting then eh? Let's get this done," he said perhaps a bit more enthusiastically then he intended as he craned his neck to crack it and then cracked his knuckles as well.

The boy who'd been silently watching, listening, waiting, could take a hint. As carbuncle leaped back into Kyla, he scratched his head and sighed. With a glance at the others still oblivious to his presence, he looked to Kyla who was submerged in a pool of her own problems. Nothing to say. He stepped behind Elsa and as he passed out of sight, he was gone, just like that.

Well it seemed everything was in order- so she thought. She hadn't much experiance wiht diving, or droping besides what happened with Kyle so... she just had to take their word or it. Speaking of hearts- hers was now pounding, harder and harder- as James pulled up a chair so all of them surounded her like some holy trinity- she could hear it in her ears.

Eyes snap up, one final look at Elsa who had Louis standing behind her.
He disappeared just like Carbuncle had and unaware, thinking he had followed Carbuncle inside in the similar manner for the same reason, she felt a little better. The girls timmid expression locked on Elsa one final time before she took some deep breathes and closed her eyes.

Ok so- how did they do this? Did she have to think of something?
Was it like meditating?
Did she count sheep and go to sleep?
May be she had to visualize it?
Or may be she was over thinking this again-
Most likely.

Just relax. Focus on your breathing.

But wait seriously? what did she do? How did it happen last time? did the wizard do soemthing? Did they have to be nearby the cornerstone to do this?
Or-

She felt somewhere the exasperated sigh of her summon- she spoke wihtout words of tangible clarity to just- let it go.

How quaint.

Cue Incertus
And she did, she felt like she was pushed backwards, like something pushed her down. A strange sense of vertigo, and at the same time something pressing inwards right in her chest, her mind, and all around her.

Something or someone was pushing in, and at first every instinct told her to resist and push back at the invading forces, but thankfully Kyla remembered in time to recognize what was apparently the presence of her companions hearts.

It felt- like when you know someone is talking to you, it was that sense of their gaze looking at you, how it seemed to be looking inside you, and therefore in a sense they were.
Someone, more then one, was proding down and scratching the surface, it was like that and somehow Kyla felt it both- inside and out.
There!- again. Her eyes opened, and there she was alone, standing on the surface of her station once again, but this time it was different.

It had changed, and something large and dome-like loomed behind her, suspended on it's prestine surface. But right now, she didn't turn to look, instead her attention was drawn upwards.

Again, she felt it, and this time with much trepidation she let them slip through a barrier she hadn't realized was there. It opened like an afterthought, not as controlled as saying yes or no, but once again remembering to relax and let something happen.

For those coming in, they dove under the water blue deepened to navy, then black, lights floating up passed them as something far below slowly came into view. The closer they fell the more they could make out a distant station of awakening, and some kind of strange structure hovering on it's surface.

{Bobbi .:. Disney Castle .:. Library>>Kyla's Station of Awakening}

Bobbi reached out and gripped Kyla's shoulder reassuringly for a moment, offering the pictomancer an encouraging smile. She understood why Kyla might be scared—it was hard letting others in, after all. She didn't say anything, simply acknowledged Kyla's "confusing" station with a nod.

She tried to get a word in, but before she could figure out how to phrase what she wanted to say, Kyla had already started her Dive. With a slightly exasperated sigh, aimed mostly at herself for being slow in a conversation again, she started her own meditation, and soon Bobbi was alighting on a disturbingly dim Station of Awakening. Her eyes immediately locked on to the lotus-like structure dominating the station. She frowned, for all that the structure was very, very pretty, it seemed… wrong. Aside from the fact that the Station should be a purely flat surface with nothing more in the way of features than the stained glass of the platform itself, Bobbi thought she saw wisps of darkness drifting from inside of the lotus.

It took some effort to tear her eyes away from the structure and take in the rest of the Station. Compared to her own it was… dark. Dim. The blackness surrounding the station was normal, but the glass was significantly less vibrant than her own. The tiny motes of light dancing around were somewhat comforting—at least her friend's heart wasn't totally desaturated. But the Station should have been glowing from within, and it seemed that Kyla's simply wasn't, and that disturbed the shorter brunette.

Still, though, better say what she'd meant to before Kyla had gone into her Dive. She could remark on the vibrancy settings later.

"I wanted to say this before we started," she said, slowly, still taking in the station. "My… ah, Louis fragment has been kind of… problematic. I don't think he can affect anything outside of my own heart, but I wanted to let you guys know about that before we Dove. Dived? Whatever, still too late now. You can still kick me out if you need to, Kyla, just keep an eye out for… psychotic laughter and extreme sadism? Mine's a real piece of work. Also nucking futs; I think I got the real Louis' insane side."

[[Louis? : Station of Awakening]]

Louis continued to spin and dance around the throne for a bit, throwing explosive rounds into the dome, but it wouldn't budge. Any damage was repaired as quickly as it was caused. The boy slowed his twirl to a stop, leaning off center to look at the dome. At first he looked perplexed, then, looked down at his arms which burned with black fire. Then, a look of of excitement washed over his as he looked up, ignoring as several spheres burned away into nothing behind him, "Haha! Ahahhaa~ It's... so bright~" darkness poured off the boy up into the sky, like an upside-down faucet, as he reached up with both arms as if gasping for something. The rose on the throne shifted, straining, opening, blooming further, releasing a high pitch screaming like strained metal. The spheres had died out now... all that remained was the incessant cry of the rose.

[[Stupefaction from Umineko No Naku Koro Ni]]

Somehow over the noise, Louis' voice carried across the platform, though it was different this time from the previous speaker:

"My eyes seek blessings begging forgiveness,
while my mouth spits curses spelling pain.
My feet move with the rhythm of life,
while my hands beat the drum of death.
Shine bright shattered ones,
for I shall show no mercy.
Ugly fate be your mind's decision,
Beauty be in the last breath of life.
Dream of peace shining cherub,
Day will break and night will fall without you.
Now close your eyes and sleep,
The cold won't last forever."

Darkness pooled at a point and began to spread like veins running across an invisible ceiling. As it seemed to reach the limits of its reach, the light flickered scarlet. There was the sound of shattered glass as his arms dropped to his sides and the veins suddenly blasted across everything as cracks in the sky, fragmenting the light, casting shadows from everything in all directions. The rose and the throne exploded, scattering black pedals and blood in every direction, permeating the air and covering the floor and boy in sticky red, glowing dye. The boy's shadow had split, each shadow growing pitch back as clawed fingers reached out of the pools and pulled out identical bodies out of the oily pits. 2...4... 6... their numbers just kept growing for each shadow the boy cast as the petals slowed and stopped in mid air across the entire station.

{ATE .:. Twenty Questions or So .:. 49}
{Bobbi .:. Station of Awakening}

One teeny, tiny, insignificant part of Bobbi kind of wanted to know what it was Louis saw that he thought was bright. The rest of her was in "figure out what to do, idiot!" mode and kept her wisely inside of the dual Mirror Wall domes. When she heard the metallic scream she gritted her teeth and winced, but refused to clap her hands over her ears. For one thing, she knew from experience that it never actually helped, and for another, she didn't want anything interfering with her hearing just in case something else decided to happen. But damn if that whine didn't hurt!

When Louis began to recite poetry—poetry of all things!—she wondered for a moment if maybe she had been "blessed" with two Louis shards. It would certainly explain the disparate personality fragments. But… no, the human psyche was a vast and complex thing. She probably got "lucky" and got the fragment that held the extremes of his persona. Hopefully, for Kyle and Kyla's sakes, they got the middle grounds.

Although she was starting to wonder if Louis really was human. The psycho laughing and crazy-a** darkness-based attacks were certainly making her question her already severely crippled faith in humanity.

Something red and apparently glowing splattered a little on the ice dome, causing Bobbi to jump and squeak. She looked back to Shiva, who shook her head; the Esper had no more idea what was going on than Bobbi did, of course. Wordlessly, they agreed to open a small hole in the dome in order for Bobbi to see out to the rest of her Station. One glance, and Bobbi hastily patched the hole back up.

"s**t sticks," she muttered, gnawing on her bottom lip. "He's multiplying. I don't… I don't think I can beat him like this…"

I'd be lucky to so much as hold my own against him! But I have to try.

[[Personal Music Inspiration Feel free to Ignore: Voiceless from Umineko]]

"Real... huh?" came a sullen, simple reply from beside the group. The boy, covered in animal fur, that perhaps once might have been vibrant and the color of flame, stood there, arms crossed over his chest uncomfortably, fur dimmed to hues of gray and white, face downcast, and biting his lip. He made no other comment, but by the look in his eyes, Bobbi's comment sunk deeper than any blade could pierce. They could all see and hear him, though his thoughts remained his own.

That... must be it, the pieces were clicking in the young man's head. It was hard for him to hold onto memories or concepts for long... but he'd managed something by himself, I'm... not real at all. That's why... no one can see me...

Just like that, the meaning he'd built up for himself... his purpose, fell apart, I promised to protect her. To keep her safe. To help her. But... in the end... what could I do? his grip tightened over his arms, I'm not real... she needs her real friends to help her. I'm... just useless.

"I'll... be over here. Everything will be fine Kyla, your friends are here to help you," his words were encouraging and his smile convincing, but the tone wasn't there. His voice was as dim as the girl's station, "You can do it. Trust in them... they can save you. I know it."

[[Louis? : Station of Awakening]]

[[re-Cue: Growing Wings(English Version) by Nobuyoshi Sano]]

"With mouth agape, eyes wide open
Silent screams, never heard
never spoken.
You're not going to win...

The maiden prays, desperately weeping
for miraculous wonder, the heavens reply,
not for you.
You're doomed, you and your friends...

There she begged, breathing her last
her savior turned his eye, she cursed his name
death befall you all.
You're tired...
Just close your eyes...

Death befell her at last."
