Gambit blinked rapidly confused when Jaime basically dropped the whole thing after a few short words. Turning his attention back to Kit as she answered his earlier questions. In response he nodded and said, "I see well I'd be willing to lend a hand if I'm around at the time."
Once they went into the house Gambit took a seat with others. When Kit began talking to one of the others in the foreign language again Gambit tried to get comfortable in the seat. As Kit said to her he looked over to her and listened. When she said that they were going to share rooms a smirk came his face as he said, "I don't mind share a room with you lil' miss. That'll give me a chance to get to know you better. By the way I never got y'all names." Standing up he cleared his throat and said, "Allow me to reintroduce myself since I'm in the of who I assume are fellow mutants. I'm Remy LeBeau, but I do go by Gambit."

 Damian scooped him self up and came in to the house to deal with the scraped hands. some peroxide or alcohol would be enough for the scrapes. he located alcohol pads in the kitchen first aid kit and wiped his had with them. "owie..." Damian said bouncing cause the alcohol was burning. he used a few band-aids on the parts of his fingers that were still bleeding a bit. after he was fixed up he hoped over the back of the couch with a seat between him and gambit. and grabbed the remote from the arm of the couch. "got a favorite channel?" his said kicking off his shoes.(@ blaze: he sits like L XD)

"I'm Kit Majors. The woman that went upstairs was Kurai and with her was Jaime." She said. "It's nice to meet you, Gambit. I'm going to go get a soda, once everyone is introduced I'll show you the room." She said and left the room and went into the kitchen.
Kit grabbed a can of Dr. Pepper as she pulled out her cell and texted a contact of hers up in Canada. She was pretty sure that's where Toad would go seeing as how not only Sabertooth was up there but also Juggernaut was with their combined groups. The phone buzzed and she read the reply then deleted it and the sent message. Kit opted to stay out in the kitchen for a few minutes, despite her acting relaxed she was actually still very pissed off from the days events.

"hey neato! look our handy work got on the news!" Damian said stopping his channel surfing on the news once he spotted the Brotherhood house on fire and the word breaking new mysterious fire. "hey it caused a few other fires too!" (sorry i'm bored lol)

When Damian jumped into the sofa next to him Gambit looked over at him and flashed a friendly smile. When he asked him if he had a favorite channel he shook his head and said, "Don't worry about me I don't really watch television much unless it's the news."
As Kit introduced everyone Gambit nodded then replied, "It's a pleasure to meet you too Kit." As she left and when into the kitchen he watched her until his attention was grabbed by Damian shouting out something about what they did on the news. When he heard mention of a fire breaking out he thought to himself, 'They make a big deal outta' me being a thief, but they're arsonist. I'm not going to bring it up now, but I'll keep that in mind.' Turning for the TV he said to Damian, "Um, by the way I don' think I caught your name."((I figured that out when I started demoness. Btw when does this rp take place? I know it's after m-day.))

She heard Damian making a big deal of something and she came out while Gambit was asking Damian's name and she sneered at the back of the white-haired boys head. "Y-you...." Her eye twitched as she went up and grabbed the remote from Damian and turned it off. The urge to impale the electronic into the boys head was over whelming but she just tossed the remote over her shoulder and grabbed Damian by the collar of the shirt and lifted him easily off the couch and up above the ground. "The ******** do you think you're doin' makin' a big ********' deal outta that and announcin' who did it!? Tch." She dropped him on the ground and stomped up the stairs.
From the living room they could hear her door slam and then heavy metal started blasting from said room.

Damian's head sank like a scolded puppy. he stayed sitting puppy style where kit left him moping, she had got mad at him twice now in the last hour. he have to try and be good, he stayed behind the couch for a bit before thinking about heading to his room.

While waiting for Damian to answer his question Gambit jumped to the side when Kit came out and snatched the remote out of his hand. When she threw the remote over Damian's shoulder and snatched him up. After she cursed him out threw him down Gambit said with a startled expression, "Well dam she came at you like a bat outta' hell. She alway like tha'?" He looked up stairs to make sure nothing wasn't about to fly out at him.

"Nah, only when people are stupid. Then, as you can see, watch out. Believe it." Tala answered Gambit as she went behind Damian, and patted him on the shoulder.
Kurai went ti Kit's door with a few papers in hand. "Kit? So far we got his rapsheet. Still goin through the stuff from the island." "Your wiskers are drooping, I know what you need." She went into the kitchen, and going beneath the sink, behind a couple bottles of bleach to keep her from smelling it, pulled out a 2 liter bottle of Jack Daniels, and a fifth of straight whiskey. Bringing it up, with a pair of glasses, she said "Dr Kurai prescribes this. Take two and call me in the morning if not too hungover."
(Yes I did say it you Narutards!)

She trilled with happiness at Kurai. "Ah, good choice in meds doc. Have a seat." She said after she got up and closed her door part way then lowered the music. Kit sat down on the floor next to Kurai and poured them their Jack Daniels. "So what did find out about our new friend?" She asked then took a sip from her glass.

Kurai shook out her papers and read, "When he was around ten years old, he attempted to pick the pocket of Jean-Luc LeBeau, and was taken in off the streets and adopted him into his own family. Later he left New Orleans, and apparently has never gone back.
Remy wandered the world as he plied his skills as a master thief, aided by his mutant power to charge objects with explosive energy. He employs playing cards he charged with kinetic energy as his trademark weapon, as we saw in the car. He was almost killed by Sabretooth. He joined the Xmen for a while, but later he was captured and brought before a mock trial held by Magneto, then disguised as Erik the Red. He was summarily cast out of the X-Men and was abandoned in the frozen wastes of Antarctica. Later he returned home and encountered the X-Men again and agreed to return to the team.
He was later framed by mutant businessman Sebastian Shaw for the death of the Australian crimelord named Viceroy, but was able to clear his name."

She sipped at her drink as she listened to Kurai then leaned her back against the wall. "So he's a former Xavier student with a nice little history." Kit finished off her glass then went and poured more for herself.
"Lets keep him around for a bit. He seems interesting...not to mention he's not to bad on the eyes." She said with a smirk at her partner.

"sometimes she is" Damian said still moping poking at the carpeting "i wonder how long were staying here I'm not very good when it come to outdoorsy stuff" Travon said he had been to Sabertooth's base once before it and it made him think of summer camp apparently the guy liked his wilderness. "Na that ok i didn't think we could totally defeat them just slow them" Brett said holding his head he my be healed but he had a killer headache "i got bad headache.... they must got me good..."

 Gambit laughed then said to Tala, "Then I shouldn't have anything to worry abou' because I try not to do anything stupid." Walking over towards Damian he could hear some talking upstairs. Since he couldn't make any of it out he didn't know what they were saying but it was possible it was about him. Since he was new to them and literally met him on the street that was understandable, but he would like to do the same when he had a chance.
Standing infront of Damian he extended out his hand offering to help him up. "Need so help up? Um, I never caught your name since you were cut off by the way."((Sorry if I was holding things up I was a bit stumped on what to put.))

"oh... yea... m'names Damian" he said a little less mopey the conversation was helpful. he was thirsty but he wasn't sure what was in the fridge. "any body want drinks? not the over 21 kind i drank too much and got a headache in the morning." he said remembering feeling like crap after the mini party they had.
