The obscure child's eyes twinkled at the sound of the avatars's voice. However she made sure that she wouldn't get distracted, even if rocks were flying left and right, her hands tightened into a hard fist. It was as if she was trying her hardest to not do something, or was it to not turn into something? The trembling child suddenly began to dance, right there on the spot. Her movements were fluid and strong, hard yet fiery, practically hypnotizing. As she danced about her eyes began to have a golden glow, as she sang. "Listen one, listen all Listen to my feral call I the Trickster, daughter to Chaos call to thee Hark! Come brothers of the jungle - come sissters of the wood Let the jungle in! Let the forest in! And good hunting to all!" That was when the wind howled, or was it a pack of wolfhounds gathering outside? That was when the ground began to rumble as if old tree roots were trying to burst up, or would that just be imagination over reacting? That was when the leaves outside russeled violently, or was it a flock of ravenhawks gathering? The obscure child gave a mischevios grin that streched from one ear to the other. She apeared obnicent on the matter, as though she knew exactly what was going to happen. Then again of course she would know; for it was the obscure child who was causing this.

Katara found herself watching the child dance, completely befuddled at the thought of seeing this strange girl. The howling sound made goosebumps rise above Katara's arms. She looked left and right, trying to find the source. As the ground shook beneath her feet, she fought to keep steady, outwardly remaining calm, but inwardly panicking at the sudden change of events. The rustling outside drew her attention to a nearby window. She could see the half moon hovering outside. She felt the power it gave to her, but she couldn't help but feel frightened by the young girl standing before her. Defensively, she drew water around her arms, forming tentacle-like streams upon them before taking a step towards the girl. The waterbender wasn't going to show that she was afraid. This child wasn't going to stand between her and rescuing Aang. Narrowing her eyes, Katara took a defensive stance and waited for her first opportunity to attack.

Toph seemed to care less about the strange going-ons caused by the girl. She easily lifted up a wall to block Rage's dagger and lifted the slab of stone before tilting it and sending it flying horizontally towards Rage. She then turned her attention to Iden, "Aww, the bounty hunter doesn't think he needs help in catching me." She laughed and pointed her finger at him, "It'll take ten of you flunkies to even leave a mark on me!"

As she stepped closer the rumbling beneath grew, and grew, and grew. In a way the child saw through her disguise, just as cobras spread their hoods, or as birds puff them selves up, or any type of animal for that matter that makes them selves look larger, she knew that game Katara was playing, the act to intimidate. Once Katara was close to the child, and far away from the cadge that held Aang, at an instant large and giant roots that could match the size of bears bursted through the ground and began to entwine around the cadge. The roots spun and wove, and thorny vines grew as well, but only on the outside protecting the roots, even though the roots were as thick as steel. Meanwhile a budded flower grew on the inside of the rooted cocoon; it stretched through the bars and toward the direction of the Avatar. If touched the bud would open sending out pollen that could hold a magnificent fragrance, or a deadly poison to breath. Who knew? The obscure child does. Suddenly more roots began to burst through the ground some thin, some thick, and some even carried the remains of what once was a steel covered floor. The howling grew louder from the outside, as actual ravenhawks perched on the trees looking in through the windows with their greedy beady eyes. The child then sprinted toward the window with a soft laugh and light feet. Was she going to try to escape? Or let something in?

Katara whipped around as she saw the roots. She was too far to start running to help Aang, "ZUKO! Get him out of there!" She cried. Without a second thought, she raced towards the girl to prevent her from what she was doing. With a violent thrust of her hand, she sent the tentacle of water soaring towards the child, hoping to latch it onto her wrist. Fear had become replaced by rage. Katara used this to fuel her next attack, using the water on her left hand to send three ice-like spikes towards the girl.

(Unstoppable? Come now, nothing's unstoppable. But I guess you never said anything about undodgeable. Remember, this is me you're talking about razz )
Toph heard his words, and felt his arms move with the motions of drawing back a bow. She could feel the tension in his arms, the arrow was going to come fast. She waited patiently, and right as he let it fly, she twisted to the side, feeling the wind as it whizzed past her face and then turned back to her original position to shoot a boulder right towards his chest.

Trying to avoid the watery tentacle, she raced towards the window at a very high speed. A speed that could not be stopped by none other then the window, and the drop that was after the window. Lifting her hands up in defense as she swooped the window open, she notices the tactical that now circled her writs. A burst of black and grey feathers appeared as a flock of ravenhawks soared in through the window from outside to distract Katara, while the child lifted and commanded the roots to thickly form a wall between her and the approaching ice shards.

Katara was caught off guard by the winged beasts that were attacking her. She used her tentacle whip of water to swipe them aside. She then rushed towards the wall and formed an ice-slide before it. Her feet carried her forward, causing her to slide up the make-shift ramp in order to leap over the wall. As she started coming down, she drew her sword and lashed it down at the girl as she decended, hoping to make her mark.

Toph gave a scoffing snort, "Oh yeah, what's a measly little cloak going to do?" She threw out her arms and clenched her fists before lifting them upwards, sending spikes of earth jutting out of the ground before Iden as he ran.

She caught the movement of Katara’s arm moving toward her sword, as Katara was coming down for a landing, with her ever-observant eyes. The angle of the sword, and how it was being exposed gave away where the blade would eventually go, with that in mind the obscure child managed to catch the blade between her two open palms as it was being swung before it would reach at a deadly speed. However, her hands did end up bruised by the friction as small drops of blood would fall from the creases of her fingers. The child bared her teeth at Katara and gave a hiss. That was when a vine from the root wall came out suddenly to tie itself around her writs, or at least try.

Katara saw something move from the corner of her eye and with a quick motion of her hand, sent a slicing wave of water towards the vines that threatened to bind her. She then pulled her sword back and lashed out at the girl's side while shooting her other hand forward to send a blast of water from her waterskin at her.
